Traveling to The Barrens

Tatsuya had packed up a bag and was headed out to The Barrens. People were in a tizzy about a legendary sword that was supposed to be somewhere out there and goddamn if Tatsuya wasn’t one of them! Swords are fucking cool! There was an open mission for Nikkousato shinobi to go and try and collect any clues they could about the location of the blade. Each village wanted the blade for themselves of course. They were allied now but who knew if they would always be? And of course, there were people who’d love to have it for their own personal reasons like that legendary swords are really fucking cool!

He set off from the village via the Kataki Road, seeing no reason to cut through the wilderness to get there. There were plenty of people traveling the road these days so they were safer than ever and of course Tatsuya would just kill anyone who tried to attack him so he wasn’t particularly worried about his safety, to begin with.

It would take him a few days to get to where he was going so he was packed for a few nights travel. He wasn’t one to waste money on board anywhere so he just brought a sleeping bag that would let him camp out and save some cash for fun once he returned home. He had some food on him but it was mostly for snacking. He would be able to catch and cook enough food to feed himself and salt some of the meat for eating later.
