So much of his time was spent traveling from area to area, he wasn't really surprised when he was finally sent out to the Bloodstained Mire to investigate some weird ongoings. Of course, he was currently in the middle of traveling and hadn't actually reached the mire yet, instead making sure to take his time. Traveling with the Sun Shinobi was his usual companion, the white flying snow bunny known as Augustus 'Auggie' Nibblus. As Sojiro walked casually down the path that was starting to become overwhelmed with greenery, a soft breath would leave his lips as he looked around. Watching Auggie fly around was entertaining enough but, truth be told, he was starting to get bored. Hopefully, he would run into something or someone that could ease up his boredom.
Sojiro had a lot of time to try and think about how some of the things in his life had been going recently. The fact that he felt closer to people than ever before, all while feeling as estranged as always, was something that was conflicting. He thought back to the way he had left the hospital, leaving behind his comrades to lick their wounds and think about his words. There was some part of him that wanted to believe what he said was wrong but, that type of mentality had gotten him this far. It shouldn't stop being effective now... Right? The man would shake his head to clear the thoughts away, trying to turn his attention towards literally anything else. He didn't want to think about his friends right now.
