Your finger slides through the course stone opening in the door until you feel the hole stop. The tip of your finger gently brushes the backside of the stone door as you patiently wait for what is to come. An eerie silence befalls the area, your breath quickens, a bead of sweat drops from your forehead, and finally, something happens. The eyes of the skull begin to glow a deep red, as if by magic. The door shakes for a brief second as a demonic voice billows forth from the door.

"The Demon has found you worthy"

Then in an instant, without warning, a cold piece of steel slides across the opening of the hole, the very hole your finger is currently in. It happens so fast, you barely have time to react before the pain sets in, warm red blood pooling around the opening of the hole. The steel slides back, releasing your finger, only to reveal that it is no longer there. Blood begins to pour from the cleanly cut wound as the stone door shakes even more violently this time, sliding sideways into the earth revealing a dark hole boring its way into the earth.

A warm, dry and musty smell meets your nose as you slowly make your way into the tunnel. Its dark, all around you a stone corridor descends deeper and deeper into the earth, but you push forward. After a few moments the tunnel levels out, only to open up into a small stone room. It is incredibly dark, however a few beams of light can be seen from the ceiling, tiny cracks in the stone and ground allow for slivers of sun light to enter, giving you just enough light to help you see. The room is made of stone for the most part, and is a perfect square, twenty meters by twenty meters. You look around the room taking notice of the fact that it seems to be barren. Until your eyes see it, and stop.

Directly across the room from where you entered, against the wall is a massive stone statue. It depicts an evil looking man, his face covered and his eyes staring intently at you. In his hands, a stone depiction of the very blade you came here to find, The Executioner blade. On either side of this statue is a door, one on the right side and one on the left, shrouded in darkness. As you take in the awe of the statue, you notice a stone plaque at its base, with words etched into it. You close in on the statue to get a closer look, seeing that these words appear to be scratched into the stone.

"Here, the final resting place of a man with no name. Feared through out history, only to meet his demise by an emotion no one knew he possessed. Thousands of men slaughtered, cities cleaved, and nations shaken, only to be conquered by love. This is not the story of the Executioner, but the story of the woman who finally tamed him. For this tomb belongs to three souls, The Executioner, his wife, Vivian Stern, and the sword that coated this land in blood. Those who stumble upon this grave, take this as your warning, turn back, leave this cursed place alone. For the man who holds the blade is not the demon you must fear."

The words linger on your mind, unsure of what to make of what you just read. You take a moment to gather yourself, you now have one of three choices to make. Do you take head of the stones warning, turn back and leave the tomb? Or do you venture deeper, taking either the left or right tunnel, both that without a doubt take you on a surprising and unexpected journey.

    Which door do you take

Kuso...as the pain set in, the young Hyuuga would let out a little scream, unable to stop it from escaping her lips. So the sacrifice was real..she thought as the metal slice her pinkie finger off cleanly. She hadn't expected that to happen, as she saw her own blood gush from her wound, slightly disturbed and numbed from pain and surprise. The girl hadn't had much time to reflect nor to tend to her injury as the door would open. She didn't expect to lose a finger, nor did she expect that the door would open. She quickly tore a piece of the end of her dress off and bandaged her wound. At least she had not chosen a finger of too much importance.

The young girl ventured into the dark hole slowly, her eyes shifting left and right. Her guard was up and alert, ready for any sudden happenings. She would advance cautiously since she had already lost a finger, she was not ready to lose any more body parts, let alone her life. She would find herself into a small room and noticed how there was close to nothing, except an incredibly massive stone statue against a wall. Ami's hand fingered the hilt of her blade as she carefully made her way to the statue.

She read the inscription with a frown. The girl's expression didn't clear as she thought about the words carefully. She looked at her hand, wrapped in the cloth of her own dress and then again at the words. As ominous as it felt, the Hyuuga wasn't about to back down. It was not like her to back down, and not like her to turn back especially if it meant the pride of her clan. Ami took a deep breath and thought long and hard about which door to take. Right or left...right or left...the girl closed her eyes, her nerves finally calming down. She would open her eyes after a moment filled with determination. She decided to take the right door.

Not sure what was ahead, she would venture deeper into the tomb.

You turn to the right, eyeing the right tunnel, that is the path you choose to take. As you make your way down the right tunnel, it gets harder and harder to see, as the light from the previous room slowly starts to fade away. Eventually you are engulfed in pure darkness, unable to see a single thing around you. You place your good hand against the tunnel wall, using it to guide you along, until the wall is no longer there.

