Karite sighed as she got up that morning. She took her shower and got dressed. She put on her normal shinobi outfit. She put on her black shorts and then started with her tops. Her black shirt hug close to her fishnet long sleeve undershirt. Her curves showing properly. She threw her cloak over her outfit and put her arms threw the sleeves. She decided to close it and put up her hood. She did a couple warm up stretches to make sure she was ready for the patrol. She yawned and walked down to the kitchen, where her sister was waiting. “Hey Hitomi, how the hell are you up so early?” She giggled knowing the answer. Hitomi shook her head. “Breakfast is on the table. Don't do anything stupid while you are out on your mission today. What do you have to do today?" Karite sighed. "I am looking into the murders that are gripping the village. I heard something happened over in the Hyuga Compound. I'm going to meet a couple teammates there to figure it out." Hitomi nodded. "Hope you find something. This is getting bad." Karite nodded in agreement and left her house.

She began her trek over to the Hyuga Clan. She had just found a body in the compound and now she was going to meet Ami about another possible murder that could have happened. This was getting really bad. She shook her head and ran to the Hyuga compound. Arriving at the compound, she stood near the entrance, unsure where the supposed incident had occurred. This would make two really close to each other. She really hoped to find the killer soon. She would wait here until her teammates arrived to assist her.

Ami had been away from the Hyuuga compounds for longer than she had wanted to admit. The young girl had traveled to the Sun village for weeks on end doing collaborative missions with their shinobi, traveled to a place called Baulder and also another mission with Gen in Debon. She had begun to miss her home, although not so much the people living in it. The green haired kunoichi would receive a message from the village gate guards when she arrived in Gekkousato, an urgent letter from one of her clan leaders. It detailed that there had been a killing, a murder on clan compound grounds. That was absurd! The girl's step quickened as she tore through the streets, hastening to the compounds. Who had been killed? How? When? All of these questions were swarming her mind as she turned the corner off the main street and headed to her home. It surprised her greatly that someone had somehow managed to kill a member of her clan ON clan grounds. They had to have the greatest of nerve or had to have been extremely calculating.

It was true that Ami was not the only one who had decided to take a little leave from the Hyuuga mansion. Her father had been out dealing with village related issues by the order of their Kage, possibly to deal with a capture of some sort of a missing ninja. The elders were simply figureheads of the clan, so they were never really in the compounds any way. This left all the other people, the servants, butlers, cooks, and attendants vulnerable. Although she had a good grasp of everyone who lived on grounds, she was sure that there were other members of her clan she had never crossed paths before, hoping that her first meeting with them would not be her last. She reached the gates and stopped, immediately recognizing the figure that was standing rather awkwardly at the entrance. It was her teammate, Karite. Wow, even her teammate had received word of the murder before her! Ami would clear her throat a little before walking up to the woman, a little embarrassed that she was as clueless as Karite was about the situation.

"So they sent you here too, Karite?"

When Arashi arrived at the village he got the briefing for his mission, Apparently there had been a string of murders happening on the village, the last of which was in the Hyuuga compound. He knew about the clan since he had studied most of ninja history, including clans and their bloodline abilities, in fact, he had actually met one of them not so long ago, a girl by the name of Ami, Who was going to accompany him on this mission along with another moon shinobi. They had told Arashi to meet his team-mates near the gate of the compound, He hurried there, trying to not make everyone wait too long for him. He had most of his ninja equipment with him, his custom Katana on his left hip, a pouch with explosive notes on his right, and his windmill shuriken on his back. He was dressed in his blue hakama and wore his cloak over it.

He only knew in which direction he had to walk to reach the compound thanks to the guards at the gate who had briefed him, as he got closer to it he noticed two girls standing in front of the gates. Recognizing one of them as Ami Hyuuga he assumed they must be his team-mates for the mission. "H-hi there..." He said with a small wave, trying to make himself be noticed without calling too much attention. "I'm here to help with the mission... I'm a sun shinobi, my name's Arashi Tento... I already know you Ami, but well... I figured presenting myself to our other team-mate was necessary." He looked at the black-haired kunoichi Awaiting for a response.

She smiled briefly and waved to Ami. "Yes, they sent me here as well. There was also one in my compound as well. We do need to find this asshole." She sighed and shook her head. She saw the shinobi walking over to them. "Do we have a third?" She went emotionless and glared the man down. "I am Karite, necromancer of the moon." She shook her head. "We need to figure out where this murder took place and begin searching for clues." She looked towards Ami and sighed. "Do you know where this took place? They didn't give me any information for this murder."

Ami nodded her head as Karite mentioned that there had been a murder in the Akumu compounds as well. It seemed that the murders, if it was the same as the other murders she had found around the village, had gone from highly skilled professionals to attacking people from prestige compounds. That was very unsettling to her, especially since the only connection she had had to the dead bodies had now all but disappeared. The young girl heaved a small sigh and was about to reply to her when she noticed a familiar figure walking towards them. Ami was actually very surprised to see Arashi, especially in the moon village. "Arashi!" she would give him a very warm smile. She had gone on a mission with him not too long ago and had wondered when she would see him again.

"I just got back from the Sun village myself and got word of the murder when I walked through the gates." she would turn her attention back to Karite, answering her question. It didn't sit well with her that a murder had happened on her compounds and she was literally the last person to know about it. Even someone from another village had known about it before her...Ami would look at where they were standing now, feeling something amiss. One of the attendants would see her and bow respectfully. Waving a hand to her, she would walk towards the woman. The girl hated being bowed at, or any kind of unnecessary formalities that people seemed to enjoy giving. "What happened? Actually...come over here and tell us what you know. Don't be afraid, they are my friends." she would say softly, her eyes glancing over at them.

