"I Wish I Was Strong Enough to Lift Not One but Both of Us!"

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There was no end to the folly of a certain clan of rabbit-eared women…

Darkness had long consumed the sky after the sun would drop. The explosion of twilight colors had long subsided like a gentle flame beyond the horizon. Only when the darkness would truly reach its pinnacle and radiant diamonds sparkled into the sky with every twinkle, it was then that they would take to the streets. Like a siren’s song, no one would be spared whenever they were within ear shot. Even from afar, they would be slowly pulled to the center plaza of the Moon Village. They would fall for the perfect pitch in both song and advertisement as the center of the village became infested with fun and merriment.

It was the perfect crime, at least if someone was hurt. Though the audience willingly would give themselves away to the melody of a lone bunny laying her back to one of the clothed crates with a cushion under her slightly exposed and supple hind. Her amethyst eyes would be gazing to the scene of the villagers that were passing by going to the many stands where sweets were served, ramen was piping hot, and little games would be had where prizes could be won. The Festival of Rebirth was ravenous with fun, and the Usagi Clan who would position themselves by boothes and stands would act as saleswomen as they would wave, call, and even kiss the cheek of a passing man to put them under their spell and persuade them to give a game a go!

But Hikari was not going to do any of that…

“Honestly,” The lilac haired child had seen none of it with his eyes, and he was grateful he was blind. He could still hear his clan’s sisters laughing and parading on with their voices. “I-I know Akane-chan said there was nothing wrong with being pretty, but-” Hikari was cut off by the faux laughter and the chiming pockets of Ryo that would follow soon after. It was obvious that the girls were spitting out their best lines as they would walk around on the cobblestone plaza. The shape of a crescent moon under his feet would be ignored for all it was worth as he could hear the sounds of his merry sisters. Sure, Akane had a point, but she had clearly never met the Usagi Clan.

If Grandmother were around, she would be proud of her daughters.

Though, Hikari did not care for any of this. He was doing his due diligence as just walking about in his clan’s attire. They would wear the secure padded mesh that slightly exposed their legs through the leather and weave fabric that was thin at the thighs. For the Usagi, a cottontail had been sewn onto the black bottoms. He balanced himself on his iron Regaria as he walked as if balance was not an issue at the very least Then there was the top of his zipped up mesh and pads that secured his body. As usual, he would choose one of his kimonos that would weave around his upper body. The sleeves were Ofurisode style as they would wave through the air like bright lavender wings and his torso was patterned with white blossoms that raced around him.

“I-I suppose I should make myself useful,” He frowned slightly, “If I do not, my grandmother will not allow him to hear the end of it.” Hikari would say this while walking around the plaza looking for the nearest tourist. His foggy eyes were useless in this matter as he would rely on the rabbit-esque ears that were lifting from his lilac hair that hid the band. He would step carefully as he would muse a song to himself. He had not been his usual mood to dance and sing, but he would take the advice of his friends and try to be his normal self today.

If that could be enough...he would have to see.

See No Evil [Hear Your Soul] Empty Re: See No Evil [Hear Your Soul]

Post by Setsuka Sat May 16, 2020 2:02 am

A special night is tonight for the festivals has begun once again. The urging hunger of fresh cooked meal by others became the target for his young woman dressed in a pure black kimono with yellow and white butterflies dancing around her sleeves to contrast the color of the darkness present and display a most merry expression of freedom. The young woman walked alone through the crowds with the sounds of her wooden black sandals clicking with each step. She stared onto the crowd as any other day she would stroll down the streets of the village. Many of the villagers she passed by would not take notice of her, ignored her, or become infatuated with her while drunk by shouting in her direction with intended perverse. Any moment the young woman would face in the direction of these individuals many backed off or remained silent as they saw her dreadful expression. Her eyes piercing through them in a simple gaze that caused many to scurry and scatter back into the seemingly sea of villagers passing by.

