Hayato was walking through the outskirts of the Sound village next to a large body of water, the sky was cloudy and a thick mist of water droplets surrounded the entire area. Hayato had been traveling throughout the lands with his hood up, however he had on his battle armor with his double-bladed katana strapped to his side.

Hayato walked with his hood up as the air around him became cold, everything in this area seemed secluded and peaceful. Suddenly the Subzero rogue heard a noise, then without warning he was surrounded by a large group of Rogue Bandits "Well look what we got here boys, a shinobi who journeyed too far from home" their leader said with a laugh which spread throughout the crowd. Hayato simply clacked his feet together and formed a sensory barrier 20 meters in diameter around himself to insure no sneak attacks.

The leader then pulled out multiple kunai in each hand then aimed them at Hayato and said "Surrender your belongings fool!" Hayato raised an eyebrow but remained silent as he slowly reached for the hilt of his katana, the outlaw leader began to throw the kunai towards Hayato at point-blank range, but with his advanced speed he began to weave and dodge each individual kunai at high speed at a very close range.

"What the hell!? No normal shinobi can move that fast!" Their leader said then charged and attemped to stab Hayato with the final kunai, but the swift warrior quickly let go of his sword hilt and caught the man's fist with one hand then punched upward on the leader's elbow and broke his arm with his other hand. Before even giving this man a chance to scream out in pain, Hayato punched him in the stomach twice which lifted the man 3 feet in the air, which was when he kicked the man in the jaw which lifted him up even higher and as he came falling towards the ground, Hayato then punched the man's body with full force and sent him flying directly into his followers at a very high speed.

Without warning, he was then swarmed from all directions by a large group of these people. Hayato ducked under the first punch sent his way and uppercut one man, while airborne from the uppercut he side kicked another shinobi away from him. The young warrior then flipped in the air and kneed another man on top of the skull, then quickly landed on the ground upside-down as he balanced on one hand in order to kick another man in the jaw only to see a kunai being thrown at his head, which was when Hayato quickly hopped to his feet barely avoiding the kunai as it flew directly passed his head then back fisted the man who threw it in the face and broke his nose. Then a man tried to kick Hayato in the ribs, but the swift warrior easily caught the leg of the man and threw him into four other men and made them all fall to the ground as he then summoned 2 exploding shuriken by slightly tapping the tattoos on his wrists them threw them at the men on the ground, causing them all to explode in a blazing inferno.

The skilled warrior charged the remaining men and drew his sword and phased out of sight, he then began to hack and slash away at all the foolish shinobi whom had challenged him. Dismembering limbs at warp-like speed, many were sliced in half but didn't even know what hit them, they slowly looked at eachother until they all notice that the other half of their body weren't even attached to them. Hayato continued this onslaught, painting the area around him red with the blood of these foolish rogue ninja. Hayato charged at full speed and with quick flicker-like motions chopped all the remaining men surrounding him into pieces while using his flexible and acrobatic skills by doing what would look like a mixture of Capoeira and Wushu swordsmanship. By doing a mixture of flips, kicks and slashes from the sword in less than 10 seconds without even breaking a sweat or uttering a single word he managed to slaughter these foolish shinobi who dared to challenge him.

The swift warrior shinobi then placed his sword in the sheath to his side in a samurai motion as a blue wisp of smoke emerged out of his mouth, this enabled him to tell there was another person behind him who had just seen the whole thing which had just occured. Hayato slightly turned his head to the side in order to see who it was, his armor was covered in blood. However, he was ready to react at any instant to any form of attack.

Nobunaga on very few occasions was serious. The expression on his face was one that he had not worn since the days of the war. His face was stern if not intimidating, there was no clue as to how many men and women has seen this face before they died. Few who ever did regretted it as it was a face that haunted soldier's nightmares, the stuff his enemies told their children about, the face of a true shinobi. His purpose for this trip was not a social call, he had heard rumors of bandits daring to come within miles of his border. Death was the price for this, all bandits knew this or at least they should. Otogakure was the only land that was completely free of all crime and activity, something Nobunaga saw to personally. He would capture this fools and find out why they were here before he snapped they filthy necks.