The woman would follow Ami obediently to where the others were standing. The look on her face was still unmasked with surprise and hurt at what had happened. After taking a deep breath, she would begin, her eyes casting to the floor as she spoke. "One of our people were killed..." her eyes would well with tears. "Nanami, you remember her, Ami-dono..." How Ami hated the honorific. But she was too absorbed by shock. One of her youngest attendants, the daughter of another attendant at her compounds had been murdered. Nanami...the Hyuuga would formulate the mental image of a girl with wavy brown hair and emerald eyes. She couldn't have been more than fifteen years old. The two of them shared many fond memories and she had treated Nanami like her own sister even though their ranks were different. To hear that she had died greatly shocked and saddened Ami. "Where's her body...take us there..." her voice shook as she tried to maintain composure.

Arashi felt slightly intimidated by the necromancer staring him down like that. "W-well... nice to meet you Karite." After that small greeting, he listened to the others talk, thankfully it wasn't just him that didn't really know where to start. That's when one of the Hyuuga attendants appeared and greeted Ami, She came closer to them and told them who had been murdered, the mood had obviously become heavy, as Ami and the attendant were trying to maintain their sadness at bay.

Arashi figured by the way they talked and the reaction Ami gave that it was someone dear to them, he felt odd in this situation, he didn't have a clan so he couldn't really know what it felt like, but he imagined that living in such a community created some sort of almost familial links with a lot of people from it, while he didn't really know the relationship Ami and Nanami had, he could tell it was close enough to cause pain in her, and while he would've liked to comfort Ami, he didn't really know if it was his place to do so. After all, they hadn't known each other for that long, and while he always wants to make people feel better and help with their burdens, he could also be overstepping his boundaries if he were to try and comfort her. In his body language, this transmitted to him looking down and slightly raising his hand stopping halfway before putting it on her shoulder. Full of doubt he decided to shake off these thoughts and put on a brave face. "Could you take us there? Maybe we can find some clues as to who did this... and hopefully, a lead as to where to find them."

He would then follow the attendant through the compound walking slightly behind Ami. Still feeling a bit weird he hoped to be useful in this mission.

She sighed, hearing the news about the murder. would follow the group to the location of the murder and looked upon the house. "Well, I guess more bodies will help." She bit her thumb and slammed it on the group. "Summoning Jutsu!" A puff of white smoke appeared in front of her. As the cloud dissipated, a skeletal wraith appeared before her. "We should move and search the house. If you are squeamish or don't like bloody scenes, stay out of my way." She walked into the residence, sending the wraith to investigate other areas of the house for clues. She walked into the bedroom of the murdered girl and looked upon the dead body. She sighed and looked over the dead Hyuga. The classic tells of the murderer were obvious. The giant red A over the body, the stab wounds, everything was similar to the one she had seen before. She knelt down next to the body and began to examine it.

The three of them would follow the attendant to where the body was located. The girl had been brutally murdered, the giant A painted on her body was more than enough to tell the story. Nanami would make Ami's body count for this specific case rise to seven. It was chilling and frustrating to know that the murderer was still out there and still actively killing people. The girl knelt down beside the body, examining the many stab wounds. The blood loss would tell her that the murderer or murderers had taken their sweet time to draw out every attack so that the girl would suffer. Why would someone or some people want her to suffer this way?

"Who could have done this...?" Ami looked around her. There had to be some clues left behind. She would turn to the attendant and question her about Nanami's whereabouts the day before as she guessed that the girl was probably killed some time between yesterday night and this morning, from the way the blood had dried. The woman would tell her that there was nothing special, except that there was a time of about two hours when the entire house would have gone outdoors to do some shopping for the compound. Nanami had complained of being unwell and had stayed behind in her room.

When Arashi entered the room, he immediately saw the murdered girl, whoever did this clearly didn't care about making a mess, and the fact that they could infiltrate the compound of one of the most respected clans of the moon, not even bothering to be subtle, and still nobody knew who was doing this, told Arashi that this was no ordinary killer, even though he had never investigated this case, that much was obvious.

Arashi wasn't a really good investigator, So he didn't really know why they had assigned him this mission at all, still, he would try to be as useful as possible, even if all he could do was try the obvious things. Thinking for a bit about what to do he looked around the room trying to see if he could notice anything out of place, the first thing he searched for, was for possible ways to infiltrate the compound. He noticed there was a window in the room that led to a small garden which had a wall right in front of it, this wall apparently lead outside the compound. So it could be a possibility that whoever did this was a ninja who could easily climb the wall unnoticed and go through the window to kill her... "Is this room exactly how you found it when you found out she had been killed..?" He asked the attendant. "Or was the window closed when you got here?" He would get closer to the window to investigate it further. It was likely that the killer also didn't target her specifically since she was just an attendant, no one of influence... So this could be some sort of plot to set fear into the people and distrust in the ability of the shinobi that protected them. They also might have targeted the Hyuuga compound and took the opportunity of most people leaving to enter through the side and find her since her room was close to this wall... He awaited a response from the attendant, whatever she said could make or break his assumptions. Regardless of what was her answer, he would keep investigating trying to find how the killer had infiltrated