The woman's name was Setsuka Kishida and she was often avoided by many who caught a glimpse of her expression. When she was younger they teased her snake eyes but she held no resentment towards anything in the past. Instead she remained lost in her own cloud of thoughts. Wondering why many men approached her only to quickly leave her alone. Women hardly approached her either unless it was for selling products but many didn't engaged far beyond just that. Setsuka merely blinks as a man with flushed bright cheeks approached her only to be stopped by his fellow company of other men to pull him aside from Setsuka. "Don't you dare man! She would most likely kill you before anything else!" One of them yells. Dragging his friend away as he bumps into Setsuka. She momentarily loses her balance , taking a few steps back as she lets out a very feint gasp. Her hands reached out to her sides and they took a hold of an unfamiliar touch. Something warm, soft? Setsuka's hand began to message a soft warm figure, and her eyes widen a bit as she kept touching the warm surface. It felt as a face and as she turned she noticed it was indeed a face.

The palm of her hand pressed up against the nose as her fingers trails across the cheekbones, the forehead, and the temple. Before she knew what she was doing to the person Setsuka found herself intrigued by this. It was her first time touching someone's face. Her claws at each fingertip lightly pressed against the skin, revealing their sharpness. Setsuka's eyes remained wide still as she continues to look at the stranger with his lilac hair and seemingly causing him to mutter through her palm only for a moment as she might have interrupted him on some venture. Her initial thought became, ' This person appears familiar, I've seen him a few times.. Is this alright? ' She squeezed her hand gently against his face in pure wondering bliss.

"I Wish I Was Strong Enough to Lift Not One but Both of Us!"

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Starry nights and alcohol had brought the worst out of some people. Hikari was no stranger to the spirits as the Usagi trained their young ones when they would come of age. It was as important as knowing to throw a Kunai as most arrogant males would think they could drink a Usagi under the table or at least to the point of not giving a valid answer. She would tell stories about how the age of the Gods were so cruel, according to her own Grandmother, and how they needed to rely on it as a survival instinct. The festival tonight would have the same fabled tones: the shrewdness, the drinking, and even the arrogant calls.

He was used to them, but yet, his ears would make out that there was something unusual afoot. They did not seem to be particularly aimed in his direction. He would know! A rabbit was sensitive to the sounds! There was not usually a warning about “being killed” lest the rowdy men had met with his other Clan Mother from whom he was named after. Before he could even answer his own question and see who these men were so frightened of, he would quickly whip his hands out. A Usagi Clan trait was to remain balanced at all times! His ears would twitch on his head as he would reach to balance the figure that neared his direction and then as she would steady he would feel...

    feel...something...something...what was this?

“O-oh dear!” His world famous word passing through his head, “T-this is...different.” Usually the clan was known for being perverse and somewhat violating in some regards. This once, Hikari felt like that the figure that was touching him was well beyond, what a futuristic analogy would call “first base,” though the boy was so nervous he was not sure whether to think of this as some kind of custom or perhaps this person had the terrible eyes of this clan. However, he would have to stop this for his own sake.

“U-umm...excuse me,” His rabbit-esque ears would twitch on his head. With her so close, her pulse gave away her details to the point that the boy’s face would erupt with a volcanic shade of color, “U-umm….Ma’am, A-are you okay?” Hikari would finally notice that it was indeed a woman that was touching him. “U-umm...according to my grandmother, if you were to keep touching me in such a way, I will have to char-mmmm-fff-ugh!” The rest of it was gibberish under her palm as she kept moving her hands across his face. It was probably best seeing as the woman did not have the best advice to handle such situations.

This had proceeded well among a simple greeting! This was officially affection...for one of them...right? Hkari was unsure as this had never happened before. His hands reaching to hers as he would be certain to lay his palms atop of her own. His hazy, blue eyes that were full of fog that blinded him would stare clearly through the woman unfocused as ever. “M-may I have your name at least, p-please?” He would ask desperately trying to know her before she would continue any further. After all, his clan had been nearby, and the last thing he needed them to assume that he was being frisky. Especially since they would join in and inquire with that silly, perverse grin on their faces!

His kinswomen were those kinds of bunnies, but Hikari was not going to give it up so easily! By “it” meaning his boundaries and his face!

