It was a bright and beautiful morning.
And like every morning for the past few weeks, the green haired girl would find herself sitting on a tree branch of a peach blossom tree, in the small forest just beyond the gates of Gekkousato. She really liked this place, her little sanctuary on sleepless nights. And it seemed that the night before was one of those sleepy nights. She had planted the same peach blossom trees in the Hyuuga compounds so that she wouldn't have to leave her home and venture out, but for some reason the vibe the forest gave her was a lot different from that of her home. It was her little place, and for the most part she had seen no other person even come close. In her house she was always weary of her father or the many attendants and servants walking about. There was always movement and her desire for tranquility never attained. The girl had drank again, her lavender white eyes scanning the bottles of peach blossom sake littered the ground. She was now convinced that even though she was no alcoholic, she definitely needed some help with her need to consume alcohol.
Her head hurt as she adjusted her focus to the bright rays of the sun. The girl knew that she had to do a mission today, something about destroying a supply house. It wasn't her first time doing this mission, having done it in a group once and on her own a couple of times. She knew the drill and really didn't mind doing this mission since it mean destroying something that would inevitably be a threat to her village. It simply surprised her that there were this many supply houses being built in secret. It made her wonder just how bad the guards in Gekkousato were guarding their weaponry and supplies that people could just go in and steal. No matter, she knew that she was going to be partnered with another shinobi, and from the mission location, she guessed that they were a moon shinobi. That was good since she had only met Jayy and Karite...and Adam. It seemed that all other shinobi in her village were doing their own things or they were equally if not more busy than she was that she never had a chance to cross paths with them. It was exciting to think who she could possibly be meeting. Ami would jump down from the tree branch, her feet lightly touching the ground. She was wearing a silk red dress and black high heeled shoes. Her green hair was tied back with a red ribbon. The girl knew she reeked of alcohol, she was sure.
The Hyuugan would heave a sigh as she made her way to the meeting place, which was conveniently just outside the village gates. She hoped that at least she was somewhat presentable, having wanted to at least look in the mirror. But if she risked going home now she would probably be late for the meeting time, which was not good especially for first impressions. She would stand just beyond the village gates waiting for her partner to arrive. The tired expression on her face would tell only half of the story of her obscure sleeping patterns. She only hoped that whoever she was paired up with wouldn't take her unkempt appearance and equate it with her shinobi skills, as many people often did. Ami knew she was a competent shinobi and no amount of alcohol and sleep deprivation would alter that in the slightest. The girl would look up at the sky, watching the white clouds overhead and smiling a little.
