Appearance:
Sojiro Sakura stands at a tall six feet and one inch tall but has adopted a slouched stance in his youth, giving him the appearance of five feet and 10 inches instead. His body is lean and tone, with a soft tan from his time in the desert. His attire can change from day to day but his most common outfit is a sleeveless shift with a zipper down the front. A constant in his attire is his red bandanna, the only thing from his past, and now also where the metal plate of his village rests.

Sojiro can come off as rash and standoffish... But that's not entirely the case. Having spent most of his life away from society, the youth has a deep survival instinct carved into his soul. Because of this he can make clean headed decisions in stressful situations, even if it is the hard choice... And he can do it without a second thought. The seven years in the village with his adoptive father has taught him the importance of people's lives to a degree, crafting a more sentimental side of Sojiro, as well as a sense of humor.

History:
Some time ago members of the Inuzuka Clan had retracted themselves and took refuge into the Sun Scorched Desert. During this time, the members of this group had begun to starve in the desert and eventually had to turn to eating their faithful companions. They were able to survive because of this and the next generation of this new group of people had adopted more canine like physical abilities and dark lines beneath their eyes. They would adopt the new name Inukura. They would live as nomads in the desert, slowly dwindling in numbers over generations until there was one boy born of the last family.
That person was Shin Inukura, black haired youth. He was the first born child of Hitomi and Rinmoku Inukura, and their only as far as he knows. His childhood was forged through hardships and survival until he was twelve years old, though a terrible season and their family starting to starve out. His parents decided that the only way for their child to survive was to take him to the growing Sun Village. It was on this travel that his mother had ended up passing away, leaving only Shin and his father. Eventually Shin would succumb to heat stroke and when he woke up again, he was in the comfort of a bed inside of the village. There was no sign of his father and the reports of his appearance was that he was alone at the gate of the village.
During his rehabilitation back to health, he was taken under the doctor Ren Sakura. He was a proficient medical shinobi that had retired to a life at the hospital. It was during this time that the two of them had formed some type of bond, that would end in Ren adopting Shin. Shin had refused to give his name up to this point, so his adoptive father would rename him Sojiro Sakura. And from that moment on, a new shinobi of the village was born!
Sojiro Sakura was a terrible student during the academy, needing to learn from his father before even being able to attend. To this day, some words still give the youth a hard time. But with a struggle he would eventually pass school and become a Genin of the Sun Village! As Sojiro grew up, he would train himself in Taijutsu thanks to his natural physical ability. Ren would also teach Sojiro how to use Medical Ninjutsu, helping the youth attempt to create different type of combinations for his way of fighting. It's been twelve years since Sojiro had been brought into the village and, while he has gotten the hang of most things, handling people is still a difficult thing.
