Onward and Beyond [Travel]

Ryojin had awoken early in the morning for this one. The sun just barely broke the horizon and he was already headed down the long road. After facing off against an enemy who was vivacious and equally powerful, he had seen what the world had in store. Where he was currently wasn't enough to protect what he believed in. The thought, the notion, it burned him just as standing in open flame would have. He was well aware that at this point, power was what was required for him to move forward. He would find power not only in himself, but in the world around him as well. He had spent this time musing to himself. How would he grow to be someone who could help others as well as himself continue to strive to move forward? No matter how he cut it, as he walked down the empty road, as the wind blew at his light coat, as the dragon shivered about, he gave forth a gentle sigh and continued his walk on. He headed from the moon village out to the barrens where he heard that there was something he needed to see. His father had told him a story of a mad man in an attempt to distract him from the idea of looking for more power than he could handle, but instead it had created a strong will to acquire something that may even be just out of his reach. That was what brought him to the barrens. That was what brought him to the very place the executioner was said to have once lived.

Ryojin could feel it now. Ryojin was no longer afraid. This had shown him what the blade could be capable of in hands that were not his. He needed to see for himself what the blade could do in his own hands. He would, much like the previous executioner, seek change, but not the loud change that slaughter brought; no. He came to the conclusion that he would seek change that brought forth the power of not only himself, but of others. He would take a blade that appeared to once have been used to cut apart this world, and instead aim to use it to bring the world back together. This was his goal. No more would this divide continue to be left to fester. He would gather the power he needed and lead this world down a road different from what it was headed down now. He had met many since his journey began and he could finally see the road ahead. The very thing he wished to do was to bring forth an era where people, regardless of who they were or where they were from, pushed themselves to be the very best version of themselves. The world would continue to turn, even if people did not. Ryojin mused to himself about his new found goals and his new found conviction. He no longer feared something he couldn't see or grasp with his own hands. He needed to look forward instead of look back. As he made his way back to the moon village, he found comfort in the idea of being someone who could be relied on.
