Details: There is always something going on in the village. Low-level criminals, basic thieves, or natural disasters like fires can pop up at any moment. Patrolling the village is the duty of all shinobi and you must make sure all is well within the village. Patrolling consists of walking the streets, watching over businesses, looking into rumors, and just keeping an overall eye on things.

Arashi stood on top of a building, looking around him he spotted all the villagers doing their daily commute, some were going to their jobs, others were buying stuff for their houses, there were even some who were ninja in training and were heading to the academy. Arashi happily looked at everyone enjoying their daily lives. That is until someone broke the peace, a thief was running amok, he stole some jewelry from an old lady!? Arashi flew (Jumped) to the rescue! He followed the thief going from one street to the next until he finally caught him in an alleyway. "Give back what you stole Arashi said heroically "No! I-I... I can't!" The thief removed his hood, Apparently, he was a she, a small girl to be precise. "What do you mean you can't... C'mon you know stealing's wrong..." He tried getting closer. The girl got scared and yelped. "Hey don't worry... I'm not gonna harm you, let's go give it back okay..?" She sniffled. "O-okay..." After this exchange, Arashi hold her by the hand and took her back to the old lady.
"Here are your jewels ma'am" "I'm Sorry I-I..." She sniffled again. "Well, Aren't you a little young to be a thief!" The old lady shouted. "Ugh, I hate kids like you who don't respect their elders! We should really pay to get rid of you all!" The old lady was livid, and the girl sniffled more, she eventually started to cry. "Hmph! I'll get going then! No more respect for people I tell you!" The old lady grumbled while going farther away, she eventually disappeared into the distance, leaving Arashi alone with the now crying girl. "Hey... It's ok you don't have to cry..." He said while putting a hand on her shoulder trying to comfort her. "Why shouldn't I! She wants me dead and you are supporting her! You just want me dead as well!" Part of Arashi's heart broke at this statement, it wasn't that he was supporting that old lady he just didn't know the full situation and while it was kind of his job to catch thieves, so was protecting the people from the village. "Hey now... Don't say that... If you tell me why you needed to steal so badly I could help you." Her crying started to diminish as she dried her tears and began to talk "Well you see... My family is really poor, a-and my dad died... He was killed by some thieves. Now they want to kill my mom unless we get enough money for them! I have a little brother he's just 4 years old! I can't support him! We need our mom!" She started crying again, but this time Arashi knew why. "How much do you need to pay them?"Arashi asked hoping that he could help resolve this peacefully. "Ten-Thousand Ryo..." She said sniffling, Arashi got suddenly pale, so that plan was out the window. But maybe he could help as a ninja "Ok... Do you know who they are? Maybe I could do something about it." She stopped crying again, "Yes! Please come with me! you'll have to hide but maybe you could arrest them!" She was ecstatic, would hold his hand, and start running towards the slums.
Arashi would follow her towards the slums where they would find her mother and little brother after they chatted and came up with a plan Arashi hid in the house, and when the thieves came to "Collect their payment" Arashi would appear behind them, the thieves were a bit surprised but felt like a single ninja wasn't gonna be much for all 5 of them. They were wrong. Arashi would just fist-fight them and when they were subdued he would arrest them. After this, the girl came rushing to him "Thank you so much!" She would smile at him "Now I won't need to steal! we're still poor but now that we're not in debt we'll manage! Thank you! thank you! thank you!" He couldn't help but smile back. "Don't worry about it! It is my job as a ninja of the village!" He would turn around letting his cloak flutter "My job here is done!" He would then disappear into the night.
