Never! Never again would he be so impulsive! It was so unlike him to begin with! What made him think he would find any clues on either his elder sibling or that mystical medical tome he wanted by traveling someplace so dangerous? Even if one or the other was there he should have waited until he had actually brushed up on his survival skills and jutsu more, but nooooooooo......he was "Determined." Pwah! At this point he was suppressing his chakra constantly and staying low just hoping something weird or dangerous didn't catch up with him. At some point he swore there was a snake flirting with him.......then he realized there was a HUGE snake behind him! ......that was flirting with him......

Anyway after escaping that both strange and weird situation he was more then a little on edge. The only consolation was there was no one out here to aggravate his empathy and flood him with the familiar foreign emotions of others. Though he wouldn't mind tuning into a hot guy's emotions maybe then he'd figure out why he was still single. That old saying about smart people being undesirable mates wasn't actually true right? The heat and exhaustion was getting the netter of him so he decided to stop into a small clearing and sit back against one of the tree's in the grove. 'A little break wouldn't hurt right?' As he was thinking that his eye's seemed to be growing heavy as he wearily adjusted his glasses.

Cure nearly jumped out of his skin with a start before realizing that it was another person and that person did not seem hostile....yet. Then Cure realized with a start that this stranger seemed to be a ninja from his Sun Village. Cure relaxed himself a little more and decided it should be fine to interact with this person besides it was pretty dangerous here. Cure used his high gentle voice, that was as gender neutral as the outfit he constantly wore as a disguise, and spoke up. "I'm Cure. I do happen to be lost I guess. You wouldn't happen to have heard of a tome called the Akashik Records would you?" The tome he was looking for wasn't a medical tome of and in itself but there was a pretty generous section of it with miraculous medical knowledge's, techniques, and recipes! Then Cure had another thought. "Are you traveling alone as well?" He had nearly died multiple times attempting to travel this route by himself, so if this stranger could do it he must be pretty strong and might even be popular back home in the village.

"So...ji....ro." Cure tried the name on his lips softly tilting his head ever so slightly. It was a nice sounding name and Cure was actually pretty happy to see a friendly face in this death trap pathway. Unconsciously he already started to look at Sojiro in good favor, a surprisingly quick decision from the normally stoic man. "Lost...I guess I could be considered so....well the I'd intended to visit the Moon soon anyway, and I'd rather not continue traveling alone." Cure as usual weighed the pros and cons in his mine rapidly thinking things through logically, after all even if he already liked this man did not mean he would just start blindly following people. This was illogical behavior. After what seemed only a second Cure had come to his decision and he could only embarrassingly claim in his mind that the deciding factor had definitely not been getting the chance to admire the man's stunning and heart-melting looks for a longer period. Definitely not! No matter what his inner mind said. "Actually if I could have you as an escort I would be truly content. Your offer is unquestionably satisfying should you mean to honor it." Cure would stand up to his full 4 foot 11 height gracefully before turning fully to the man his sparkling eye's the only hint at his excitement.

Cure would begin to describe the Akashik Records to Sojiro as he followed the man. It was a legendary tome with miraculous techniques and teachings on a variety of topics. Including but not limited to Medical, Basic Ninjutsu, Forbidden Ninjutsu, Lost Ninjutsu, Ancient Fuinjutsu Seals, Economy, Agriculture, Combat Styles, Taijutsu, Cooking, etc.

"I've heard the tome was so rare and valuable it's creator split it into pieces and hid it all over! Each segment is supposed to have up to 5 or more topics in one. No one knows how many segments their are, or if it was even really split up to begin with!"


Cure sounded much more animated as his gentle voice cheered on through his explanation of the legendary tome. This was actually very uncharacteristic for the constantly stoic medic but research and reading were two of his greatest passions and enjoyments in life, so even he couldn't help getting a bit excited. This broke the stale professional air he normally carried and made him seem pretty adorable. Although it was still impossible to tell his sex. Suddenly Cure turned his full bright eye'd gaze onto Sojiro. His eyes looked cute and they were shinning happily as the man suddenly was the recipient of the medic's full attention.

"Isn't that amazing Soji-sama!"

Cure laughed happily and blushed a bit beneath his mask. He looked away from the man shyly when Sojiro put a hand on his shoulder and scratched his head a bit as he replied shyly. "Most people get annoyed when I go off talking non-stop like that. Especially about "boring" facts and information." Looking up into the sky or leaves or whatever was above him he seemed to close his eyes peacefully for a moment as he continued moving forward before opening them again a warm and sunny smile in his eyes. "You make me pretty happy." This was all Cure could think to say as thanks.

Cure enjoyed the silent companionable walk but then when Sojiro asked him about running he raised one eyebrow in question. When the man explained he heard wolves Cure nodded his head very business like as he replied astutely. "I'll follow your lead Soji-sama" After saying so Cure would tense himself looking around sharply at his surroundings as he would follow Sojiro lead whatever he decided to do!

Cure stumbled along doing his best to keep up with Soji and not drag him down. He didn;t want to be a burden for the man, and was really trying his best. He was already really frustrated with himself by the time Sojiro suddenly stopped. Then when the man offered him a piggy back ride he felt his entire face hit up. "So....soji....sama." His voice was thick would an adorable shyness but he squared his shoulders and nodded shyly. They were being chased after alll! Cure quickly but gently climed onto Sojiro's back and held on tight but not too tight to were he might injure or hamper the other Sun ninja. "L-l-like t-this?" Swallowing nervously, Cure felt like his face would really catch fire. He waited for Sojiro to take them away.

Cure obeyed the other ninja immediately, holding on tighter and not allowing himself to fall. Cure could feel himself blushing, a warm flush traveling through his body as he laidfirmly against the broad solid back before him. It was warm. They were in danger now but all Cure could think of was wishing he could stay like this for a long time, but he knew eventually they would have to stop and he would need to get up. So until he needed to help fight he wanted to just enjoy this feeling as long as he could, "I'm not going anywhere but right here." It was barely a whisper that Cure told himself as he held on tight.

Cure would give a warm smile and blush in return. It was exciting in more ways then one and he was almost disappointed it had to come to an end. But he knew that it was more important to get some work done and to be more productive. It was important for both of them to become stronger after all! "T-t-thanks! You're sweet...I mean t-that's sweet...I mean...uh....*sigh* Thanks for saving me." Mind sharing a hotel room? I'm kinda low on funds at the moment and I'd rather not camp outside after the day I've had."

'Speaking of which the moon should have some good hot spring places here shouldn't they? The desert didn't have much of those and with this disguise it'd normally be inconvenient.'

Cure was lost in thought for a second before listening to Sojiro's reply. Whether the man agreed or not he would blurt out suddenly. "AH! Umm...maybe later if we're both still here we can hang out together and do something fun here? Like FOOD.........SHOPping.........Sports.......hot springs...." With each suggestion Cure's voice got lower and lower until it was barely a mumble and his eye's looked away shyly. He didn't actually have a lot of friend or even aquaintencaxes for that matter and he really liked this man for some reason so Cure wanted to get to know him and hang out.