"Well, well, some seems to be upset," a voice said in the head of Nobunaga,"Its good to see that you still can be serious, boy." The 6 Tail, Urufu, rarely spoke to Nobunaga accept at times when it seemed to want to amuse itself. "Not now, old friend," Nobunaga responded as he neared the location. Urufu knew what that tone meant and was happy to oblige the human, what did it care about the issues of the bandits. It knew full well that Nobunaga could handle bandits, so it had little reason to be concerned. It also knew that it wasn't wise to go against Nobunaga's wished when he was focused like this.

Nobunaga stopped short of where the bandit activity was said to be going on. He paused when he got that familiar sensation of feeling cold, it was in the middle of summer. Hayato was here somewhere. Nobunaga quieted his thinking and listened closely until he could hear just where Hayato might be. The sound of fighting is what caught his ears and instantly he was on the move. He had arrived just in time to see the end of the fighting. Hayato had easily dispatched his foes which saved time for Nobunaga, though now he couldn't get want he wanted from the criminals. He let himself be known though Hayato was already turning around to face him.

"Looks like you beat me to the punch, spoiled all my fun for a good exercise," he said chuckling slightly as he walked toward his comrade. He squatted down and inspected the bodies to see if maybe they had something on them that could tell what they were here for. Sadly he found nothing. He stood up with a sigh as he looked out to the direction where the bandits had likely come from. Something would need to be done, he would send out a few scouts in that direction when he got back to the village however for now he had another matter on his mind. He had another thing on his agenda today and since the issue found its way to him it all worked out.

"Hayato, you are aware that the Akatana have returned," Nobunaga said though he didn't wait for a response and immediately continued talking,"There was a task force that was made to bring these criminals to justice. I lead these braves souls." He paused, as he recalled every face that had fought with him all those years ago. Now all that was left of that team was him and Imari, something he always was grateful for. Not because they had died, but that he was given a chance to carry on his comrades legacy. "All but two of these members live today, Imari and myself. With the return of the Akatana, so to must this force be recreated." He turned to Hayato, his familiar smile gone as his dark yellow gaze at his comrade. "I have decided to recruit yoe, but there is a catch...."

His movement was swift and fluid as reached for the large four sided spear on his back. Holding it from the center he rotated it in his hand so that is spun while at the same time swinging in a vertical motion. He aimed to cleave his friend in half, he only hoped the man was quick enough to save himself least this test end in a trip to the infirmary.

Post by Kento Sun Nov 27, 2011 3:14 am

Hayato was suprised to see that the man who was standing behind him was the Otokage known as Nobunaga. "Looks like you beat me to the punch, spoiled all my fun for a good exercise," he said chuckling slightly as he walked toward Hayato. These words made the SubZero warrior smirk, he didn't realize that village leaders liked to handle defense affairs as well. Nobunaga began to speak of a special task force which was created in order to bring criminals to justice.

Hayato felt honored that such a powerful warrior such as Nobunaga would even consider him to join such a group of warriors. However, before Hayato had a chance to respond there was a swift and fluid movement as Nobunaga reached for the large four sided spear on his back and swung it towards Hayato in a vertical motion in an attempt to cleave him in half. Luckily if there was one thing the Ice Dragon had in his favor, it was speed and reaction time.

A mere nanosecond before the spear made contact, Hayato made a high speed movement which left behind an afterimage of himself standing motionlessly. This was a technique which Hayato had never revealed to the Otokage in all the years of the two knowing eachother, so this would surely be a suprise to his advantage. The four sided spear would seem to phase through Hayato's body, as this happened Hayato would be standing directly behind his opponent in a stance with right foot placed in front of left and his hand on the hilt of his double bladed katana.

Instantaniously pressing the blade of the sheathed sword against the curve of the sheath, which would increase draw speed. Hayato used his right hand as he unsheathed his sword drawing the blade in the same motion used for the attack, which if made contact, could slash his opponent clean in half. This was an all-or-nothing attack where missing the target would result in the user being completely vulnerable. However, he kept his left hand on the sheath of the sword and prepaired for any form of counter his opponent may perform.

