    SG Guide | Summoning Guide

    Summoning Specialty Path

    -D-Rank Jutsu:
Buying this skill point allows you to create, learn and use D-Rank Jutsu utilizing the Summoning specialty. Once this has been bought you may now create and use these jutsu in any future topic created after buying this skill point. You may buy this point at C-Rank or higher.

    -C-Rank Jutsu:
Buying this skill point allows you to create, learn and use C-Rank Jutsu utilizing the Summoning specialty. Once this has been bought you may now create and use these jutsu in any future topic created after buying this skill point. You may buy this point at C-Rank or higher as long as you have purchased the points before this one.

    -Item Summoning:
Buying this skill allows you to designate items to be summoned. This allows you to mark certain items with a tag, then leave that item somewhere else, such as at a home (not in the topic). You can then summon that item to you regardless of its location, allowing you to instantly obtain an item you might not have entered the battle field with. This allows you to use items without them needing to be in your starting load out.

    -B-Rank Jutsu:
Buying this skill point allows you to create, learn and use B-Rank Jutsu utilizing the Summoning specialty. Once this has been bought you may now create and use these jutsu in any future topic created after buying this skill point. You may buy this point at C-Rank or higher as long as you have purchased the points before this one.

    -Second Contract:
Buying this skill allows you to make a second contract. Normal summoners can only make a contract with one animal family, such as a toad or snake, however upon earning this skill you can sign a second contract with a separate animal family, allowing you to pull forth from two different species.

    -A-Rank Jutsu:
Buying this skill point allows you to create, learn and use A-Rank Jutsu utilizing the Summoning specialty. Once this has been bought you may now create and use these jutsu in any future topic created after buying this skill point. You may buy this point at B-Rank or higher as long as you have purchased the points before this one.

    -Chakra Unity:
Buying this skill allows you to share chakra with your summons. Each summon has its own chakra pool, some being small and some being large. This skill allows those who have mastered summoning to share their chakra pools with their summons, allowing them to give the animals more chakra, or even pull chakra from the summon to refill your pool.

    -S-Rank Jutsu:
Buying this skill point allows you to create, learn and use S-Rank Jutsu utilizing the Summoning specialty. Once this has been bought you may now create and use these jutsu in any future topic created after buying this skill point. You may buy this point at A-Rank or higher as long as you have purchased the points before this one.

    -Sage Mode:
Buying this skills gives you access to Sage Mode. Sage mode is a form that a shinobi can go into once they have reached the highest form of control over a contract. They can absorb natural chakra and take on the qualities of their contract, possessing unique and powerful abilities based on their contract.

    Summoning Items
Item summoning is a simple process and while it may not seem overly powerful, it can be very helpful in the battle field. Based on the rank of the shinobi, they are allowed a certain amount of summoning tags. These tags can be placed on an item, weapon or piece of gear, then left alone in another place. The item does not need to be in the topic or even in the owners possession, as long as it still has the tag on it. The owner can use an action to summon that weapon to their person, no matter how far away it may be. The item is considered teleported, much like a fuinjutsu seal, and as such can not harm or cause damage while it is going to the owner.

-C-Rank: Can have 1 item summoning tag
-B-Rank: Can have 2 item summoning tags
-A-Rank: Can have 3 item summoning tags
-S-Rank: Can have 4 item summoning tags

    Contracts and Summons
Upon buying your first skill point in summoning, you may sign a contract with an animal family. There are open contracts already established you may join, or may create a new contract to sign. Once signed you now can summon different types of creatures from that family. These creatures have their own ranks, as well as character sheets, jutsu, stamina and chakra. They operate on their own separate from the user, and are able to aid the user in combat with things such as jutsu or weapons. When you sign a contract it must be with a single animal family, meaning if you have signed with snakes, you can not summon lizards. The only exception to this rule is if you have purchased the multiple contract perk.

You can only have one summon out at a time, however some single summons may include multiple creatures. All summons are to be considered like jutsu, where they are used as an action. While a summon is active, it will gain its own turn during your post. So you may move and take actions with both your personal character, and with the summon you have out at the moment. You do not share attributes with your summon, meaning they will have their own MPP, actions economy and set of abilities they can use. Below will be the guidelines and template for contracts and summons.

    Contracts:

Contract Species: (simply place the name of the species here, such as toad, lizard or snake.)

    Chakra Unity
Chakra unity is a unique feature that allows you to steal chakra from your summon or give a summon of yours some of your own chakra. This can be a powerful ability that allows you to use your summon to keep yourself in the battle, however it does come with some guidelines and rules.
-You can only take or give chakra to a summon that is currently out, and it must be a normal or boss summon.
-Once you take or give chakra to a summon, you can only continue to use that skill on that specific summon. You can not steal chakra from more than one summon per battle.
-It requires an action to give or take chakra, and you can only give or take 50 chakra per post that you use it.
-When a summon reaches 0 chakra, it will be unsummoned, ending the chakra unity.

    Sage Mode
Sage Mode is a unique state that master of summoning can go into. This state allows them to bond with their summoning contract, giving them physical features of the animals they signed a contract with, and allows them to draw on natural energy, giving them access to a new type of chakra. Senjutsu, or sage chakra, is a unique chakra that allows the sage to utilize jutsu that are similar to their summons, and making them extremely powerful. However there are rules and guidelines when it comes to sage mode.

-Someone can enter sage mode at anytime, however it requires an action during their post to go into sage mode.
-While in sage mode, you have access to a new, separate chakra pool, known as the sage pool. This pool can hold up to 100 sage chakra.
-You earn 10 sage chakra each post your character has remained still, meaning they did not use their movement action.
-Once the sage chakra has been earned, it does not deplete unless used on jutsu,
-Once earned, the sage chakra can be used on any jutsu, normal or sage jutsu.
-Sage chakra not be shared with summons via the chakra unity perk, and is exclusive to the shinobi.