Even though you can not see, you can feel the room open up, the air circulating around you. It is warm, dank and dry, however you can feel a light breeze coming from the other side of this darkened room, signaling an exit of some kind. You stand at the end of this tunnel, staring blankly into a pitch black room. You do not know its size, or what lies beyond, only that to venture further you must cross this room.

The young Hyuuga would advance slowly, choosing the right tunnel. her hand never releasing her clasp from the hilt of her sword as she treaded slowly. Darkness would take hold of her vision, the slightest amount of light from earlier all but disappeared as she treaded forward. There was no turning back as she took a deep breath, mentally preparing herself for the unknown. Ami didn't like darkness, vulnerablility and weakness overloading her senses. It was surprising how much of an affect taking out one's major senses would be to the mind. She would extend her other hand to what she guessed was the wall as she walked now, using it as guidance.

The air shifted as she moved on, the closeness of the tunnel from before replaced by a warm and dry feeling. She guessed she had found an opening or room of some sort. Her suspicions were confirmed as she saw a dim light in the distance. Squinting to get a better view, she could barely see the light from where she stood. She would keep going, bracing what may lie ahead, her guard not wavering even for a moment as she stepped into the room.

As you move through the dark room, you try to gather your footing, moving as slowly as you can. The room is pitch black, making it almost impossible to tell where you are going. You move about five meters forward through the room, taking it inch by inch, until your lead foot comes to rest at the edge of an opening. You instantly stop, feeling around with your foot as you quickly realize there is a hole in the stone floor in front of you. You have no idea how large or deep this hole is, but it is for sure in your way.

Each step she would take was like walking on eggshells. She took a deep breath, calming her nerves as she was still adjusting to the darkness. It was scary, the Hyuuga admitted, to have one of her most relied senses taken away just like that. Though her Byakugan gave her some training in the lack of colour but at least she would be able to see chakra points, identifying her opponents. But Ami knew that even her Byakugan wouldn't help right now. She also no longer had the safety of a wall to feel and advance. So she'd have to improvise, meaning she'd use her feet to get her footing.

Ami was not at all at ease as she took the first step. Not an adventurer nor risk taker, she was surprised at herself for coming this far. And for a treasure of sorts that she knew very little about. At least she was finally out of her comfort zone which consisted only her clan compounds. Her parents always treated her like a princess and now this princess was not just adventuring out but making physical sacrifices, remembering her severed finger. She only prayed to make it out of this mess alive.

She immediately halted as her right foot felt the edge of an opening on the ground. Ami felt her toes reach the brink of the opening and her heart almost stopped. She had no idea how big the hole was or how far it stretched on the ground, meaning she didn't know if she could walk around it to get to the exit. What was even more disturbing was the unknown depth of the hole. Well she had no choice but to find out herself as Ami took one more step forward, feeling her footing give way to air.

You continue forward, deciding to walk off the edge and into the hole. Your body begins to plummet downwards as the wind rushes past you, the darkness of the hole engulfing you completely. After several seconds of falling you slam into the bottom of the hole, feeling solid ground suddenly impact the bottom of your feet. Shooting pain rockets up your legs and into the rest of your body. While it is extremely painful, you manage to retain consciousness, holding on with pure will. (First attack prevention has been consumed) You look around, still cloaked in darkness, trying to figure out what to do next, as you feel a gust of wind from in front of you, indicating an opening or tunnel of some kind directly ahead of you.

    Shit...

The girl would regret it almost as soon as she felt herself plunging into the hole. She wasn't trying to commit suicide but at this point it certainly felt that way. The drop was not long at all as she would only feel the wind brush through her hair and over her face for seconds. But she had hoped that it would have, as she connected to the ground feet first. Her feet collided with whatever the bottom was, unsure of whether it was concrete or something else. Whatever it was, the pain she felt was severe enough for her to scream out, her voice echoing and resonating through the room. It was definitely not a beautiful landing, and the pain she felt further proving this to be true.

Slightly winded from the abrupt crash to the ground, Ami would take a few moments to regain her composure, the piercing pain temporarily controlling the rest of her body, rendering her immobile. Her vision even blurred for that brief moment. She would carefully move her body once the pain subsided just a fraction. She could hear a ringing in her ears from the sudden impact. But she found she was still able to move her legs, which was a miracle in and of itself. The girl was afraid of seeing how deformed her feet may have become, happy for once of the pitch darkness surroundings. She would move across the ground like a snake, using her upper body to drag herself forward until her feet would regain function.

