It was around noon and Ryojin was wandering the business district in search for whatever caught his eye in order to buy. He was eyeing everything in the rather vacant market place peacefully. He had wandered from a weapon store, an armor store, a house decoration store, a meat store, what was he supposed to do? What was he supposed to buy? As he continued on from the raw meat shop, he hadn't even noticed the presence of a large suntan colored bear that he crashed down from god knows where in order to open a case and pull out a massive fish which it used to stuff it's own maw with. The bear had paid no attention to the boy walking about musing over the stress of having to make an actual decision about a souvenir to bring home to his father. He hadn't brought anything back for him the past couple of times, and admittedly, the disappointment his father had shown made him rather uneasy about going back empty handed this time. Though knowing his father he would be just fine with even a small vial of sand from the sun to analyze. A long sigh escaped Ryojin's lips. He walked forward past the weapons shop and a bear swinging about nunchaku like it had one hundred years of training. He kicked sand about frowning deeply still. What on earth was he supposed to bring home for the man.
He took a seat on a bench for a moment to get some rest from the scorching sun of the village. He took out a canteen and took a couple gulps of water. The business district definitely wasn't as busy as usual. He had really picked the perfect day to take his time and select a quality gift. Ryojin had managed to get up and stretch just as a solid vase was chucked out the window of the house decorations store and hit the ground and shattered. Ryojin looked down at the vase and frowned slightly. It was such gorgeous craftsmen ship. The intricate details were really pretty, the colors were well thought out, and the artistry had been quite impressive. Even broken into several pieces the vase looked flawless. He sighed softly and turned to notice the window that had been broken. He looked through the window and made direct eye contact with a massive white bear with blue eyes. "Wait...What...?" Ryojin blinked softly and the bear blinked softly. They both stared at each other for an extended moment before the massive beast let out a loud roar.
"Wow. You're even taller than Gen!" Ryojin had launched himself through the broken window and was prodding at the bear now with his metal bo staff. "Are you actually a bear?! There's no way! Are you why the market district is so empty?! Where have you come from?!" Ryojin was shifting about the bear prodding it at various locations, asking all sorts of questions that the bear definitely did not know how to answer. After a few more moments of this, the bear charged at Ryojin and tried to directly swing at him, but it was big and slow. Ryojin side stepped the incoming paw swipe and formed his thumb and pointer finger into the shape of a gun. Water formed on the tip of his finger. "How thick is your skin? How strong are you exactly? Could you lift a building?! I bet you could come close!" The bear had swung again, but Ryojin's finger was now pressed gently to it's chest. After a moment, the water on his finger was fired off through the bear's chest and it let out a loud roar before swinging at him again. He ran, dove back out the open window, and yelled. "Come on! You can do better than that!" A more aggravated aggressive roar escaped the white bear this time. It tore the shop door from the hinges and sent it flying toward Ryojin. He ducked down for it to barely miss. "Nice try~ But not this time!" In the commotion of fighting the first bear, Ryojin hadn't noticed the other two making their way toward him.