Another light squeeze was given to the boy's face. His words slowly pulled Setsuka back into reality as she momentarily stopped squishing his face. Her head tilts to the right as her eyes calmly closed for a moment. Its been a while since someone wished to know her name. She continued to rub his face with her palm as her eyes widen again only for her to grip his head now, ignoring his hand on hers and moving ahead of her own will. Her fingers felt his soft hair along while pushing down on his bunny-like ears. "Setsuka Kishida." She answered with a straight face and low soft tone. The surrounding crowds of people began to stare as Setsuka kept touching the boy's ears in a very curious manner. Some would stop momentarily or remain puzzled with seeing Setsuka's actions. With her hand out of the way from his face she took notice of the color of his eyes and immediately reached with both her hands in an attempt to grab his wrists firmly with a gentle touch to them. She would guide his hands onto her face; placing her own hands on top of the surface of his own metacarpals. Where she could lightly press against his knuckles and having him trail his own palms to feel the light warmth of her cheeks and allowing his fingers to caress other areas of her face. Setsuka did not smile, nor did she frown. She remained quiet and carrying a subtle expression.

"I adore... Your kimono.", she tried to say politely but it would come off almost as predatory to some of those in the crowd and perhaps even the boy. She would gulp wondering if the conversation would continue. She began to feel lightly anxious that began to make her stare at the boy more like prey than someone to befriend. ' Shit..! Don't freak out, just try to be normal! ', she thought to herself. In truth she wasn't acting normal and she was amazed at how he was able to tell Setsuka was a woman which encouraged her to proceed with her actions to give the boy an accurate detail. She immediately added on, "Not many make the Ofurisode sleeves look well placed. I for one, am wearing the Furisode style." Her crimson eyes only intensified looking in the direction of the boy while unknown to her, causing some fright in the crowds that would begin to draw more attention to themselves.

Whatever it was that relaxed her had been brought to Hikari’s attention. He would listen and her subtle movements with her body. With her so close now, it might as well have been her moving in slow motion for Hikari to see everything. Her hand on his face would keep her pulse right to his body as if it was his own. Her heart’s change of pace and slightest of thumps was his to interpret anyway he could with her like this. Though, with her also so close, it meant that his own heart would not stop beating quickly to focus enough on those emotions.

    “I-I am...not used to this.”

His emotions were so erratic! His Grandmother warned him about this, but he would just assume she was being her usual and silly self! Beyond all those vague and silly quips and quibbles She would brag about how a “woman’s touch was something paralyzing and could sway a man in moments.” The sensation itself was changing his mind in many ways as he found himself being accustomed to it. It was only when she guided his hands to her own face, Hikari would be stunned as he would keep them still. Any slight slide would probably be welcomed with dissatisfaction. Though, she would do the guidance which brought him his face to burn in crimson shades several times over.

    Did she say her name?

Well...moments ago. With her touch so prevalent and her own hand guiding him so, Hikari was lost in the warmth of her touch to the point that whatever surname he would hear would be echoed. He tried to recall her name clearly, but he would simply know of pieces. It would not be as well known as her flesh and that subtle face of hers that was so unyielding to his own touch. Soon enough, he would know his grandmother’s other warning as his rabbit-esque ears would hear something else.

    "I adore... Your kimono."

He swallowed. “Be careful of a woman’s words along with their touch,” was a lesson that echoed in his mind from wicked and wild rabbit, but it was no use. His mind was gone and the compliment along with that soft skin was overtaking him. “Y-you do?” He answered mesmerically. He would hear her continue on, explaining her Kimono-style. “O-oh! Yes! I can tell!” He smiled warmly, “I can hear it. The women of my clan, they wear these all the time as a symbol of elegance. I am used to hearing the sound of the fabric in the air as someone moves. We dance wearing such fabrics so I can tell you are wearing it well!” His feminine and perky voice returned in full glory as he felt alleviation from talking about something that interested him. Little did he know, he had been ensnared.

“Set-suka...Ki-shida, yes?” He had spoken brokenly trying to remember her name. His crystal blue orbs focused on her. As he said this, his hand would continue to move along her face. His hand was unguided as he became fond of the sensation of her face. “My name...is Hikari Usagi. I-It is nice to meet y-?” Before he knew it, Hikari noticed his right hand and what it had been doing. It had reached his fingers along her neck as the digits had touched just along under his ear. His thumb was feeling that supple place upon her cheek as he was cusping her as if she was his in the sensual sense.

He knew this type of touch. His clan used this on others all the time!

“Ah!” Hikari would draw back his hands, both of them! “S-sorry!”

