"You need to get out of the house, Sojiro. There's much more to life than your medical books, studying, and cooking!" The words of his father echoed in his head and caused Sojiro Sakura to let out a long, drawn-out sigh. "Because of that, I signed you up to take a vacation trip with some other shinobi to visit Gekkousato! I think it'll be good for you to get out and meet new people, both from our village and to make friends with our allies." The idea of being forced out of his own home and into the forests of a foreign area was... Well, annoying, to say the least. But his father was always good to him and rarely ever asked anything of him, so if this was what it took to make him happy... Then so be it.
Sojiro had been traveling with a few Shinobi along the Kataki Road for a bit now with a few others and they were currently passing through the almost village of Baulder. He was impressed that a place of this size could exist without a Kage but, at the same time, he could never resign to living such a simple life. Spending the mornings farming and the rest of the day preparing for the next? This was a circle of repetition that sheep would follow, there was no way he'd ever find himself falling into such a... mundane routine. It seemed like hell. But the youth pushed these thoughts to the side as he adjusted the large bag that rested on his back; most of his belongings were tucked away since there had been little, to no, confrontation on his trip so far.
"I hope things are a bit more eventful once I actually get to the village..." He muttered to himself, rolling his shoulders as he looked around at the lush scenario. "Regardless of their lifestyles, I will say that this is a beautiful sight."
