An ancient swords man that was said to roam the ninja world, striking down his foes faster than a bolt of lightning. His source, a pair of twin short swords, sharper and deadlier than any sword made before it. It is said that this swordsman took a solid block of steel, and instead of melting it down in a forge, used it like a lightning rod and smelted it down with several bolts of pure lightning. After melting the steel down, he crafted a set of twin short swords, then went on a rampage with them. He was feared all through out the nation, earning the title, Lightning Fang. The swordsman was said to have met his fate one day, falling victim to a deadly beast, leaving the swords to be buried to time. However the blades were recently discovered by a mysterious troupe of gamblers, who then vanished just as quickly as the swords had.

Function: Like most swords, this one is used for stabbing, slicing and cutting. However due to the double spikes built into each blade, the blades can become very versatile. The spikes can be used to stab into things or people, giving it a unique angle when striking. They can also be used to stop advancing blades, or block on coming attacks, and makes it less than possible to slide a weapon down. They can also be used to hook into objects, giving the owner a stronger grip on whatever they are dug into.
Abilities:
Statically Charged: Due to basically being made out of pure lightning, these blades are always statically charged. This gives the wielder the unique ability of harnessing that lightning through the use of the swords. As long as the user is wielding the blades, they can use lightning style bukijutsu techniques through the weapons. The owner can create and apply for lightning bukijutsu, then use them, but only if they still posses the blades, and they are using the jutsu on or through the swords. This can be done even if you do not posses lightning or Bukijutsu as your element or specialty. If you no longer posses the weapons, you can no longer use those lightning based bukijutsu techniques.
Lightning Rod: As the blades themselves are flowing with lightning and static energy, it naturally flows into the body of those holding the swords, charging their body as well. As long as the user is holding both swords, one in each hand, they can not become paralyzed by lightning based techniques. This prevents any form of lightning based skill, jutsu or effect to paralyze any part of their body. They can still become paralyzed by other effects, such as poison, as long as it is not lightning based. In addition, any lightning based technique they use, regardless of specialty, is reduced by 5 chakra, allowing any lightning based skill to become cheaper and easier to use. They do not need to be holding the blades to get the chakra reduction, but must have them on their body.
In a flash: As the blades charge the body, this increases the physically prowess of the body, allowing them to move faster and with more agility. As long as the user is holding both weapons, one in each hand, they gain an extra 5 MPP, and their MPP can not be reduced or taken away from them by any means. Any form of jutsu or effect that would normally slow down an enemy or take away their MPP will have no effect on the person using these blades. They can move normally as if never effected.
