Wild Animal Attack [Group] [Mission]

The green haired Hyuuga would make her way down the main streets of Gekkousato, her mind thinking about the mission ahead of her. She had only just finished a solo mission, which wasn't entirely too difficult. She had then gone back and asked to be contacted in case there were other missions available. Not only did she want to kill time, the girl found herself enjoying them after completing her first one. And now she was about to do another one -- but with another shinobi.

Ami didn't mind that too much as she also didn't have many friends. Ever since graduating from the academy, which she realized was so many years ago, all her friends were doing their own things. Some joined Genin teams, some chose to focus on a specialty like medical jutsus. She missed seeing her friends, finding the Hyuuga compound big and empty didn't help matters either. Many of her clan shinobi were always out and about or vigorously training day in and day out.

She would reach the jungle at that moment. Ami had received a mission about a wild animal attack and that she was to be paired with a younger Genin. Age rarely mattered although she did like to work with people around the same age as her. She wondered with interest who it was and hoped without even having set eyes on this person that they could be friends. She walked deeper, surrounded by a forest of trees. She had never been here before so it peaked her interest even more. She would find a young boy sitting on a log ahead. At first glance he looked very young.

"Hello, are you waiting for someone?" she would ask with a big smile on her face as she walked closer to the boy. Ami had never seen him before, not even around the village. The Hyuuga was wearing her usual attire consisting of a simple black dress stopping above her knees. She carried her katana in her left hand. No other accessories were to be seen on her person. She had thought that jewelry was probably not the most practical thing to wear on a mission. To match her dress she wore black leather high-heeled boots. Nothing fancy, but one could tell she was a girl who cared about her appearance.

Ami wouldn't be phased by the expressionless face of Adam. She was used to all kinds of people, especially what she would call moody children. As he jumped up, the girl noticed how young he really was. She automatically took a liking to the Kaguya, ignoring the fact that he may not share the same sentiment. The girl would listen to his words and study him more closely, noticing how calm and collected he was, a little surprising for his age, which she guessed to be around ten to twelve.

The Hyuuga would walk beside Adam, hearing him mention his family name as Kaguya. Ami knew about the clan in the village although she admitted she knew very little about it. Her ignorance to other clans was not intentional but still it made her feel slightly uneasy. Ami was surprised when he called her by her family name but then realized that their clan trait wasn't exactly easy to ignore. Sometimes she wished she didn't have lavender colored eyes. They seemed so ominous even to her. "Ami Hyuuga. And let's do this!"

It was quite an enthusiastic response, slightly comical to anyone who heard her. She wanted to lift the tension and sensed that perhaps Adam wasn't the type to do such a thing just by his demeanor. They would walk down the path now, Ami's eyes looking right and left as they did so. "Have you heard anything about what sort of wild animal?" She hadn't and hoped that the boy would have more information. No matter they'd have to kill it though, she knew.

The two of them ventured deeper into the jungle, alert for any signs of their target. Ami had a firm grasp on her sword. She also noted that Adam wasn't much of the talkative type, which was a little disappointing. But she bit her tongue, waiting for his response. The Hyuuga would keep up the silence even though it took every ounce of her self control to not say anything.

Ami caught on to the fact that Adam was slightly loosening up, which surprised her. The kunoichi would walk beside the young boy quietly, listening to him talk about the animal that they were supposed to be find. Before she could respond, they would hear the scream of a man. From what she could tell the man was near. The girl's eyes darted left and right, searching.

The girl noticed the Kaguya rush off, immediately following him. It seemed that he had pinpointed where the sound was coming from. Observant, she thought to herself, the Hyuuga was slowly starting to appreciate her partner's abilities. She hadn't expected someone as young as him to be this serious. But then again, age was not of that grave importance when it came to how a person dealt with a situation. She would dash behind him, sensing the dangers of a presence not far from then.

In a few moments she would come face-to-face with the wild animal they were supposed to take care of for the mission. At first glance the blue tiger seemed unusually cute to Ami, always enjoying the sights of animals in excotic colours. But there was certainly nothing cute about the expression on its face as it crouched ready to finish off the injured man. Ami appeared beside Adam and watched quietly. She knew that they'd have to act fast for the sake of the injured man as well, who was simply lying on the ground, in front of the two shinobi. She thought for a moment before replying.

"Of course. You take left and I'll take right?" Ami whispered to Adam, in her mind already divising a plan of what to do. If he agreed, she would unsheath her katana in a split second, her eyes locked on her tarvet and run forward. Leaping to the right side of the tiger, she would try to slash the beast with her sword, all the while concentrating her chakra in case of a counterattack. She had very little experience in actually fighting but had the agility and common sense of any fighter. Well here goes...she thought, watching what Adam would do as well.

The green haired Hyuuga would raise an eyebrow as she saw Adam form a sword out his own bone. The look of the sword was just like a real one and his skin healed almost immediately. So this was what the Kaguya can do, she thought to herself. It was her first time seeing a Kaguya in action and she couldn't conceal her surprise. She had expected the clan to have a different ability than that of doujutsu but it still amazed her seeing it with her own eyes. Bit she would have no time to waste, as she turned her attention back to the tiger.

"Byakugan" she murmured under her breath, forcing her chakra into her eyes. Immediately her vision changed. She could see the chakra points in the tiger, who was also getting ready to strike. They would have no room for error as Ami dashed forward. As she ran towards the animal, she wss searching for his main chakra points, ones which would disable movement quicker. The girl pivoted to the right and drew her blade up, directly at the tiger's neck.

She knew that her blade was possibly a little long for close up attacks and so she was gathering her chakra in her left hand for a counter attack should the tiger either dodge or block her sword. She pushed her chakra out and slammed her hand on the tiger's head before it would send her flying to the left. The girl slid to the ground, with one knee crouched as she glared at the animal.

She felt the slash of her sword connect to the tiger's neck and felt it's hot blood against her skin as she knelt on the ground, looking at the result of her attack. She realized that the animal wasn't as strong as she had imagined, so her one strike would have quite heavily damaged it, especially since she had chosen to go for its neck. The young woman nodded her head at what Adam said, waiting for him to deliver the finishing blow. She noticed how his tone had changed, a tone she was uneasy with coming from a young child.

But she would have no time to ponder. As Adam got ready to deliver his blow, so did she, her katana once again poised to strike. The girl nodded her head again at the Kaguya, their eyes meeting one another's, a silent consent that she would do exactly what he did. She leapt up off the ground, her sword ready to stab at the same area as Adam. At this point the animal even looked defeated, and with that they were able to finish it off for good.

She would then run towards the injured man, who was lying motionless on the ground, sheathing her blade. Although not much of a medic, she knew the basics of first aid healing. She glanced at his wounds, which were pretty deep, especially the one around his torso. He had put up a good fight, noticing the scrapes and cuts on his arms and legs. The girl would call over to Adam. "He's not looking very good. Let's get him to a hospital."