The mind of the War God had begun to work like a machine as his eyes remained unblinking upon his target. The blade looked as if it was about to hit something that was to late to stop as the weapon was in motion. However when the blade should have met resistance, it did not. Instantly he assumed the worse and he focused on the only sense that would not fail him, his sense of smell. The enemy had moved and had left this image in his place. It literally took seconds for him to smell the enemy on the move and was now behind him. With the tip of one end of the spear now in the ground, Nobunaga broke the center of the spear turning it into two separate two-sided spears. His next action would move at a speed that would move fast enough to narrowly save his life. In an instant motion, without turning around he brought his spear, in his left hand, so that it wouldn't stop the attack of his foe, but instead parry it. With the other piece of the weapon directly in front of him he pivoted on his left foot then to his right foot so that his turn would be balanced as he parried the attack. Simultaneously he would grab the other part of his spear that was sticking in the ground with his only free hand, and prepared for his next attack.

As Nobunaga turned he retracted brought back his spear in his right hand so that when he was facing Hayato, he could deliver his move quickly. A barrage of thrusts would come at his opponent aimed for his entire upper body rather than just one area. He did those to see if his friend could dodge this properly from such a horrible position. As it stood now, Hayato arm would be fully extended leaving his entire body exposed in a vulnerable position. Nobunaga eyes remained on his target, he would not fall for the same trick twice.

Suprisingly, Hayato's opponent was wise as he was quick on his feet. Rather than block the blade slash, he simply used his weapon to flow with the same movement and provide a countermove which would appear to leave Hayato wide open for attack. His right hand was on the hilt of his sword while the other was left remaining on the sheath. However, the Subzero warrior was prepaired with a follow-up attack utilizing the sheath as a secondary strike. If this worked correctly, it could save his life.

Hayato, under the influence of speed, quickly swung his sheath off of his waist in order to deflect the first thrust of the spear coming towards his body to the side. This second swing covered the period of vulnerability left after his first sword slash. Hayato instantaniously regained his footing balance immediately then began to twist and turn from side to side rapidly in order to avoid each individual thrust which followed the first one he had successfully deflected. Hayato's main ability was speed and agility, and in this instant it seemed to be his most vital. This incredible speed gave him an edge in battle against slower or close-range fighters, so weaving these spear thrusts weren't much trouble once he regained his footing and balance.

Hayato then jumped back after avoiding each spear thrust and sheathed his sword once again. Holding the katana in his left Hayato smirked "Wow Otokage, this is going to take longer than I thought" he said as he stood eight feet away from his opponent and used his right hand to perform quick hand signs while he spoke, however he kept his eyes on his opponent was was ready to react at any instant. Suddenly the area surrounding the two men was covered in a thick mist. Even though Hayato couldn't see his opponent, he knew his exact location and any movement he would make. Unknown to Nobunaga, Hayato had created a sensory barrier which expanded 20 meters around the area and detected the movements of anybody within it.

Hayato then silently flipped back in order to create a larger gap of distance between him and his opponent, then awaited his next move.

    Calculating...

Nobunaga had a single purpose for this onslaught. He had seen his foes physical abilties and had come to the conclusion that the man was fast. Nobunaga knew thhis much, but he never knew just how fast his foe really was. This test was providing him with the detail he needed. As it stood now his opponent was skillfully dodging all his attacks. Something Nobunaga took into accord as he watched his foe attempt to take a leap back. Nobunaga had noticed this with his keen eye-sight that the man had put more weight on a single leg, this meant he was attempting a jump. The first mistake his opponent would make. This was to simulate how he wanted Hayato to be when he fought the Akatana. If they tried to retreat, Hayato would need to prevent it instantly without a single thought.

Before his opponent could get more than a inch in the air, Nobunaga would instantly burst at full speed at Hayato. The attack at this range would likely kill so he only extended his arm right arm like so that it would be nothing more than a clothes line. Due to Hayato's own speed it would be likely that Nobunaga would hit the midsection which would be more than enough to make his point. The burst would likely be unexpected, which would mean a dead on hit unless the man had some way to catch the movement before it could.

Whether the attack hit or miss, he would appear behind Hayato position of where he would have been struck, approximately 10ft away from him. Turning so that he could keep his opponent well within his sights.

Nobunaga was no stranger to a close battle, he had successfully struck Hayato in the stomach as he attempted to leap back "Tch!" Hayato was flung back and skidded back once he landed on his feet. Before he landed, Hayato had reattached the sheath to his waist then placed his sword in his sheath in mid-air. The sensory barrier detected that Nobunaga was now exactly ten feet away from him. This was quite a suprise, come to find out that his opponent has some hidden speed behind his bulky exterior.

