Known as a powerful yet elegant shinobi, he was most skilled for ranged and aerial combat, raining hell from afar at enemies unable to even see him. The secret to his success was said to be the mysterious eye piece he wore, a range finder that allowed him to see great distances. He was feared for his ability to scout enemies, track his target and then assault them from a distance. After his death, it was ordered that the eye piece be placed in a museum for display, a relic of a great shinobi, however shortly after it was stolen, take from its resting placed and sold on the black market. Its been years since the eye piece went missing, and now some wonder if it even existed.

The primary function of the Range finder is to help the user see. Since it is a metal casing that covers the eye, much like an eye patch, it will protect that eye from things such as smoke, sand, small particles and even from being attacked. The user can see unimpeded through the glass scope without needing to worry about being injured.
Abilities:
Telescopic Vision: While not inherently a special ability, the eye piece is equipped with a telescope, that allows the user to see better and more clearly. They can see at an increased distance, allowing them to see very small details on things that normally would be hard to see at such a far distance. Some consider it a passive effect of the scope, as it does not provide inhuman sight, it does allow the user to see better.
Range increase: Since the eye piece allows the user to see clearly and unimpeded at a great distance, it allows the user to throw or launch attacks at a greater distance. This passively increases the total range that a ranged attack can be used at. Any ranged attack, including a thrown weapon, projectile or launched ranged jutsu will have its range increased by 5 meters. This applies to all of their ranged attacks, regardless of specialty or skill.
Protective Lens: Because the eye piece covers one of the users eyes with a case of steel and a lens, it allows a certain level of protection. The lens is made out of reflective and flash proof glass, and can not be shattered or broken. As long as the lens covers the eye, that eye can not be effected by airborne particles, like smoke, ash or poison, and in addition is protected from blinding effects such as being flashed.
