Mad Skeleton [Spar]

Tap..Tap...Crunch...This had been the sounds a special young man would hear as he would make his way throughout the desert. A dry land that seemed to bare nothing but false visions and dry mouths. The desert was no place for someone like this kaguya. It would be a week since he had made his visit to the Sun village with is weird people and beautiful culture. Sure he mostly came here so he could get a glimpse at that fine chiseled man, known as Sojiro, but he had met a few good apples along the way. He still had no idea what he was really doing here. His mind would wonder a bit as he would sit on the ground for a second. The heat beating down on him as he would seem to see visions of his village from afar. He was too smart for that knowing that the village had been miles upon miles away from here.

Shinigai was able to pick up a few new things since he had been to the sun. The first was a fancy new wardrobe. He would wear two layers. The first layer would be made up of a tunic and some white shorts to match. The tunic's collar would wrap around his shoulder and would also have two open sides for his own personal uses. On top of that he would be wearing a nice robe that would stop just short of his shins. THe robe would have a green patterned outline but would be mostly white. He had found a few pieces of jewelry in this lovely village but his favorite was a gold chain that was long enough to both wrap around his waist and neck but it would also clip to his ear much like an earring. Pushing back his white hair the boy would stand up and growl with aggravation. "Im so over this sand. Makes me want to fight something!" He would say as he yelled at the top of his lungs.

Twenty meters away from Shinigai there would be an explosion in one of the dunes, launching a geyser of sand up into the air. Once the sand cleared, standing where the dune had been was Tatsuya Nara. His smooth black hair was tied back in a tail that went down past his shoulders and he wore his usual attire a black suit jacket and dress pants over a white button-up shirt with the first few buttons undone, black leather gloves on his hands, the right one bearing the seal to store his puppet, steel-toed shoes, and a patch over his left eye. He was armed, of course, but preferred to keep such things hidden until they were needed. He raised his arms dramatically and shouted,

“I am the Great Spirit of the Desert! I kick the crap out of anyone who shit talks my sand! Have at thee, scrub!”

Tatsuya would summon his robed clown puppet, Piero, and he would string it and hover it alongside him. Both puppet and puppeteer would charge toward Shinigai side by side, closing the distance to 15 meters.

The explosion would cause the young kaguya to widen his eyes as he would look in the direction. There had been a strange man standing there. As he would speak of shit talking his sand shinigai would raise his eyebrow and sigh. "What the f-" He would utter before seeing the man head in his direction. "Oh... A fight..." Shinigai said as he would run in the same direction of the man, He had closed in about 7 meters before raising up both of his hands in the direction of the man. Shinigai would remember who this weirdo had been. The same weirdo who he worked with on the cleaning mission, who had seemed to be a little egotistical at this point. As shinigai would be 8 meters from the man his hands would begin to make weird motions as the skin that sat in front of his finger tips would peel back in a bloody fashion and 10 bone tips would shoot out from his hand.

As the bullets flew toward him Tatsuya would throw himself onto his knees, sliding another meter forward as he threw his body back and slid under the path of the bullets with a power slide. They were now 7 meters apart.

His puppet, which didn't have to dodge because it hadn't been aimed at, would respond by floating behind Tatsuya, lighting up its eyes and mouth and letting out a creepy mechanical giggling noise. The Deadlights would light up Tatsuya's body and be pointed toward Shinigai. They were quite bright but Shinigai was not close enough for them to blind him. They also extended 20 meters from the puppet itself which was important for 2 reasons.

1. Since the spotlight was behind him Tatsuya would be backlit by the bright light and appear as nothing but a silhouette to Shinigai. Striking a pose in front of a spotlight would probably do nothing for the man's opinion of Tatsuya but it would make it impossible for him to tell that he was currently holding a Rat kata close to his chest as he activated his Shadow Possession Technique.