The mist jutsu Hayato had planned to use was no longer an option, instead Hayato had another plan. This would probably be risky, but it would be very difficult for his opponent to avoid. Once Hayato landed on his feet, he immediately began forming single hand signs with both his hands in order to perform more than one jutsu at a time. One exploding clone and three water clones emerged. The exploding clone charged Nobunaga with the double-bladed Katana drawn, as he charged he separated the blade into two swords then attacked the Otokage with an onslaught of sword slashes while two of the water clones stood afew feet away from each side of the Otokage while the other one jumped directly above him.

Then, by touching the tattoo's on their wrists each water clone would summon up ninja tools in the blink of an eye. Each Hayato clone had three exploding shuriken between each knuckle in both hands then threw their exploding items towards the man. Then with another flurry of handsigns performed by the clones, each item multiplied into nearly 100 copies, this meant there were nearly 600 exploding shuriken going towards the man in each direction. This meant that avoiding this explosion would be extremely difficult due to the fact that all these projectiles were coming towards his opponent from all angles while the exploding clone was engaging him in combat.

Both Hayato and two of the water clones then jumped back in different directions in order to avoid getting caught in the large explosion which was about to occur. The real Hayato stood back while performing multiple hand signs and prepaired for any outcome to occur. Then Hayato's arms remained to his sides at the ready, both fists easily capible of becoming lethal weapons at any instant. His legs were spread ready to jump or dodge at any moment needed, however he left a calm exposure on his overall appearance.

[C-rank doing a B-rank jutsu would only make the clone vanish. It only has a C-rank amount of chakra it thus a B rank would like an overload in its body.]

Nobunaga frowned at what had transpired. He cared little for landing an attack, he wanted to see if his comrade was truly capable of defending himself from the attack. He was a bit disappointed that it was not properly blocked, but at least the man could take a hit. Nobunaga's only concern was that if this had been a true battle, Hayato would be dead right now. Hopefully, Hayato realized this concept and would do better to remember it in the future. The Akatana were not as forgiving as he was. He watched eagerly to see what Hayato would do next as he shook his head to show his opponent was not impressed. He spoke as his opponent made his move.

"That's one life you owe me," was all that escaped his lips before Hayato was making his move. He watched as several clones appeared and made moves to surround him. Before the clone could get him, he put his two weapons together, at the same time the clone would have taken his apart. The jutsu he had in mind would require a fan, thus his blade would do just fine. He would spin his weapon at such a fast speed that that wind would pick up from and ultimately send the clone that had charged at him as well as the clone that was in the air, backward directly toward its creator. He prepared to deal with the clones on the sides of him. But he noticed out the corner of his eyes that both clones had vanished into a puddle of water.

He noticed that they had been attempting to perform a jutsu, logic told him two things. That the clones called upon more chakra than their bodies could handle, or Hayato intended to do something with these puddles. Regardless of either, his opponent has chosen to not rely on his physical skill. The speed increase likely made the man believe that being fast would mean nothing in this fight. He was learning.

"Is this truly all you have to offer me, Hayato. I recalled you to be more deadly on the battle than this. Take this warning my friend, if you don't attack me seriously you will not earn your place amongst the Night Riders," his were were fierce and angry. He wanted to see what the man could do, and yet his friend was letting him down right now. He could only assume the man was trying to play it safe, Nobunaga could only hope that his words would awaken that warrior in Hayato that he had seen so many years ago.

Hayato's clone stuck one of his blades into the ground to prevent him from flying back into his creator then exploded between the two men without harming either of them. Luckily due to Hayato's clones being unable to perform their other jutsu, he had saved some chakra as well as had water close to his opponent. Hayato had been performing hand seals this entire time, so these jutsu would begin to take place as the Otokage spoke to him.

"Is this truly all you have to offer me, Hayato." Nobunaga said as mist began to rise up around the area between the two men. "I recalled you to be more deadly on the battle than this. Take this warning my friend, if you don't attack me seriously you will not earn your place amongst the Night Riders," as these words were finished Nobunaga could no longer see his surroundings, which meant this would be a deadly element of suprise.

