- Mission Details:
Name: Escort Mission
Rank: A-Rank
Participants: Moon Village, Sun Village
Type: Group Mission
Reward: 65 EXP, 40 Ryo
Location: From one village to another
Details: A villager, local merchant or business person is in need of company on the road while heading to the next village. While they do not believe any danger is involved, the world is full of wild animals and bandits and they would feel safer if a couple of shinobi tagged along. The mission is simple: escort the client to the other village safely.
Requirements: Each person must make at least 6 posts, totaling to 2400 WC.
There had been something brewing in the shadows of the villages, without either place seemingly aware of its presence. A group had slowly been gathering their numbers, amassing their power without the people being any the wiser. Out of the people in the group, there was one voice that was not as patient as the others, a force that was getting anxious as they sat around and waiting for their moment to strike. No matter what he did, there was nothing he could do to convince the others to move and start acting; 'Bide time' they say, 'Strike only when the time is right' they lecture... It wasn't enough though, no. Finally, within time, the man had finally decided to speak to the leader, to let his concerns be known. And, in that moment, he was worried that perhaps his life would be taken from him. But no, instead, he was finally granted what he was waiting for; permission. So, which much energy and excitement, the man had left the confines of their base and headed out into the shinobi world. He had received his orders and he was more than ready to take it.
He wasn't sure of what he was going to encounter on this mission but he was more than excited, it seemed that the Moon Village of Gekkousato had recently assigned a mission to escort a wealthy merchant from their village to the Sun. It had been Taro's assignment to make sure that this merchant didn't see his destination, no matter who was assigned to the caravan detail. In the details of the scroll he had been given was also the route that the caravan was going to be taking, giving him the opportune chance to decide where he wanted to ambush them!... Right, as if. He would never resort to such cowardly methods, so instead it was more of a matter of deciding on a good place to have a battle. The person protecting the caravan was a member of the Hyuuga clan, it seemed, which meant that this encounter would only be even more interesting than he originally intended.
As Ami traveled with the caravan down the Kataki Road and towards the Sun Village, she would suddenly see an odd sight down the road. There was something in the path of the carriage, what seemed to be... A man sitting on a barrel? Taro Tatsu-Ito had taken his spot in the middle of the rod with his arms crossed over each other, the sun shining off of the golden armor that he wore. He had vibrant red hair that was nearly violet, strong brown eyes staring at the carriage as it would get closer. The man knew that this was his target, taking a deep breath and slowly standing to his full height of six feet and three inches. Taro was barefoot as he waited there, his arms falling to the side as he would wait for whatever protector to present themselves.
