Quit Monkeying Around! [Group Mission]

Mission Details::

Cure arrived in the village of Baulder and stretched his limbs tiredly. He was definitely wearing himself out these days, but he could not just stop all progress and go researching deeply into psychology...because there was no way he'd allow someone else to try to psychoanalyze him or try to get in his head. Cure decided there was no better way to start this mission then to go ahead and start investigating before his partner arrived. There was nothing else he could do about it besides worry his sanity. Cure started searching high and low but he could not find the juvenile monkeys anywhere. He had the sneaking suspicion that they were playing a game of peek-a-boo because he kept feeling as if he was getting close to discovering them one moment before the next moment there would be no sign of them at all. This kept going till one moment when he looked away a small rock shot at him just barely missing his head as he sensed it and dodged at the last minute. When he looked back all he could see was a grey tail disappearing in the distance. Before he could run toward it he suddenly tuned sideways as a gust blade and water stream flew past him and two more tails one blue and one silver disappeared. More tails seemed to appear and disappear all throwing small jutsu directed to harass and trip him up. A wooden snare followed by a brown tail, a fire on his foot and a red tail, a static shock as a lavender tail slapped his arm and having enough Cure quickly snatched the last tail ignoring the electric shock gritting his teeth and throwing the stupid monkey hard against the nearest tree to daze him. There was a sudden tension in the air. Perhaps he should have waited for backup after all...

He had a travel pack with several supplies and materials meant for long distance travel. His clothing was par for the course, shinobi sandal shoes and pants that were dark blue in color, as well as a crop top shirt and shawl combo of the same color as his pants. His torso was wrapped in the unique chakra threaded string in bandage form, tightly wrapped around his torso, and forearms. He held a canister of the threading in its unique placement hidden in the shawl, with several others in his bag. His Mari-Blade was in its sheath across his lower back, making it easier for him to draw it while utilizing centripetal motions and acrobatic fighting. He was ready for the inevitable on this journey.

As he continued down the road towards the area he was supposed to rendezvous with one Cure Uzumaki, he had come across an interesting scene. A man in a medical jacket and with a bandana over his head and a mask on his lower face, was being assailed by what could only be described as tricky spirit like monkeys that kept appearing and disappearing, harassing Cure in the process. He would move quick, activating the chakra threaded spool hidden in his shawl as he swiped his hand forward and fired out a rushing wave of thin steel like hardness senbon at the monkeys and area in general around Cure. As they struck the frames of the monkey's even those that were invisible they would now have a senbon stuck into hem that marked their location to an extent.

With a second hand motion he would force the senbon to wrap around and bind the targets that they had hit, their small size aiming in wrapping them in small little hair cocoons that kept their head and legs unwrapped. Speaking quickly to his companion he shouted, "Cure! Tsuyoiito Keiji, sorry I came by so late. Are these those creatures we are suppose to place the bells on? There is about six it seems that are bound now if you have the bells!", he would maintain his concentration so that those monkeys that were hit couldn't move far. Several of the other chakra monkeys had fled the area as Keiji's assault scared them off.

Cure looked toward his apparent savior before rolling his shoulders back and rehearing the tension in his muscles. After ensuring that he was alone besides the man and the monkey, Cure looked over toward the strange ninja who he assume to be his partner from the moon village. He wasn't told who was coming but he had met plenty of moon villagers at this point and at this point he had a pretty easy time guessing when he met one. But Cure was not in the habit of leaving such things to chance so he remained vigilant. However before he could worry too much the man kindly introduced himself and cleared up any doubts.

"Sure I have them. You didn't receive any?" After speaking Cure placed six of the bells on the captured monkeys one after the other. Once he got those little buggers settled, with a good amount of nasty glares from the tied down simians, Cure turned and dusted off his hands before turning to his new compatriot for a proper introduction. "Cure, medic ninja. Means i'll patch you up if you go a little overboard." At this Cure would look toward the elaborate jutsu the man entangled the monkeys in. "Also means i'll be your support, you can safely put your life in my hands."

Cure was trying to be a little more outgoing even in his cold professional persona. This was as good a first step as any. After finishing his introduction Cure gestures to the demons....uh...monkeys as if to say you can let them go now, before turning to the direction the other monkeys were most likely to have run off too. He went after them stopping only long enough to check to be sure his partner followed. Keiji woudl listen to the ninja intently as he spoke, bowing towards him as he answered him, "Sorry no, I wasn't given any bells, or I would have attached them to the threading. I apologize for inconveniencing you Cure-Dono.", he seemed as if he was a tradionalist in both manner and gestures as he was very old fashioned in how he operated with his speech and the bowing. He would almost appear like an old fashioned samurai and a ninja had a child. It was interesting and out of place for someone of their generation it would seem. Yet he continued further by answering Cure again when talking about releasing the monkeys, "Yosh!", and so he would step towards the recently belled monkeys and Cure now.

At the mention of letting the monkeys go he would wave his hand and let the threading unbind from his targets as they escaped off into the forest. Following after Cure he would speak again, "I am a Hunter-Nin in training for the moon village. I more or less am a combatant, I excel at close to long range fighting with weapons and my clan threading. I am pleased to meet you. A good medic is worth their weight in gold.", he would then be off further into the forest as they still needed four more monkeys to have bells placed on them. As they walked along the forests edge suddenly a trap of vines would drop in front of, behind and off to their sides trapping them in this section of woods as cackling howling began to echo out from the trees, their leaves rustling for movement.

Cure listened to his partner attentively showing him the proper respect as a fellow shinobi and his current teammate. When Cure heard the man was a hunter ninja he thought it fit the man's personality so far very well. Cure also filed away the thread jutsu as important logistic information to consult when thinking of strategy and necessity. "I'm mostly support currently, but if it comes down to it I'm STRONG. And my chakra scalpel technique works as a makeshift knife or dagger and surgical tool in one." Returning the favor Cure introduced some of his abilities in turn as they walked, flexing his arm when mentioning his brute strength and coating his right arm and hand in chakra hardening it when speaking of his chakra scalpel. In the middle of showing his chakra scalpel the two stumbled into a trap!

Irritated at being caught unawares Cure used his still hardened chakra scalpel to start cutting the vines as swiftly as possible. He would also make sure to coordinate with Keji in case the other ninja wanted to help cut away the vines. Meanwhile his mind would be going double time as he thought quickly on his feet, trying to prepare for what to do next once they completed the task escaping. Cure suddenly thought of a certain jutsu he didn't use all too often and once he thought of it he whispered his idea urgently to his current partner. "l have a thermal vision jutsu that I can use for a short time. I should be able to see them even if they hide in the forest. What do you think?" After offering his suggestion Cure would wait to get Keji's input on their next move.