Hayato then punched the ground and unleashed a giant forest of Ice spikes to burst from the ground in the entire area except for the large body of water next to the men. However, at the same time Hayato caused the large body of water to turn into a giant wave of water coming directly towards the surface of the land. Hayato then immediately seemed to phase into a large ice spike unharmed as the spikes continued to spread throughout the entire area.

As this happened, Hayato would then cause the moisture in the air of his opponent, whom was surrounded by mist, to harden and compress into subzero tempuratures. Ice would begin to rapidly form around every possible angle of his opponent as Hayato attempted to freeze the man in place before the wave of water or ice spikes even made contact. However, Hayato would be able to emerge from any Ice Spike at will, giving him a deadly element of surprise should the opponent be able to avoid the attack.

Post by Bastian Sun Nov 27, 2011 8:08 pm

Mist fell upon the area no sooner than he finished speaking, Nobunaga instantly recalled the jutsu. Hidden mist, something used for silent assassins to kill without being seen. Something that wouldn't work on Nobunaga as he had a jutsu of his own. The second the mist was apparent, Nobunaga matched the jutsu with one of his own. Smoke filled the area at a much faster rate than the mist had come. It was strange to be in the smoke like this again, he had performed this jutsu in a very long time and it was like an old friend greeting him. But he couldn't spend time thinking on this as the sound of rumbling caught his attention.

He listened quietly as he could hear the sound of rushing water, and alot of it. Apparently Hayato wanted to turn this place into a water battlefield. However, so long as there was smoke this plan would fail without a doubt. With a single thought he sensed everything that was happening in the smoke. Another attack from from Hayato, this time it wasn't some clone. Nobunaga's mind went to work yet again and instantly he had a way out. By now he could sense the angle of which the wave was coming in at, it would crash in the middle of the battle field with plenty of force. Meanwhile this new attack was coming fast, with only seconds to spare Nobunaga used one of his jutsu.

He would vanish in the smoke and appear on branches of a tree that was behind the origin of where the ground would have come from. Conveniently he was put just out of range of the water jutsu and the sound of it crashing to the ground could be heard. With such an impact the attack on the ground would have been crushed. One thing was off though, he could now sense his foe. The game of hide and go seek was beginning it seemed. With a thought he removed his smoke jutsu as it immediately vanished allowing Nobunaga to see nothing but the outside of the opponents mist. What would Hayato do when he couldn't find Nobunaga in the mist? This was something Nobunaga was quite curious about as he sat down on the branch and watched the mist with intrigued eyes.

Almost instantly he had a idea that would save him alot of chakra for this fight. He bit his thumb so that it drew blood and tapped it to the tree. Instantly a wolf would appear on the branch above Nobura, it stood on two legs and looked like something out of a werewolf movie. "Attack, but dont kill. Whatever means you use is fine with me," he said. The wolf nodded and weaved a few hand-signs of its own. The smoke would return to the area as the wolf jumped from the tree and and landed on the ground. The personal summon of Nobunaga, Fenrir, was now on the hunt.

Hayato caused the tip of the spike in the center of the ice forest, which he was hiding in became dull, Hayato then rapidly emerged from the top of the dull-edged spike with a serious expression on his face while performing a multitude of hand seals. The area surrounding him was covered with water within a large cloud of smoke. Hayato then immediately thrusted both hands forward as he was sinking back into the spike. This caused a giant great white shark made of water to emerge from the center of the cloud of smoke, it began to grow larger and larger as it absorbed all the chakra being used from both Nobunaga and his summon's jutsu.

Now all that remained was the mist which Hayato had originally created. The shark caught sight of the summon and charged it, it had absorbed enough chakra where it could swollow the entire wolf whole. The giant shark then attempted to chomp the wolf in half, it was ready for a counter and also gaining enough chakra to be on par with this creature. From the edges of the spikes emerged five Ice clones which were created at the same time as the shark, the clones were hiding then came out of the spikes at the time the smoke cleared from the 50 meter radius. One of the clones looked up in the trees and caught a glimps of the Otokage. Knowledge of his location came to Hayato and all of his other clones. Hayato's clone attacked without any thought, warning or hesitation upon the sight of his opponent. The remaining four clones then retreated into the spikes.

