It is time...

The girl was definitely in awe as she stepped into the land of fluorescent lights and fireflies. It was beautiful, admiring the beautiful colours that surrounded the place. She wondered how Adam found this place, as a young boy like him didn't seem like the type to appreciate such landscape. She would stand there for a moment, her head turning left and right, a smile on her face. It was why she enjoyed venturing out at night, trying to find beautiful places like this was one of her secret pastimes. It felt strangely...romantic as she continued to be captivated by the scenery.

She was still lost in thought when she heard Adam speak. "We are here." She'd hear him say, but she was a little too preoccupied with all the lights and the moon hanging above their heads. It didnt feel like a training ground at all. It was too beautiful to be one even. "It's so pretty..." she breathed, a quiet whisper as though not to disturb the tranquility of the surroundings. Ami could stay here all night, she thought to herself. Snap out of it, she chided herself. Indeed they were here to train, not to admire the lights.

"You said train, so how about a spar?" She had never sparred with anyone before, other than those kendo-like soars they had at the academy. But those hardly counted for much and she longed to have an actual spar with someone for quite some time. Although there was an obvious age gap, Ami knew that Adam was strong and wanted to see for herself just how strong he was. It was simply the best way to train and she figured that they would be able to even learn a few things from one another through a fight.

. . Do not hesitate Hyuuga. . . Try to kill me. . . If not then i wont feel. . Alive. . ."

She heard his words and immediately her expression changed. The innocent smile disappeared and was replaced with a determined look as she turned around to face Adam. Her lips parted into a small smile, an expression she gave only those of her opponents. She was going to spar, get a taste of what it felt like to put all her training into practice. From as long as she remembered, the only people she sparred with were her father and a couple of students when she was in the academy. Nothing real...she had longed for someone to fight with, someone she could learn from even if she had to pay a price to do so.

She saw the famous Kaguya ability of creating weapons from their bones as Adam produced a sword from his body. It still amazed her how they were able to do that so flawlessly. She watched as his skin regenerated equally as quickly, as though nothing happened. Ami learned new things about people every day and this day would be no different. Her eyes narrowed as she brought her left foot forward, her right hand fingering the hilt of her blade her katana. She wasn't going to use her Byakugan just yet. She was going to feel out the fight first.

The Hyuuga ran towards Adam, pulling out her blade, as the sound of metal gliding on wood could be heard as she unsheathed it. The girl enjoyed sword combat, much more than hand-to-hand. For unknown reasons she loved weapons, even though her clan's fighting style didn't use them. She would pivot to her left, her sword arm pulled back behind her. As she reached Adam she would jump up off the ground, bringing both hands on her blade and pulling it over her head, coming down on him like that of an ax. The fight had begun...

It was going to be a very interesting night.

The girl had not expected her attack to connect as Adam was no weakling. She would watch as he defended her straight on attack with his blade and push the distance between them to three meters apart. If she knew her opponent correctly, which she would given the fact that she knew him well enough, the reason for this distance was none other than a counterattack. The smile never leaving her face, she would watch his movements. Such swift movements from such a young shinobi, she thought to herself. He was quite a fighter.

The Hyuuga would see that he was coming for her with a direct attack of his own blade. The distance between them was too close for her to dodge, so she would have to block it. Sensing that it was probably aiming for her midsection, she would twist the hand holding her katana horizontally to counter. She could feel his blade cut a part of her dress, a slight slit now forming as their blades would connect. it was a nice move from his part, she thought. She pushed her blade upward, the force of her body hoping to repel his blade. She would need some distance between them.

She would move back, the tip of her blade scraping the ground as she went. Ami would move back so that distance between them was now again three meters apart. She would sheathe her blade quickly, forming the handseals of one of the only ninjutsus she knew. "Hidden Mist..." she murmured as a thick mist would form over the field. It would be hard for both of them to see through the mist, but she had the Byakugan, which meant that at least she'd be able to see his chakra points if he didn't blow her mist away with a wind jutsu.

This was getting interesting...

Ami wasn't as prepared as she should have been as the mist surrounded the both of them. She had seen Adam move just before the mist covered but she was slow to react. her eyes would widen as she saw bullets coming at her. Her natural instinct made her draw two shuriken from her weapon pouch and throw them at the bullets. but they were no match for them as she tried to jump out of the way. Two of the bullets connected to her right shoulder, their force leaving a dent on her skin. She chided herself for being careless, as she looked at her shoulder. At least it didn't pierce her skin.

He wanted to see her clan jutsu, didn't he? Well she was going to give him the opportunity as she muttered under her breath "Byakugan", her vision instantly changing. The girl could now see Adam's chakra points as she ran towards him through the mist. The girl needed to concentrate. As she neared him, she began to build her chakra in her fingers. If this jutsu connected, she'd stop his movements, she thought. The Hyuuga would stretch out her hand, impaling his chakra flow to his side so that he would not be able to use a jutsu that had a chakra cost in the next round. Ami would go for a follow up attack if it was successful.

The Hyuuga's eye widened just a fraction as her attack connected with Adam's body, only to have his bones sprout, piercing her already injured shoulder as she was pushed back by its force. she landed harshly on the ground, blood pouring from her wound. She would ned to finish this quickly, as she winced in pain. Ami had underestimated the Kaguya, so it seemed. She wound stand up, her right hand holding her shoulder as she panted slightly. She could tell he was on the move, the mist acting only as a deterrence for the young boy. Soon the mist would fade.

Ami thought for a moment, her eyes not leaving her opponent. She watched as he tried to swing a diagonal slash using his sword, aiming at her. Ami pulled back, her chakra forming in the palms of her hand. Against any attack she knew only one jutsu that would even attempt to block it. Her arms outstretched she would spin in a circĺe, the chakra from her body creating a sphere to cover her body. She prayed that it would work. If the jutsu worked Adam would also be thrown back by the force of her chakra.
