- Mission Details:
Name: Destroy an important warehouse
Rank: A-Rank
Participants: Moon Village, Sun Village, Missing Ninja
Type: Solo Mission
Reward: 60 EXP
Location: Within a Yellow region
Details: A secret warehouse has been found out in the wilderness. It appears to belong to the opposite village of your own, and they have been using it to store their goods or supplies. As long as this supply house remains intact, the village has access to what they need to continue to flourish. Your job is to destroy the supply house, any means necessary. While the mission itself seems simple, the house is most likely guarded by ninja or guards, which can make the mission a little tricky.
Requirements: Your post must be at least 1200 words.
The Village Hidden in the Sun, or whatever the hell the place was called, hadn't really wasted time before they started pitting him against the other village; Nikkousato. There was something about this that rubbed him the wrong way, not because he had an issue with getting his hands dirty but because there was no way he was the first person that they had doing this. So, if that was the case, then just how long had they been secretly sending Sun Shinobi to attack the other village? And... If Sun was attacking Moon, then was there a chance that the other village was secretly attacking them? This peace that the villages had going on, was it just some kind of fake thing on the surface as they tried to take each other out from the inside? Sojiro wasn't sure and he didn't want to start making random conclusions, there was no science behind that and went against what he believed. Of course, it was easier said than done to push those thoughts to the back of your mind and ignore them. Sojiro had received his mission the day before and, after having already gathered info on the Moon Village, had headed out of the village towards the south. He was tasked with going into the lower marsh, to a location that he was once told about but he had never had time to actually see.
As he traveled behind a tree, changing from his normal outfit into a completely black outfit that had no symbols on it, his mind had begun to wander for a moment. He thought to a couple months previously when he had been on a mission with a person by the name of Plague, a person who dressed from head to toe in leather and called themselves a doctor. It was an interesting set-up but there was no ignoring the fact that they were a brilliant mind, who had lent them a series of notes about the local wildlife of the Moon Village. Sojiro had read about the luminescent fungi from the person known as Plague, about the way they looked so bland during the day but at night they lit the forest up. Of course, as he thought about Plague, he thought about one of his last encounters with the woman. They, no, she had revealed her secret to the group of them and then things had... Changed afterwards. Things had been weird with Kenji, the man hadn't even wanted to talk to him until he asked for the missing children. Sojiro was sure that it wasn't because Sojiro needed help but because the children were involved, it seemed Kenji had a soft spot for kids. And Hikari, the way that they both had broken down crying while they had interacted in the gardens. He grunted, wherever Jess Uzumaki had ended up after that mission, he didn't miss the woman. If they ever met again, he would not hesitate to brush her off but he doubted that would be the case.
As he entered the forest, there was a beauty here that the words in the books he read couldn't describe, the colors lighting up the ground and mixing together. There was something way too stunning about this sight and, for just a moment, Sojiro had forgotten why he had been sent here. He enjoyed that moment, more than anything he had in the last week, but then it was gone. His nose picked up the scent of several people nearby, easily the location of the building that had been hidden somewhere. The safehouse that belonged to Moon was nestled between two rocks with the large fungi covering the area, the bright lights forming an almost barrier to stop people from seeing through at night. It was a clever idea but clearly they hadn't accounted for someone light Sojiro to come here. Before he had left, Sojiro had made sure to read his mission details on repeat. As he slipped onto one of the rocks and began to survey the area, he would slowly nod his head in approval. The mission was just to destroy the storehouse but this wasn't the same as killing a bunch of bandits, if Moon Shinobi just ended up dead all over the place then things would be suspicious. Bandits were only capable of so much.
There were two guards outside, sitting by the doors and Sojiro picked up that there was, at least, two other people that were inside of the building. So, whatever he had to do, he had to be quick about it. Sojiro wouldn't waste a single moment after he was done taking in all the information, moving to dash down the side of the boulder with chakra in his feet so that he could move silently. It was easy to move onto the ground and around the side of the building, pressing his back against the wall and taking a deep breath. Whatever he did, he would need to be quick about it because the people that were inside would waste no time calling for back-up, he was sure. A deep breath later, Sojiro would roll around the corner and dash at the man who was closest to him. By the time the guard had realized that someone was there, Sojiro would have cocked back his right hand and throw it forward towards the man chest. There was the sound that could have been someone getting struck with a basketball full force, using his Cherry Blossom Medical Strike to knock the man out and onto the ground. As the man fell out of his chair, Sojiro would continue his motion and step on the furniture as he literally pounced at the other guard.
As the man tried to yell, Sojiro placed his hand over his mouth and the two of them would go tumbling towards the ground. Sojiro would use his superior strength to control their descent so it was almost silent, wrapping around the man's body with ease until he had him in a headlock, holding him there until his body went limp. Once the guard was unconscious, Sojiro would take the two bodies and drag them off to the side, slowly walking up to the door and rolling his shoulders as he did. This was honestly easier than he thought, looking at the door and then knocking as he did. There were foot steps that came closer towards the door, asking if it was one of their friends and Sojiro did his best to imitate a generic sounding man... And it worked. As the door began to open, Sojiro would step to the side and thrust his hand into the opening, striking the man's hand with his chest and sending a shock through his body. He would paralyze the man with his Body Pathway Derangement, his body falling towards the ground with a sudden thud and Sojiro would charge into the building and towards the last man standing. He screamed but he didn't really care, since there was no way he'd be able to call for help before Sojiro got to him. With another Body Pathway Derangement, Sojiro would stop this man as well and move to take them out to where the others were. After that was done, it was more than an easy enough job to light the building on fire and leave without a problem.