The swift warrior charged at his top speed towards his opponent which would make most others mistakenly believe he can teleport, when in fact he was just moving at an insanely extreme speed. The way he set it up would make it seem like a frontal assault, however, just as the opponent would be able to analyze his movement and think of it being a frontal attack, Hayato moved at such speeds that he could barely be seen, appearing like a simple blur as he flickered away. In less than half a second, the young rogue whom was now behind his opponent on the tree branch as he sent a swift and powerful kick towards the back of the ninja's spine with his right knee which had enough force to easily fracture the bones near the area and crack his spine and ribs if the kick connected. Given the fact he had made his attack at such a inpecable speed, would be extremely difficult for an average shinobi to avoid due to the fact that his already highly advanced base speed was being amplified by the Body Flicker Technique.

Nobunaga and Fenrir both could sense Hayato the moment he revealed his position, and both mad their move. They didn't need to speak to eachother, they had worked together for so long that each knew the other habits on instinct alone. They could sense the opponent the second he poked the top of his head from his hiding place. Instantly the two partners sprung into action, they would make Hayato learn a lesson for not being more careful with not remaining hidden.

Nobunaga would weave his hand-sign instantly upon sensing his foe, and would summon a average sized would a few feet above where he sensed Hayato. The wolf clone would straighten its body so that it would fall to the target quickly with its mouth open, as if it intended to bit the foe. Nobunaga knew that such an obvious attack would prove to weak to do anything major, then again the point of the attack wasn't meant to be a major thing.

Simultaneously as Nobunaga did his jutsu, Fenrir weaved his hand-signs and summoned several clones that would appear around the wolf though at least 10ft higher. The three clones in total would resemble Fenrir in every way, something was likely to shock the enemy to have wolf men attacking him in the smoke. As the duo performed their jutsu, noticed a large creature being sensed in the smoke that seemingly came from nowhere. No sooner had it done so, the smoke slowly began to dissipate, which was not an extreme issue. Fenrir used chakra to sustain the jutsu so that it remained at its normal size. Sudden both could feel creature coming their way, so much so that Fenrir had gotten ready to intercept.

However, due to the distance that he and Fenrir were at the creature was about to find its rampaged ceased. Due to the water that was created ending almost 35 feet away from Hayato, the creature would find itself on dry land by the time it got anywhere near the Fenrir and Nobunaga. "Tsk Tsk," Nobunaga said as he shook his head,"He is good, but he needs to learn to gauge distance alot better." Nobunaga would have to see what his friend would do when he realized that not only was his smoke present and that his beast had failed. Not only that but he was now under attack was well.

The War God vs. The Ice Dragon [Private] Empty Re: The War God vs. The Ice Dragon [Private]

Hayato's sensory barrier immediately detected the wolf clone as well as clones of the summoned creature appear all around him. Hayato immediately decided to use his formed hand seals for a different plan and quickly switched up his hand seals for a different jutsu. The wolf clone then attempted to bite down on Hayato, Hayato immediately used his Taijutsu mastery by using his Wind Levitation by performing a multi-hit backspin kick launching Hayato upward while he was still rapidly weaving one handed seals. Hayato's heel-blades on the back of his ankles would then expand due to the Chakra Flow being transfered through Hayato's feet he was able to channels his chakra through the heel-blades. This extended the reach and the cutting ability of the blades immediately and the swift and powerful kicks would be able to chop the wolf clone's head clean off, and due to the speed of Hayato and his moment of reaction, it would be nearly impossible to avoid.

The hand seals were finished while Hayato was in mid-air which he then created fellow ice clones which were hanging off of the edges of the larger ice spikes unharmed and were 15 meters away from Hayato's location. He then instantaniously performed a substitution jutsu with one of the ice clones he had just created as the rest of the clones, as well as himself, sunk into the ice spikes. The wolf clone would then land on the spikes under it, as well as all the other summon clones which fell to their death. Now Hayato was hidden within an ice spike. Meanwhile, under the same influence of speed, the ice clone gathered wind chakra into both of its hands then released a large sharp crescent of wind chakra above it. If this made contact, it would cut them in half.

