Under the Moonlight [Spar]

Some time had passed after Faustein had undertaken the mission wherein he had to work with the two kunoichi, one from his own Sun Village named Kannagi and the other from the neighboring Moon Village named Ami. The latter was of course one of the famous Hyuuga clan as she had demonstrated so amply during her tussle with the hyenas which they had been contracted to kill off in order to protect the travelers and other people in the area. Since then, Faustein had gotten back to his usual daily routine, both in his professional life as a practicing physician-scientist/medical ninja and in his mad science research as well. However, at one point, he had hit a snag once again and therefore, decided it would be much more prudent to go take a walk in order to provide his exhausted brain and body with some much needed fresh oxygen.

The sharingan...hmm, so the idea is that it enhances my visual prowess, but it does not seem to be able to visualize the environment in anything other than visible light and perhaps chakra vision. However, if it were to be utilized simultaneously with that one medical jutsu that was being displayed in that shop...yes, perhaps this combination bears further investigation...

Musing thus silently, Faustein headed out of his residence and out of the village into the immediately surrounding area, making sure to keep within full view of the village guard so as to not be suspected to trying to become a missing ninja. He nodded silently in greeting to them to which they did the same and then went about his nighttime stroll, enjoying the feel of the moonlight upon his face. It was then that he noticed a long young woman with a familiar hairstyle and color, namely a verdant hue and worn long. Since he saw that she was sitting next to the tree, he figured he should head over to her. Upon coming within visual and auditory range, he nodded in greeting while saying in his usual rich baritone but hypnotically melodious voice

"Ah, so we meet again, eh? How very fortuitous, indeed."

Then, he fell silent and waited for the young woman he knew as Ami to respond or react in some way. Little did he know that soon, he would be working alongside her yet again, this time in a spar against one of his his own Sun Village shinobi, one far superior to him at present.

Appearance:

Faustein had flashed the Hyuuga kunoichi named Ami a brief smirk as he heard her compliment him on his linguistic skills and nodded in acknowledgement of her compliment

"Indeed, and you would be...Ami, unless my eyes happen to be deceiving me? Ah, to think that I would already encounter one of the bearers of the legendary Byakugan once again so soon, this is truly the highest of honors."

Then, he had watched as Ami looked about before returning her gaze to him before asking him what brought him out to the desert at that late hour

"It would suffice to say that I am out for a stroll, to imbibe the pleasant night air and indulge in the enjoyment of this nocturnal milieu."

He had been about to say more, but then was interrupted by the arrival of another Sun Village shinobi, one who was carrying the remains of a dead scorpion in his hands as he approached them. Once he was within earshot of them, the stranger inquired whether his presence was interrupting a secret rendezvous. To that, Faustein had heard Ami reply in the negative and make light of the stranger after which she identified him by name

"Not at all, this is what would be termed as a "chance encounter". That aside, so you are the famous Sojiro then? Well now, this is even more fortuitous for me for I now get to place a name to a face at last. Greetings to you, Faust is the name and dabbling in the arts of the physician-scientist and medical ninja is my game."

Faustein said with yet another smirk and a brief raised wave of his hand to Sojiro in greeting and then fell silent, awaiting the responses and reactions of his two conversation partners.

Faustein had watched as Sojiro recognized him by name and then gone on to suggest a collaboration between them at some future date after which the man came up for a handshake, so Faustein nodded, taking his hand and shaking it before letting go while remarking with a smirk on his thin, firm lips

"Oho, well this is most intriguing indeed, and likewise, a great many tales have been told to me by my parents about you and your work and of course, this has been corroborated by my own personal research into your achievements as well. Indeed, we mostly certainly will engage in some discourse regarding the possibility of collaboration...perhaps even in medicosurgical research and development."

Then, he had fallen silent and observed Ami and Sojiro interact wherein, eventually the topic of a spar was brought up. In response, he heard Ami suggest that they team up against Sojiro, so he nodded

"Of course, this is the most logical option here, so we have ourselves an accord. Let us proceed then, into the fray, and may the Shining Queen of Heaven watch over us as we put forth our efforts on this momentous day."

He remarked with a brief smirk before stepping into a basic combat position alongside Ami, also about 5 m away from Sojiro. Before the spar was joined, however, he posed a query

"So then, will this be a spar that is inclusive of jutsu and equipment? Or perhaps simply a straightforward Taijutsu contest without these aforementioned elements?"