He would swallow, “I-I am so sorry! I-I did not mean to touch you like th-”

He paused, “Not that I meant to touch you and feel y-...err...not that it was bad, but you felt goo-”

His lips pressed shut. It was probably best to stop talking right now...and so he did.

"Hikari Usagi.", she repeated after him. She continues to apply gentle pressure against his hands until she came to a quick halt. His hands touched places no one has ever touched before nor in the manner in how he touched her. Each movement of his electrified her sensation, sending waves of a thrilling feeling. Yet her heart kept steady, beating composed and within normal range around seventy beats per minute. Before Hikari would pull away her hands found themselves trailing away towards his wrists, gently caressing them in a welcoming and gentle manner. Accepting his way of touch without debate or hesitation. The young boy's voice shook her away from these stimulations once he began to plea for forgiveness.

Setsuka remained puzzled and lost. Did she do something wrong again? She wasn't sure anymore but she was able to piece together his broken sentences as clear as day. "If it felt good, why did you stop? Why are you apologizing?", she says sweetly, "Was I mistaken in our introduction? Or... Could it be because of me?" Setsuka slowly retracted her arms to cross against her bosom, holding herself securely as she observed him. The crowds began to move along with their lives and the continuous buzz of the plaza no longer warranted their main attraction for both Hikari and Setsuka. Only a few leering around them now. She took noticed of this and sighs as her eyes dart around Hikari before focusing on him again. "It was me after all.", she spoke aloud to herself and overthinking the situation she placed herself in. "I should be the asking your forgiveness after all. Not you."

"I Wish I Was Strong Enough to Lift Not One but Both of Us!"

    Steadfast. Unmovable. Not dead.

It was a strange combination along his finger tips. Hikari swore that her flesh had such inviting warmth even if her body was nothing short of cold by just how lifeless it remained on the exterior. He had swallowed as the absence of fear was within her. He had not ever felt the heartbeat of a woman like this who was unshaken. To say that it grasped his intrigue was an understatement. It had given him a reason to crumble, fall to pieces, and try to pick up the words as if he was fumbling them about and turning them like a puzzle with no matching edges. There was just no proper way to explain this sensation or excuse his behavior.

"If it felt good, why did you stop? Why are you apologizing?"

Infallible logic! Hikari’s heart fluttered as if he was hearing words that he himself would use. He could remember it so long ago, the previous weeks, as he would do what he desired. There had been no consideration of the others. He thought his pretty looks and his grace were to charm and put them at ease. The Usagi Clan and their pride was in his heart and he secured it there just as he would press his hands to his chest. His eyes would eventually fall from the young woman’s as he could not give an answer; at least not one that he was proud of.

Was it her? Far from it! Hikari’s blue eyes would perk up to look upon the woman in vain. Not a glimpse of her face, but her voice and tone were in his ears as her emotions were conveyed through it all. His lips trembled as he wanted to say something, but she seemed to be making sense of it all deeply. Her words were something akin to his own, but much swifter! She thought about her actions and the effect they had on someone. Her contemplation, her apology, and even her sorrow? It was all so sweetly done unlike himself who sulked and moped as if he lost all his composure over the previous week.

He knew now what he had to say.

“No!” He would declare strongly, saying the words he wished someone would say to him, “You have nothing to be sorry about! I-I...adored your touch and you speaking so kindly to me. I...never had that…at least not by a woman. N-not like that. It was...pleasant. But I just...do not want to do anything to make someone who treats me such a way uncomfortable! E-even if I do something that feels so good for myself.” His face had a sweet smile of pure bliss. He had even reached his own hand to his face swearing that he could feel her touch. A dreamy expression, as if the woman was a fancy, had caused his lips to part as if he was going to utter for a second like a child beckoning for more. However, he knew restraint.

“Umm...Setsuka-san, yes?” He would speak in his family’s native tongue for asking questions a second time in order. His blue eyes straying away, but the rabbit ears would wildly move as if in excitement, “C-can I perhaps...escort you today? I-It is...a Usagi Clan member for a job to make sure people are happy, b-but…” What was he trying to say? It was such an alien feeling, but yet he had done this a hundred times and a hundred more after he became of age. His nostrils would flare as his body relaxed and the words would flow.

“Would you allow me to be by your side as your personal bunny today?”

