    Yoriko Nara
    Yoriko Nara Image
    Name: Yoriko Nara
    Nick Name: Yoyo, Ri, Koko
    Age: 18
    Gender: Female

    Clan: Nara
    Bloodline: Nara Bloodline

    Origin: Nikkousato | Sun Village
    Village: Nikkousato | Sun Village

Appearance: Yoriko's structure can be described as a feminine body shape with wide hips and volume in her thighs and chest that highlight her femininity. Her skin complexion is fair, although slightly leans toward dark that's free from any sort of deformity or scars. She has long white hair that measures down to her back nearing to her thighs with a black bow behind her head. Her hair is often let loose, letting it rest on her back with a few bangs that cover up most of her forehead with a few longer stands of hair that lay on her shoulders. She occasionally stylizes her hair in a single ponytail as her alternative, but on other moments she likes to do a twin tail or perhaps a bun. Her eyes are bright golden in which her complexion compliments the color.

Yoriko loves to wear clothing that are more feminine or sheds light on her strong feminine points of her body. Though, she doesn't mind any other fashion that strays from what she's used to. Her usual attire consists of a black cloak with red ribbons on the side, and a high collar and large sleeves that are decorated with golden designs on the collar, sleeves, and the back of the cloak. She wears a long sleeved black top where it reveals a cleavage with black guards on the back of her hands. She then wears a red skirt with a see through area lined between a black strip with golden trims is centered and black knee high socks to compliment her overall outfit. Top top it off, she wears black high heeled boots.

    Height: 5'5"
    Weight: 115 lbs

Personality: Yoriko initially appears to be fierce and serious. While those two traits are not far off from her character, there's a softer side to her that she lets be known. She radiates humility and warmth from head to toe. At first glance, she presents herself as a kind woman who wouldn't seem to hurt a fly. Although that may not be the case, it's safe to assume that killing isn't something she's so fond of. She is soft spoken, echoing a calm and even tone that almost enters into the sound of rage or anger.

It'd always seem Yoriko knows how to control her temper, thus resulting into her rarely getting upset and assuming that she's an expert in keeping herself levelheaded in dramatic or stressful situation. That doesn't mean she's one hundred percent always mature and relaxed, but it's how she's usually viewed. It also doesn't mean she can't be annoyed and raise her voice every now and then to express leadership and some sort of authority.

Some may considered Yoriko to be a "mother" from how nurturing and caring she is. She doesn't mind being the one's shoulder to cry on, provide emotional comfort, and offer advice. Her instinct to protect those she hold dear to and generally those around her is apparent. She almost never turns her back on people that need her the most, a trait that even Yoriko herself finds frustrating. Her gentle tone better brings out and emphasizes her tender and devoted side. To her it's considered a strength to have, but she knows when to tone it down knowing very well it can be manipulated. In the end, there are moments where her big heart can get the best of her.

Kindness is another aspect that radiates from the young woman. She's a very sociable creature who is a natural at making conversations feel natural. Yoriko is open to making new friends and acquaintances and expand her social circle. In connection to her nurturing trait, she will support those that she holds dearly until the end of time. She puts loyalty above all else and cherishes friendship. She's always willing to lend a hand in need and aid those that need help the most. Her devotion to protect is what makes her strong as a kunoichi and her determination is what makes her mentally prepared for any sort of danger.

But not all the time does she seem like the perfect angel sent down to protect those in need. Because of her morality being right at the end of good, she has somewhat of a self-righteous attitude. She believes her morality is superior and that her beliefs should be the correct way to go. She doesn't necessarily think she's better than anyone, but instead thinks that her route of becoming a kunoichi should be an ideal model. Criticism is something she can handle, but anything that attacks her beliefs is something she may become intolerant of.

Because she has strong compassion, her sense of justice would often cause her to jump into dangerous situations head first. This also leads to her being extremely prideful of her beliefs and her reputation as a kunoichi. Another downfall of her compassion is that she can be extremely emotional. Because she's so used to giving emotional support to other people, she forgot how to support herself. She trained herself well to contain her emotions to not let them get the best of her, but that doesn't make her immune. Y

oriko's cool shell can easily break if it's struck on the right places to pierce through. She can become unreasonably angry, sob uncontrollably, or scream at the top of her lungs if she feels extremely bothered. This also makes her far less likely to let go of grudges, especially when it comes to betrayal. She may or may not warm up eventually, but betrayal is a hidden truth.