What is that? She could feel the wind pick up, the same way it had when she had found the room she was in just moments ago. Could this be an opening? She still couldn't make of what exactly she had fallen into, knowing that she now really had no choice but to continue forward. Ami would wince as she tried to stand up, wobbling to the direction of where the wind was blowing. How many more of these falls and injuries she could take was beyond her. But sadly it was no longer up to her.

Still trying to recoup from the pain of the fall, you push forward, assuming you have but one choice, to venture deeper into the dark abyss. The tunnel leads you upwards, the darkness continue to grow all around you. Eventually you feel yourself level out, and feel the room open up around you even if you still could not see. You once again are met with a large, pitch black room.

Ami would wince in pain as she struggled to a half crawling position, her legs still radiating pain from the fall. It was an unaccustomed pain, as she had never broken bones nor suffered such a fall. Her senses continued to blur, tossed together like a mix salad as she crawled along the ground, trying to get her minimal bearings back. It was an excruciating process. The Hyuuga took her katana and jabbed the end of it in the ground, lifting her tattered body up for support to an upright position. She was glad she wasn't really all that heavy. Had she been just a few pounds heavier, her weight would have prevented her from not looking like a half crab half snake crawling on the ground.

She grunted as she leveled herself, still using her weapon as a cane of sorts. She wondered if anyone else who had been here and gone through these trials looked half as tattered as she did. By now the darkness enveloping her gave her a strange sense of comfort. It was compelling but the tension in her mind would ease slightly. It wasn't because she could see, but she felt used to it, seeking comfort from it. She figured if she embraced it, it would become less intimidating. Taking slow and wobbly steps forward, Ami felt the ground under feet shift as she hit a different floor, indicating that she was once again going to be met with a clearing. The closeness of where she had fallen replaced with the stifling openness of what she guessed to be another room.

    Just what was this place?

As you continue to hobbled your way into the next room, your heart drops as this room is no brighter than the one before it. You slowly push forward, trying your best to make your way through the darkness, only to feel something underneath your feet depress. You feel the stone beneath your foot sink into the floor, as a loud grinding noise instantly fills the room. Sand and dirt fall from the ceiling above as you hear the ceiling of the room beginning to slowly push downwards, towards you. The room was collapsing in on itself, and the young girl would only have moments to decide what to do next.

Ami should have seen it coming but she was too focused on the mundane task of keeping her balance as she practically limped forward, with her sword acting as a cane. The girl stopped abruptly as she saw the ceiling above her start to give way. Shit...that was not what she had expected nor what she was really ready for. The young Hyuuga now had no time to think, as she would try to run out of the room, unsure of which direction to head to. She couldn't see any opening but she would run across the room as she saw the sand and dirt fall.

The girl prayed that there would be an opening of sorts, her mind so focused on not getting crushed by the collapsing ceiling that she had all but forgotten the pain in her legs. Although she struggled to move at first, her will would let her, as does will when faced with life and death situations. Ami looked frantically around the now caving room, trying to look for a possible exit.

You make your way across the room as quickly as you can, trying to out run the now collapsing ceiling. You continue to not be able to see anything as the room is still pitch black, however as you reach the other end of the room, you use your hands to feel around, looking for an exit. Your hands feel the wooden surface of three doors built into the wall, one in the center, one on the left and one on the right. The ceiling continues to move downwards as you contemplate which door to take.

The girl would still be able to feel or sense the room around her collapsing as she made her way forward as best as she could. It was still completely dark, so every step she took was still cautious though quick, even with her injured legs. She would reach the other end of the room, or at least a wall that indicated that it was the other side of the room. She felt around with her hands, grateful that she still had her sense of touch to help guide her. Ami would frown as her fingers came across what felt like wood. Was that a door? Still hoping that she wouldn't die from the collapsing ceiling, she maneuvered her fingers across the wooden surface.

    No...three doors...

She could distinctly feel that there were three different doors. Ami was not very good at choosing things, but she was more afraid of death than choice at this moment. She was still thinking when she felt the ceiling continuing to come down, the space around her beginning to suffocate. The Hyuuga would have to choose quick. Closing her eyes, she allowed herself about three seconds to choose and the next second when she opened her eyes, she chose the door in the center, pushing on the wooden surface and praying that she had made the right choice.