Hayato's clone then immediately flew back as it sent the sharp wind chakra above itself towards the clones of the summoned creature. If the wind didn't kill them, falling to their death on the ice spikes will. The clone then switched the direction upward as it spread its arms and created a sudden gust of wind all around it until it flew 30 feet above the cloud of smoke then immediately began searching for the Otokage's location.

Nobunaga and Fenrir both would smile as the plot had succeeded as planned. The enemy had attacked the wolf clone and likely was now succumbing to the deadly effect of it. The wolf clone would burst into a cloud of distinct smoke that would cause Hayato's eyes to burn from it. This would greatly hinder the man's vision. There was also the fact that now Hayato had amply time to have breathed in the smoke of and was probably feeling really high right about now. The thought made Nobunaga smirk as Hayato should have paid attention to the distinct smell of the large smoke cloud. These hinderance would be enough for the clones of the wolf to capitalize on.

The three clones straightened their bodies during the time, Hayato was attacking the wolf clone. This would make them appear just after the cut was made and the smoke from the clone wolf took effect. They left no time as they each let off a flurry of attacks from all directions, using their claws as weapons. Two of the wolf clones would do this, but one would immediately smell the trick. The creature being struck was not the target and thus, it quickly kicked off one of the other clones so that it could escape the drop onto the spikes. The clone that had replaced Hayato, had saved the mans life but the clone had no chance to do any form of an attack. It would be torn to shreds though it took its two attackers with him, as both of the clones hands would have been frozen solid.

Upon their deaths, Fenrir instantly knew everything that had happened along with his final remaining clone that had managed to use its superior speed in the smoke to gain enough momentum to get him self away from the spike field though just barely. Landing on the water as the chakra at its feet kept it afloat. However, Hayato now gave both Nobunaga and Fenrir the detail they needed. The man was moving about in his ice field, a cheap tactic but a good one nonetheless. The only issue with that was now they both knew how to get him out of there.

Fenrir ran exactly 20 meters in, making him now standing on the water surface but putting him close to the exact location where they last sensed Hayato. Though because he was still in the smoke, he still could sense if anything peaked out to stop him. Fenrir weaved a few hand-signs and a massive gust of wind would be sent out, cutting down everything in front of Fenrir for 20 meters. This destroy half of the ice spikes and send the majority of the water away putting Fenrir back on solid ground as well as the clone who was now approaching its creator. Fenrir eyes remained closed as he focused his sense of smell, hearing, and the smoke sense on everything that was going on. The first sign of anything fighting against the current would mean he found his target.

Nobunaga waited patiently as he waited for his chance to strike, he had already weaved his hand signs. The second his opponent show himself this time, it would be the end of the fight.

Hayato had successfully destroyed the wolf clone by slashing it by the tip of the head, however his rising strike had caused it to explode in a cloud of smoke, which would unknowingly burn his eyes if it made contact with his face. Luckily, the swift warrior was still wearing his hood which shielded his eyes and was using the wind currents in mid-air by constantly emitting chakra waves through his feet. Due to the fact that Hayato was using his legs in a spinning motion away from his face, as well as channeling chakra through his heel-blades in order to make them larger, this would generate a fan which would automatically blow the majority of blinding smoke away from him long enough for him to instantaneously perform his substitution Jutsu.

The ice clone, which he had now switched locations with, had stopped spinning and generating the fan of wind chakra, resulting in it receiving a face full of the smoke which caused its eyes to burn. However, as soon as the clone's eyes began to burn it would be torn to shreds though it took its two attackers with him, as both of the summoned creature's clone’s claws became frozen solid then fell to their deaths in the spike pit. The final remaining clone had somehow escaped to safety, however Hayato kept his senses up and was ready to react in case that clone tried to become a bother to him.

Hayato's sensory barrier immediately detected the location of Fenrir, who was now standing on the water surface but putting him close to the exact location where he had last sensed Hayato. However, Hayato was located near the center of the spike forest, which meant that Fenrir was stupidly standing directly next to the forest ice spikes on top of the water surface and within the range of Hayato's sensory barrier.