Another downfall for her as a kunoichi is her "code" to never kill. She believes no one is born good or evil, but only taught such things. Those that were taught evil do deserve harsh justice, but taking a life away should never be an answer. The people that were taught evil shouldn't have to suffer the consequences of what they were taught, blinding them from goodhearted morality. Of course if drastic measures take place, Yoriko would have no choice but to kill.

History: Yoriko was brought into the world and raised by two medic Nara clan members. As excellent they were with aiding those that need their injuries of all kinds treated, they didn't want her to become a kunoichi. Not while the abduction of children ran rampant in the Sun Village. Before Yoriko, there was a supposedly older sister in the picture. Sayomi Nara. She was but a young girl who had ambition to help her village and follow her parents' footsteps. Unlike Yoriko who later grew up to be kindhearted, Sayomi was rougher who wasn't afraid to speak her heart out. Though, she still held serenity have a rough view of her love. She has a bright future ahead of her until she went missing at 8 years. Since then, her parents were thrown into depression.

They were unsure of whether or not they wanted to have another child for the sake of replacing Sayomi. They loved her to death, yet they didn't want to risk two things happening: their second child getting abducted or viewing them as a replacement of their first born. The last thing they wanted was to cause pain for both themselves and their possible future child. However, the whole that Sayomi left was too great for them to ignore. They missed her dearly, yet she had yet to be found anywhere. They wanted another- no, they needed another child to fill in the void.

That said, Yoriko finally came into the picture.

Yoriko was a sheltered one. With a very stable income provided by just both of them together, her mother retired from being a shinobi and became a stay at home mom to raise Yoriko. Both parents made sure that she was shielded from the horrific event that constantly swarmed the village and the ugly truth that was the shinobi world. She was nurtured twenty four seven, therefore picked up a sense of empathy and kindness. Although it did hinder her social abilities whenever guests came over to her home. It hindered her process of growing up and something had to be done about it.

When Yoriko turned 9, she and her mother would often take strolls around the beaches and other public spaces to spend time together and enjoy the rest of her childhood as she could. Her mother made sure to keep her child close at all costs and that no one would snatch her away. As a 9 year old, Yoriko was very curious as to how the world worked around her, what's going on, and wanting to know the people around her. She's seen all kinds of people. Civilians of all ages, shapes, and sizes, and then came an interesting bunch: shinobi. She's heard a few chatters here and there from even other children on wanting to become the best shinobi in the village. All it took was three words asked by Yoriko to frighten her mother:

    "What's a shinobi?"

Her mother was taken back by the sudden question, but knew it would come eventually. At first she gave a vague answer, but Yoriko was a very persistent little girl who demanded something more. Eventually giving into her child's wishes, her mother became more specific on being a shinobi and what it took to be one. She heavily advised Yoriko to never become a shinobi and that it wasn't a profession risking a life for. But then another retort came from the little girl, and that was the idea that other people were doing it to protect their village and Yoriko wanted to do the same. Another blow given to her mother was the idea that she and her father were both shinobi.

After the talk, her mother and father then discussed about Yorikos dream of becoming a shinobi. To which her father heavily opposed against and instead suggested her to do something that was less dangerous such as becoming a chef. Yoriko gained a sense of rebellion from her parents denying her true dreams. This caused a rather rocky relationship among the family ever since. Her father became stricter and her mother turned to alcohol as comfort. It wasn't because of Yoriko's desire to be a shinobi, but because she reminded them of Sayomi with her rebellion.

The rest of her childhood was nothing but trouble from Yoriko from disrespecting her parents and disobeying their rules. It wasn't until she was 16 did she slowly began to reflect on her actions and realized what they've done to her parents. She was at the age where she fully became aware of her actions and what they did. She finally understood why her parents never wanted her to become a shinoi. was disgusted with herself. She knew her parents wouldn't forgive her, but she felt as if the only way she could be at peace was to apologize.

But to her surprise, her parents mostly accepted it. They were still upset as she could tell, but they also apologized for denying their only daughter's true dreams of becoming a shinobi. That said, they've finally decided to let her join the academy and start her jourey of evolving into a successful shinobi to stand by her village and its people, ready to defend it at all costs. Little did Yoriko know, the same scenario played out with Sayomi. The rebellion, the apologizing, it was all familiar to the parents. The only difference was Sayomi relapsed back to rebellion and went her own way before she got abducted. They could only trust Yoriko to not follow Sayomi's footsteps.

After joining the academy, Yoriko mostly had a warm reception. There were a few people that harassed and bullied her occasionally, but she always made sure to keep her head up and let nothing bother her.

At 18, Yoriko managed to become a top student in her class and officially graduate from academy student to Genin.