Escort? Setsuka head tilts to the left being very puzzled. "Eh?", she said very low in tone and was even startled at his sentence! What was he on about? This word, could it mean he wished to.. Pleasure her? Her mouth slowly opens, revealing her fangs as she was quite shocked at what was asked. She could only find herself extremely flustered at the question! No she had to regain control of herself! Closing her mouth she blinks a few more times before grabbing the young boy's hand again. Only this time more firmly as she interlocks her fingers with his. "You'll have to treat me to some ramen then.", she responded with her usual confidence, however, she was still uncertain what he meant by escorting her.

Setsuka would tug on his hand as she quickly would whisk them away into the sea of crowds but in a upbeat fashion, for Setsuka despite being flustered by his offer was indeed happily joyous to have the company she hardly receives any other day! Hikari would gain notice with the way she was holding his hand and bolting through the crowds, almost bumping into many strangers and their companions. It was a rush Setsuka has not felt in so long! They would immediately find themselves at a ramen shop where Setsuka would look over at Hikari. "This place isn't expensive but has great quality ramen in my opinion. She spoke aloud as she dragged the poor devil into the shop as the place only had very few customers despite the uproar of the plaza being active. The establishment held only bar stools and the bar table for its customers to dine on. The eagerness in Setsuka would lead them to sit down at the bat where a waitress would come by asking what it'll be.

"I'll take the usual, vegetarian ramen please.", Setsuka responded just as quickly when asked. Her composure had returned and she felt right with the world again. The thoughts of what Hikari's intentions almost became nonexistence until she realized their hands remained together interlocked. She liked this feeling and continued to rub her fingers against his without her claws cutting him in such a gentle manner. Setsuka would stare at the waitress and the menu, giving her glances not to focus on Hikari... She wasn't sure she could face him despite knowing from her observation he could not see well but all his other sense definitely could pick the trail of her uneasiness of the matter. It was the first time she would dine with the company of someone. Secretly she was happy but also terrified. The thought of this caused her body to quiver only a little, and he would definitely notice it.

"You know we’re superstars! We are who we are!"

Would she reject him? Had he outlived his use to her?

The Usagi never really felt such a feeling as he would ask these things. Even her low tone was discomforting as throughout their meeting, she seemed consistent. Her body and posture only moving so slight at this one nudge. It could have gone either way, gripping his chest, as he passionately wanted this! This woman who had approached him and taken an interest in style and clothing and not simply the fact that he was a rabbit. Her touch was warm and he would invite it many times without tire as if his face and body was an open door. Once again, letting it in, her touch would move to intertwine with his fingers and lock as he felt nothing short of joy to have that sensation once again.

"You'll have to treat me to some ramen then."

“O-okay!” He would respond without hesitation, “Whatever you desire!” With that, she swept him away into an endless sea of bodies with no faces. Many of them were turning their necks and craning more than usual. Seeing a Usagi paired with someone was not an alien thing in the Moon Village, but to see that particular one? It would likely be a story to tell! The boy would quickly move as the iron soles would hammer at the cobblestone plaza. Eventually each seismic sound would familiarize him with the place they were around as he had been to this ramen shop several times before.

"This place isn't expensive but has great quality ramen in my opinion.”

“Oh?” Hikari’s tone was almost mischievous as he sounded as if he was expecting her to say such a thing was expected, “We will not have to worry about that!” Confidently he would say this, seating himself next to the woman with no choice in the matter. His hand still woven with hers as if they were two beautiful pieces of cloth stitched together. He would lean with his superior balance just to brush his shoulder with her own, his head leaning to the young woman as he seemed to muse a little playful tune. He ended the hum with three distinct notes before allowing his head to fall in a tilt to reveal his sapphire jewels to her. They saw nothing, but he flashed them for the appeal as he was trained to.

“Setsuka-san,” The boy called her name with the tone of a siren, “You are so composed! I cannot tell how you feel right now with such a heartbeat.” A smile stretching across his face. “I love it...so much.” his fingers grasping hers affectionately as he held them in place. “Are you perhaps a shinobi, Setsuka-san? Not many can hide their heart from us rabbits after all!” He would say with utter delight. He would motion close, balancing himself on the edge of his bar stool.