2. Since the light extended for 20 meters and was behind Tatsuya this would make his shadow extend 20 meters in front of Tatsuya as well. This meant when he activated his Shadow Possession Technique their shadows would already be touching. Hopefully, Shinigai would realize too late to do anything about it.

As shinigai would notice the man dodging his attack he would notice two things occur. The first would be the clattering of the puppet and his eyes which would begin to glow. Growing every second. Shinigai's eyes would widen as he would do a roll towards the man. Landing him about 3 meters from him. As he would begin to raise up loosing his sandals as they would fly backwards. One foot would be pressed against the sand as his right knee and hands would press down upon it as well. Looking up he would squint at the brightness of the light not noticing the darkness of the ground. As he waited on the ground he would begin to pump his bones into the ground from both his foot and hands hoping this would go unnoticed. Within seconds it would travel half a meter to the enemy and then sprout meter tall bones for 7 meters easily covering the 3 meter space between the two. As they would come from the ground and instantly split, had the man not been quick enough to get 7 meters from him he would find himself in some danger.

A few things happened at once. Since Shinigai moved forward into the light he would actually put himself into the range to become blinded by it, unexpected to be sure, but appreciated, so he would be blinded for the duration of his next post. Secondly, the Shadow Possession would be successful, though unfortunately, it did nothing to inhibit Shinigai's attack. Even if he had been paralyzed immediately than he'd still have been in range. Thirdly, Tatsuya transitioned from Shadow Possession to Shadow Imitation. He tried to jump forward and flip, to make Shinigai copy the movement but was thrown off by the bone spikes that came out of the sand. He had partially avoided them by jumping but one had cut a nasty gash up the side of his torso and it had torn through his flak jacket like it wasn't even there, scary. Tatsuya would kip back up and, while he still had Shinigai blinded and bound, would use his puppet's Hidden Napalm Launcher. The puppet would fly through the air and circle around Shinigai from about 5 meters away, attempting to coat him from all sides with the adhesive napalm spray. Adhesive it was because if it hit his body he would not be able to easily get it off.

As shinigai would get to close to the light he would go blind right after. His jutsu still traveling in the direction of the man. As he would suddenly feel as his body would make movements he did not issue to it. Suddenly jumping back he had not known what was going on but he would try to force himself to do his own bidding as he began to move his body and take a step forward breaking what ever was taking a hold of his body and moving about a meter in front of himself. HE would use whatever confusion this would cause to make Meter long bone spikes grow from every outer inch of his body all being spaced apart by a inch or two. He would look much like a porcupine going into defense mode as he they would quickly shoot from his body and pierce anything that was within the 10 meter radius. A quarter way through flying around Shinigai had the puppet continued through the air it would also be hit by the bones unless the man could block it from being hit with his bones either by getting him out of range or blocking it with his body. His aim was to grow the distance between the him and the enemy so that he would get more time to regain his eyesight. He could not see but that didn't mean he would lay down his weapons and stop fighting. As he would jet to his right, as his arm would begin to sting from the napalm, he knew whatever had caused it was not in this direction, moving 6 meters to the right.

Tatsuya didn't really have much to defend himself in the face of an omnidirectional A-rank attack. He flew his puppet back to him to defend as best it could from the random but far-reaching attack. What it couldn't deflect with its scythe was stuck into its body, destroying it, and one caught Tatsuya deeply in the right leg and he fell to one knee.

"Damn! You got me! Good ta see you Moonies can put up a good fight."

Shinigai would regain his vision and look to the man. Wincing in pain from the burns he had gotten he would walk over to the nara and reach for the bone that had pierced the man. Pulling it out he would growl a bit listening to him say the word Moonies. It wasn't a term he liked to be call but he would allow it seeing as the man probably forgot his name. "Its shinigai... don't forget it.." He said as he reached out his hand to help the man up. "You can get on my back till we get back to the village. I dont mind helping a skilled shinobi out. How did you stop my movement from before?" He said showing some signs of respect to the man.
