Details: Rumors of a tomb have been going around, a tomb that belongs to an ancient and mythical swordsman. Archeologist have been searching for the lost tomb, and have finally found hints of its whereabouts out in the Barrens. Beneath the soil, hints have been found that may lead researchers to discovering the tombs location. Due to the news, the local villages have been sending their own men to try and locate the tomb. The mission is simple, scour the region in the attempt to find something of value. (You can not find the tomb itself, but can find clues)
Requirements: Solo must make a 600 word post.
Group- Each person must post at least twice, with a 1000 word count total.
Sojiro had been traveling with Genkumaru for the better part of a week now, a trip that had been pretty good, so far. The two men had decided to head out into the Barrens to try and explore the area, see if they could find some type of information about a legendary swordsman that used to be in this area, "Tch, what a load of shit." Sojiro would complain as the two of them moved through the barren area, hills surrounding them as they moved through the area. They had been searching for a few areas in an area that were supposed to be the home to ancient ruins of sorts but there had been nothing but dirt and stray creatures so far. Sojiro would absentmindedly kick a rock as they walked, his eyes scanning the area again before letting his gaze fall onto Gen, "Did we mess up by coming out here?" He would ask his comrade, eyeing the white flying bunny that had taken a liking to the Bakuton User. The rabbit was cool to the touch and would feel good wrapped around the back of Gen's neck as he stretched out.
Sojiro was wearing his usual attire of black pants with the open Flak Jacket to match, his red bandana on his head, and keeping his hair back. Sojiro had his full equipment on his, a windmill Shuriken that hung from his side, his leather gauntlet on his left arm, and his shinobi tool pouch. Along with all these items, though, there was also a new addition to his arsenal. On Sojiro's back, there was a sword that was wrapped in a white cloth, keeping it hidden from view but it was obvious that the weapon was upside down. So that it could be drawn from underneath instead of overhead but as it stood, the bestial Shinobi had not sheathed weapon out of the cloth once during their travels.
As they came to the end of their current path, it led downwards into a small area between two large hills... And in front of them was the ruin of an old town. There were statues that were falling apart, buildings that seemed mostly collapsed, and a few other things that were hard to make out from where they were, "Tell me you see this, Gen."