She was interesting and it could not be denied that he had an utter fascination with her. She wasted no time desiring to allow him to be around her and she did not say much. She acted on her impulses and even questioned why had he not? Structure was not a thing for the rabbits as it meant nothing short of a lack of freedom. Family was the only structure they needed, and friends were all the same as they were nothing short of family who would help them in their indulgence or let them steer them well as if given the reigns. To Hikari, Setsuka had become just that for tonight as he had become smitten with her forward and blunt manner without sugar coating her own desires.

The waitress, whether she cut in and kept him from an answer or not, he would answer twice if he had to. His sapphire orbs would remain consistent sitting there for the young woman to have. He turned not an inch of his neck to look to the waitress.

"I'll take the usual, vegetarian ramen please."

“Two, please?” He would follow behind Setsuka’s order, The Usagi loved their vegetables. “Please, put it on my tab!!” The little rabbit would smile charmingly after doing so. After long the woman would follow etiquette bowing and dismissing herself, leaving Hikari to explain. “The Usagi always bring in the business,” he would exclaim, “A good hour of work in any place with our presence increases business! You will not have to worry about such things like this as long as you are with your bunny tonight, Setsuka-san!” He would let his fingers playfully twiddle between her own before securing them slowly along her hand.

He promised security with a gentle grasp.

See No Evil [Hear Your Soul] Empty Re: See No Evil [Hear Your Soul]

Post by Setsuka Sat May 30, 2020 6:37 am

A first for the woman it was! Someone finally treating her for once! Setsuka became almost close to losing her cool. The words that came out his appearing delicate lips felt refreshing too, and in a sense released any mischievous thoughts about what he had said much earlier before their arrival at the establishment. The amount of promise in his voice rung a sweet chord for Setsuka. The mysterious emotion that had eluded her for so long began to creep into her. Here, someone was enjoying her company in the only place she could call her home. Setsuka's fingers gently rub against Hikari's very much like newly found treasure.

All this mentioning about bunnies and the Usagi clan makes Setsuka's eyebrows lift in amusement. The thought quickly skirmishes in her mind with what she knew from her observations around the village like a ghost. Recalling nights were very lively for the rabbit-eared folk, especially the women with men. Many a time she has become interested in partaking what they truly offered the village since it made few very merry. From older men, young men, and few women in between. Setsuka realizes her own merry with this particular bunny. The thought of it only lasting for tonight did stir a fright in her. The start of something anew could ignite of her own desire for company each night, starting tonight.

The warmth of his head leaning against her for only a moment causes her to pause in her thoughts and awareness of her own surroundings, taking in the gesture with high regard. However it was broken the minute he flashed his eyes at her. Setsuka had already deciphered his eyes could not see and in so allowed him to touch her for recognition. A soft sigh escapes her crimson lips as she stares into the empty sapphire void in return. He was genuinely kind in her eyes however, the stare was unnatural to her senses. "I am a shinobi of this village.", she replies calmly. She did not blink between their unnatural gaze. Setsuka's grip tightens firmly before bringing his hand to caress her right cheek. "Mayhap this would suffice better, Hikari." Her heart began to sank with waves of uncertainty with the company of excitement. If he could feel her correctly he would most likely find the traces of her skin standing up with goosebumps. . . "Since you cannot see that is.", Setsuka states confidently while looking where his soft gentle hand with no signs of true wear and tear would touch her next.

"For better or worse; I got you!"

Such a stroke of the fingers! Was she smitten with him? Bursts of red would come to Hikari as if paint had been spilled upon his cheeks and stopped there perfectly. Artistic cherry shades on vanilla skin that could melt like cold cream under her delicate warm touch. The blue eyes may have been a priceless treasure to show like jewelry, but by the moment, they were working too well. The woman was treating him like treasure! Vanity was nothing compared to the sensual touch of his skin as she seemed to have an adoration for his very being. Hikari’s compression was lost before her and he feared that he would never be found.

His predictions were right nonetheless. A piece of her remained a mystery due to her nature as a shinobi. They had such calm hearts, even before they would draw a blade and commit a most foul murder for the sake of their village. The Usagi, dangerous little rabbits by their promiscuity, were naturally attracted to the militia of the land. Their pockets were full of pay to squander and their time between duties was little. The Usagi would fill their cups to the brim with potent potables and would empty it free of any loneliness. It was a give and take relationship that was built on vanity. However, they saw themselves as a necessary evil in a world of danger. Even if it was a false love, it was still one that was much needed in these crazy times.

