- Spoiler:
Round one was a rough mental game for all participants, however those who managed to use their wits and expert knowledge gathering skills managed to pass the exam and earn their ticket to round two. The second round of the exams were going to be a completely different monster though. While round one was meant to test a ninja's mental strength, round two would put their combat abilities to the test, and their ability to navigate a battlefield, using everything to their advantage. The group who had moved on had now been divided into two teams of two, with each team pitted against each other in an objective based scenario.
The battlefield was a 26 meter by 20 meter rectangular field with a 6 meter wide river that ran right through the center of the field. The river itself had a depth of 20 meters deep and was a fast paced running river that ran beneath three small bridges. These bridges sat 10 meters above the river and connected both sides of the battlefield. Each of the three bridges were 6 meters long and 2 meters wide, with the center bridge being made out of wood and the outer two bridges being made out of stone. The stone bridges were built in a way so that they could not easily be destroyed by outside forces, however the wooden bridge was made out of light weight material and is easily destructible.
At either end of the battlefield, in a small 2 meter by 2 meter sand pit, sits a flag, one red and one blue. Outlining the perimeter of the battlefield sits a stone pathway with three paths that connect one end of the battlefield to the other, with a small dense forest area sitting in between all of these path ways. Each team is led onto the battlefield blindfolded and stationed at their teams flag, only to have the pieces of cloth removed once they are in position. The objective was simple, capture your enemies flag while protecting your own, however it came with a few rules. The flags could not be destroyed, and in fact were imbued with magical plot armor chakra to prevent the flag from being destroyed in anyway. You also could not touch your own flag, no matter what. The team that was able to grab their enemies flag first and do so while none of the opposing team was standing in their sand pit, would win the round.