Hayato had noticed that his opponent was able to somehow detect his location through the smoke, so this meant that if either he or his clones appeared within the smoke they would just have to make their move at such an extreme rate before his opponent could even react, even if they sensed it. One of Hayato's clones attacked without any thought, warning or hesitation upon the sense of his opponent's summon being in range of the closest ice spike, which was only afew inches away. An arm rapidly emerged from the ice spike directly next to the wolf summon at an extremely fast rate while Fenrir only began weaving the first of the few hand-signs, which caused the water surrounding the creature to instantaneously rise up and completely consume the summoned creature in a dome of water. Hayato's clone would then immediately used his Kekki Genkai abilities to shoot rays of intense cold from its hands to then begin to freeze the creature in a dome of ice at an extremely rapid rate.

This attack would be done at such an extreme rate to the point where it would be nearly impossible for anybody to avoid due to the massive amount of water surrounding the summoned wolf and at such a close range. However, near this location was more spikes and any sign of resistance would result in an automatic counter by either Hayato or another of his clones. No matter the outcome, this would be able to prevent the gust of wind that was attempted to be sent out to destroy the forest of ice spikes. Hayato and his clones kept their senses up and prepared for anything to occur, even from the last surviving clone of this summoned creature.

    Call A Hit:

The wind jutsu of Fenrir would do as it was meant to do and would tear into the ice spikes as well as push away the water that was in front of Fenrir. Anything that was in its path would likely be destroy, one such unfortunate victim was something that had come out of the spikes. The speed was fast but the distance was to great and the clone would be torn to shreds like the ice spikes around it. Instantly Nobunaga and Fenrir would sense the body of one person in the smoke that didn't disappear after being hit from the wind attack. Fenrir would send his remaining clone toward the body to deliver a simple message to the man who was now covered in slashes and cuts from the wind jutsu.

"Do you wish to continue," was all the clone would say to Hayato as he lay on the ground. The test was over in Nobunaga's eyes, but he had seen enough to know that his comrade would be a useful asset . The ability to strike from his spikes at will was a useful thing, the only flaws that he relied on its safety to much. It was only a matter of time before a flaw was found in it. And there was the simple route to foil the strategy, something Nobunaga choose not to use for this fight. That would remain quiet however, a good strategist never reveals all his tricks.

(Well, my character is able to move through the spikes at any instant. So he will remain unharmed, however the fight is over with you as the victor)

Most of the spikes were destroyed, three of the four remaining clones were obliterated upon impact while one fell on the ground near the few remaining spikes. The clone was covered in slashes and was about to shatter, however it had not yet shattered away. The clone of the wolf appeared next to the clone "Do you wish to continue?" it asked plainly. Once this sentence was finished the clone became pure ice and shattered on the ground.

Hayato emerged from the remaining ice spike behind the wolf clone, and he would show to be completely unharmed. This would most likely be a suprise to the Otokage and his pet "Nah, I think I proved my point." Hayato said in a plain and calm monotone as he was rubbing his eyes "That Otokage bastard got smoke in my eyes, so can you turn off this damn smoke screen please?"

The clone turned to Hayato and gave a nod before vanishing in a puff of smoke. Fenrir would instantly get the information from the clone and cease the smoke jutsu. He would look up to Nobunaga in the tree, "He has surrender, Lord Nobunaga," Fenrir said as he walked to get a good look at the foe he was sent to fight. Since he had been summoned he had not gotten a good look at the foe so now was as good a time as any. Nobunaga leaped from the tree and landed with a loud thud on the ground. He walked over to Hayato not far behind Fenrir and met his comrade with a smile.

"You've gotten rusty old friend," he said as he looked at Fenrir. The would growled at the statement, but kept his eyes on Hayato. "Your a decent shinobi, I guess," he said plainly as he turned away. Nobunaga knew the wolf was not keen of praising people, so the fact he said that meant he respected Hayato. "I'm leaving," the wolf said as he vanished in a puff of smoke. Nobunaga only laughed as he looked back at Hayato. "You did fairly well, still need some work but I think we can use you."

Nobunaga offered his hand to Hayato, "Do you accept the offer to join the Night Riders," he asked with a smile. He knew Hayato wouldn't deny the offer, but it was protocol to consider.

The smoke in the area cleared, The Otokage jumped down from the tree he was hiding in then approached Hayato. Nobunaga offered his hand to Hayato, "Do you accept the offer to join the Night Riders?" he asked with a smile on his face. Hayato nooded as he clinched his friend's hand "I accept this offer, I am now Hayato, the Ice Dragon of the Night Riders."
