The attention! The adoration! The spotlight!
He loved it all! Hikari would stand there with his form still as he pressed his lips to make a sound, playful, and little giggle. He would take a good look the only way he could: using his twitching rabbit-esque ears on his head. They would move feeding him a bit of information. A bit of paranoia would hit him, as it would hit a rabbit, as if he was being watched; but he ignored it for now. Hikari would be smiling and primped up as he approached the ground. Just as he gotten close, he heard a dreadful little question:
"Do dogs eat bunnies?"“W-what?!” Hikari would jump and draw back his arms in fear.
“U-uh...w-what did you say? Why would you want to eat a Usagi?” The attention was on the man’s question. Although Hikari did not see him with his eyes, he did acknowledge the ridiculous question.
“Well, supposedly we are toe-tapping delicious if you are talking about the senses! Sweet to the nose for a sniff! Even soft to the touch!~” Hikari would say, pressing his finger to his cheek. The young violet haired boy’s heart would thump as he remembered something important.
“Oh!” World famous word of his, dropping from his mouth in shame. A child was here. Of all things!
“Uh...I mean...just a little recipe! Will tell you the rest of the ingredients later.” Hikari would cast his foggy eyes to the boy. It was not to see him, obviously, but rather to gesture why suddenly his tone would have a slight change. The violet rabbit would put his hand on his side as he would press against it enough so that the large cottontail on his outfit would show with a slight twist of his form.
“The sisters and I are in town,” He would explain to Kenji,
“We are doing something for Grandma BunBun. Apparently, she has a project that requires us to use our skills. I guess she wants to build something. She had that...devious look on her face.” The rabbit’s skin would crawl just thinking about his grandmother’s face. The woman would have so many plans when it came to what was in her head. Some of them were vile, such as having them post up for a night in order to increase the number of men coming into a Ramen Shop for the single sisters and mothers to talk too.
She was just evil!
“You should save what is left of your food,” Hikari would look to the young Hyuga boy once more. This time, his foggy eyes were kind.
“You do not have many left, do you? I can...umm...see them in the bag.” He would lean in pressing his lip to the boy. The rabbit-esque ears showing that the boy had a keen sense of hearing that told him just how many of the meat buns were in the bag. They watched carefully for the disheartened rhythms in the boy’s chest that were on par with a twisted expression of discontent.
Although Yami’s attention was on asking about Yami, Hikari, naturally, would not allow it for long.
“Sojiro Sakura!” The rabbit would say with a smug smile. His blue hazy orbs would peer at the boy as his voice would drop from friendly and innocent to plain assertive and flirty.
“Are you from the outer villages? Never heard your house name. Are you a part of a clan? Can I ask another question?” Tenacious in his interrogation, and driven by his clan’s natural desire and philosophy, there was no stopping him as he kept pushing forth.
The rabbit would draw closer with each step.
“Do you love it here?”With another step,
“Are you tired?”And another with his eyes growing bigger,
“Am I making you nervous?”Until he was close enough to lean to press towards his face,
“Are you single?”As usual, the rabbit was giving into his playful nature. Instantly, he forgot about the innocent child seeing this.
