A Slice of Happiness (Group Mission)

Mission Info:

It had been a week or more since he had proposed to his love and they had started upon the path laid in front of them now together. The village had deemed it appropriate to send them on an assassination mission together that would involve them infiltrating and discovering the whereabouts of a man named Sato Kimimura, a retired ninja of some importance to Nikkousato, who was located at the lakeside resort of lake Biwan. It was a fanciful place with a multitude of travelers from all walks of life that visited the lake to experience it's beautiful waters and the luxurious resort itself, not to mention the casino that dominated the interior of the resort. It had been a week already of lounging by the pool and foraging into the lake, casino, and local venues to shop and play house with his fiancee a fact unknown to anyone but the two of them so far. It was serendipitous that the village had sent the two of them on this clandestine operation in the first place. His hair was now a vibrant deep red which contrasted with the blue contacts he was wearing to hide himself better, his hair being shorn in a side faded look with a flop on top that was gaining popularity with men his age now.

They had dispatched of Sato in a quick and decisive way, leaving no trace of their involvement as they struck like ghosts in the dark. By the time they had left the lazy river bungalow area and proceeded past the shopping district towards their bungalow, the guards who were outside of Sato's bungalow would finally venture inside to see their boss murdered and no trace of a culprit in sight. They had gotten away unscathed and undetected, meaning that their cover as Shiori and Hiroyuki Kasuragi was left perfectly intact. This was the best situation for them as they could actually keep it going for a moment if they so choose to extend this vacation that allowed them to simply spend time together in love without any work or care. However, even the best plans fall apart. Upon opening the door to their bungalow and entering inside, closing it behind them, a ninja monkey would poof into existence in their room leaving a note before unsummoning themselves.

This was a mandate from the village then, which meant that someone either on Sato's team was an informant or they were being watched by outside forces. Sighing deeply, he would reach down and grab the letter, reading it aloud for Ami in a hushed voice, "Your efforts, have not gone unnoticed and were an exemplary showing of clandestine skills. As such the village has one more task for you at the resort as Shiori and Hiroyuki Kasuragi. A dignitary from the Sun will be arriving in the next few days. We want you to get close to them and learn any secrets or details of the Sun's operations that you can, without being discovered. Their name is Jian Zanshoku and will be easily identified by his taste of fanciful yukata's bearing his family seal - a three headed crane.", handing her the note despite having read it aloud, he would move to sit on the bed as he looked down at the ground, unsure of what to say or feel in the moment as emotions rose up in him he hadn't felt in a long time, and he didn't particularly like feeling.

They had just finished one mission that had taken a week and now they were to immediately partake in another? True this allowed them to continue to play house but at the same time would they never be able to just have a moment without a task needing to be performed? This is precisely why he wanted to be a Hunter-Nin and ask her to be his partner, as then at least they could travel the world together, and only have to worry about tracking down and bringing in rogues and criminals, no more doing things simply because they were ordered too. This world was quickly becoming too challenging and hard for him it seemed, as he still had wants and dreams to pursue outside of being a ninja, his greatest of which was in the room with him now. Looking over to her he would flash her a look of what could only be described as angst as his eyes were contorted into a pained expression whilst his jaw and face seemed displeased..

Laying backwards into the bed he stared at the ceiling and splayed his arms out as he laid there for a moment before speaking, "So it seems we have a few days to do whatever we want then, what would you like to do first my love? Personally I would kill for a shower...", he would maneuver his head so he could look up at her as he smiled faintly trying to push forward with mild optimism. He did still have another question to ask her, but he would wait a moment before sharing that it seemed. It was better to fully digest the new situation first anyways. Hopefully Ami would be agreeable and they could simply have a good time the next couple days before the dignitary arrived as he desperately wanted to do something that was relaxing and not focused for now, he needed to feel like he was free for a moment however fleeting or meaningless.

He would watch her the whole time, seeing just how soft and caring she was, and how experienced of a ninja she must be after taking the news of a follow up mission so easily. Closing his eyes briefly he stopped to think as he slowed his breathing down and centered himself, only to pleasantly disturbed by her flopping down beside him.

Giving her a soft squeezing hug with his arm closest her he would show his love for her without getting in the way of her movements. Listening to her as she suggested that they take this time to recover and relax while not needing to focus 9n anything but each other he smiled brighter and exhaled deeply with relief before speaking, "Its settled then! We shall make the best of this I promise.", watching her get up and turn on the tub he would follow her movements closely.

At her suggestion that he take a shower he nodded and stood up with ease as he spoke, "Then I shall do that then. Hey babe. Do you think we could get some room service maybe? I might be up for some sake maybe or another of that fruity drink from earlier, that wasnt too bad.", Keiji didnt really drink all too often but he was growing to like Sake and fruitier cocktails as time went on. Completely unabashed as always he stripped down to nothing before even fully entering the archway into the bathroom, leaving his swimming trunks in a pile on the floor.

Making his way through the threshold of the bathroom he would open the glass door to the shower and step inside before closing it behind him. Turning on the large rainfall head of the shower he would make it a nice warm temperature before standing under it and lowering himself to a cross legged position, letting the water cascade down over him. He had a view of the tub and they could still chat whilst they relaxed in their choice of water.

Speaking louder so that he could be heard over the water he would add on, "Maybe order something like yakisoba if we get drinks, yeah?", he had heard that fried food was the best compliment to alchohol and the like. They were on vacation, sort of and so like the alchohol he would live it up for once instead of being rigid and reserved with some of his choices.