Hikari would be that to this shinobi, but much more than he even realized. Her touch was something that he yearned for as she was less perverse and more cherishing. More everlasting than evanescent. For that, he would remain close in proximity. His hands close enough to be there for an embrace if she needed it...or perhaps he? A boundary that he destroyed in a heartbeat for this shinobi who spoke with eloquence and moved as an enigma in her actions. Even now, she would take her hands, placing them upon her face as she allowed for the rabbit to touch her right cheek.

“Oh?” His world famous word pouring out his mouth sweetly like honey for the ears, “Setsuka-san is right. Now I can see her just fine.” Hikari’s thumb would move once more and his fingers crept along her neck. That fiendish sensation returning to hold her face as if a lover would. It was almost like a dirty little sin for his clan to have their fingers close to the arteries that were rich with blood and pulsed with rhythms. Just as his hand was about to lift, he would pause. Breathing, he remembered what had happened last time when he would be so hasty to move his digits out of fear. She became bemused from his indecisive moment and even asked him a question he had no answer for. His expression was visible with hesitance, washing away, a smile would come and his hand would remain to have his thumb stroking her cheek and he would hold her as if she was his to have.

This sensation of her skin. This placement. He liked it.

“Setsuka-san is...excited? Scared?” His blue eyes became a gentle lully as if he could go to sleep holding her in such a way. ”So interesting! This rabbit feels the same. After all…” His head would tilt downward as unknowingly, the blue jewels for eyes would catch the glow of the paper lanterns that were strung about. His voice was low but had a hint of excitement. “...this rabbit...may be having his first crush right now.” he would sweetly confess to the kunoichi. It was a Usagi’s duty to be comforting, create a feeling of high regard and value in whomever they were with.

However, even for Hikari, he was going beyond his duty. Unconsciously he would follow through on his affectionate and playful adoration. Bowls of ramen would come to the sight of the two as Hikari had not moved an inch giving the impression that they were on a date. Piping columns of broth and pasta would weave in the bowl along a medley of vegetables. Slowly, he would allow his hands to move from her cheek, caressing as they dragged from her neck, to the shoulder, and eventually her collarbone before they would lift and place them upon the chopsticks upon the table.

Part of him wanted to let them linger. Regretfully, he already missed the sensation of her skin as he would substitute it with the press of his digits along the chopsticks.

See No Evil [Hear Your Soul] Empty Re: See No Evil [Hear Your Soul]

Post by Setsuka Fri Jun 26, 2020 11:13 pm

Never had Setsuka imagined herself sitting so late out at one of her favorite establishment with company. The mere thought of it overjoys her so much that she couldn't help but genuinely smile. The manner of her smile crept up on her and appears more of a sinister smirk to others passing by, able enough to glance at her expression. Her breathing came and gone in high intakes each time Hikari touched her, she wasn't used to anyone else touching her so casually as he did. A bolt of goosebumps come and go with each touch of her skin again and again. Her mind lost itself to time; becoming dazed in her own worrisome world by having him by her side. Clink. The sound of bowls touching the surface in front of her drew her back to reality. She unknowingly remained quiet to Hikari's words until he touched her again, somewhere new no one has before. The collarbone. Setsuka's body shivers momentarily just as she felt his touch as she reached to grab the chopsticks. It was all unusual and new. Her eyes would dart down at Hikari whom appears to be enjoying himself from her own observation. She bit her lower lip as she watches him and took a small amount of courage to speak up.

"Hikari...", she spoke softly as she snaps the wooden chopsticks apart. Placing them appropriately in between her right fingers."You have a crush on me? What do you mean by this phrase?", she asks curiously. Swirling the noodles with her chopsticks in the hot bowl counterclockwise as her eyes remain focus on the swirl of the liquid and its contents. An uneasiness begins to slowly swirl in her heart much like the soup. Setsuka's eyes peeks back and forth between the bowl and Hikari. Her mind slowly began to piece the information together as to why he joined her. Did she force the situation again, she would wonder. Wondering what she was doing anymore. The smirk of hers slowly faded away, appearing more pouting than anything as she stares solely on the food. Her right index finger slightly flinches by retracting back, causing her claw to scratch at the surface of the chopstick she holds. Her heart beat remained very much in control but the feeling inside was not well.

