The poignant effect of that made him hate himself even further how could he have been beaten by such a weakling? Or was he the one who was actually weak?
The self actualization that had lead to the belief that he was less than someone else, and not the strongest of his generation had chilled him to his core. How could that be the case? No, he was the lord of the long night, and the head of the Ketseuki clan. He was what went bump in the night! He was the bringer of the end times!