Readjusting herself she leans forward near her bowl with her eyes focusing on the food. Twirling the chopsticks around the noodles before picking them up from the steamy hot liquid. The broth smells exquisite today for her. Her left hand comes up and holds her long strand of hair aside from her crimson lips. Her mouth slowly opens widely, revealing to all her uncanny fangs as she takes a bite and slurps the noodle against her lips, it was a mouthful for her but she swallowed it whole with minor chewing. Immediately swallowing the chunk of noodles with ease. She was used to this. A soft 'mmm', sound eludes her and comforts her uneasiness from before. Setsuka looks at Hikari and before he could explain himself she grins at him. "I see you're more bold to touch me than you were just a few moments ago when I dragged you here. Careful where you touch little rabbit.", she teased him jokingly and yet it sounds more as a subtle warning more than just a joke. Setsuka wasn't sure how else to open conversation. But then it hit her in the face, literally.

"Come to think of it, I wonder what your clan is like. I always see them becoming friendly with everyone. Especially these past couple days.", she speaks indirectly for conversation.

"I’ve Gone For Too Long, Living like I’m not alive!"
“So I’m gonna start over tonight!”

"You have a crush on me? What do you mean by this phrase?"

A crush? Fond of? Even a liking to? These were phrases that the Usagi would pass between themselves as they talked idly. Chatter would be between them as they talked about interests like targets in a Bingo Book. The only thing that Hikari had not quite heard was “love.” It was something dismissed and would be scattered into the winds of a stormy conversation. A twister of teasers, temptations, and all of the like spoken by the clan. However, Hikari would not be engrossed in such things! He had the charm of his people with the heart of a helpless romantic swept into the hope of getting away from the clan’s nature.

“W-well,” Fingers still as his strands of lilac hair would stray. His blue orbs clouded to not see her form would focus on her sweet voice. “It is...nothing as intense as one word, but nothing impure as another.” He would begin to explain. His other fingers playing across his lips as he would think about the words that come to mind. “Rather...if I could say, I am quite enamored with you as a person, so much so...that I want to know of you more personally than your voice and your touch, yes?”

Innocent or not, it all would come with a warning, his hands would draw back as uncertainty would take hold and shake him. “O-Oh!” World famous word of his slipping from between his lips as he almost felt as if everything he knew was wrong. “Y-yes. Sorry...Setssuka-san.” Was it perhaps the wrong pressure? The wrong stroke? Maybe even the wrong words that would come with it? He had not rehearsed as he believed he would not need such a thing like the clasman. It was more of interest to him and no sport as it was for them. Hikari desired to show that affection, a liking he had for someone that caught his interest. Although, from how his voice would quickly fade and his fingers would instead take a careful interest in the chopsticks, he had failed to convey it with touch and words.

The ramen would be his comfort. His fingers of his right hand showing nothing short of the dexterity of a monk rather than a shinobi. Carefully, they would twirl the noodles before slipping them between his lips. The broth would not escape from the moist strands as he would slurp quickly and swallow both the food and his defeat of his confidence before the young woman. His boldness subsided, he would simply try to stir their intimate conversation towards somewhere more innocent...or at least he would try. It was then that Setsuka’s lips would part, asking something that shook his foundation.

“Y-you mean...you do not kn-” He stopped. Did he misunderstand? Did she misunderstand? The chopsticks would drop to make a sudden chime as Hikari would take his hands and weave them along his chest. He would try to stop his heart from beating rapidly. A fear that was next to primal as his instincts had not known what to make of this. She had touched him. Sampling him perhaps? That is what he had thought! Then there was this dining! Formal for a lady, or so his grandmother had taught him. He had prepared for this! He told himself if someone as gentle as she asked of him, he did not mind. But now...he thought himself a fool.

His lip hanging as he found a word to answer her question. “W-well, in a word....” He would try to cover up this misunderstanding. “E-entertainment.” He would simply say.

His face flushing red. Now he was a liar and an ashamed courtesan who thought himself crushing on a customer.
