Steel vs Bone [Private | Fight]

Arashi walked through the road, he wasn't actually on a mission he just wanted to go on a walk, he headed north-east of Nikkousato and was already getting to some trees near the plains. It was a nice day, the sky was blue but there were also some small clouds sprinkled in, they lazily floated about adorning the sky, in other words just the type of day Arashi liked. he had most of his ninja equipment, his Katana, his set of 5 explosion notes, and his windmill shuriken. He was dressed in his blue hakama with his cloak over it, which would float behind him as there was a slight breeze blowing it diagonally backward.

He sighed. "I really like days like this... It's just so peaceful..." He talked to himself in a low volume, as he used to do when he was alone, he would calmly walk taking in the change of scenery from the desert. After a while of walking, he finally got to a forested area, the greens and browns of the trees helping him to relax. Although his relaxation should not be confused with lack of awareness, as the way he often found himself when relaxing was a more outwards state rather than inwards, which meant he was fully aware of his surroundings, so surprising him wouldn't be easy, as his awareness meditation continued he decided to lean his back against a tree.

He was tired... He was hungry... and he was a bit broke. Walking through the forest most of the night he had lost his wallet filled with his money and would retrace his steps. "And i thought i was the dumb one! You've had the body for a day and you lost all of our money! Stupid higher demons" Near would say to the man known as pride. "Quiet!" Pride would reply as he would search the ground for any trace of the wallet. Sure someone had probably found it and scurried off with it but he would still look around for it.

Suddenly from afar Pride would see as man leaning against a tree. He seemed to of been enjoying the day and the peacefulness of the weather. Suddenly a smile would come upon his face. "we're robbing him!" The demon would say to pride in his mind as he would walk up to the man with his sword in hand he had been about 4 meters from the man as he would draw his katana and speak. "Give me your money and ill leave you be, or die where you stand..." Near would say as he would chuckle a bit waiting for the man's answer.

At some point while he was enjoying some peaceful time, Arashi heard someone drawing a sword, apparently, this someone intended to rob him? and he even chuckled while doing so? he couldn't help but give a similar response. "Not even a sneak attack? just straight up I'm robbing you?" Arashi chuckled a little "You know... I'm not gonna be that easy." Arashi looked at whoever was trying to rob him and started to draw his own sword, as soon as he did, he would slash at the air in front of him, sending a wave of cutting chakra which would travel 5 meters towards Shinigai, hopefully cutting him or distracting him enough for Arashi's second move. He would run closer to the Kaguya and attack with his sword.

Near would watch as the man would also chuckle saying that his head on approach to robbing someone was basically dumb. Near wasn't used to how the ninja of this world would go about robbing someone but he knew how to fight as the epidermis of his skin would grow a new layer underneath it. It had been his kkg. Near would see the attack coming at him and would falter a bit with the attack as it pushed him back a meter. Suddenly he would see the man come in for another attack. Near had chosen a great opponent but that had not been what he wanted to do. As he would release his own katana from his left hand and reach out to grab the blade that was coming his way. Wrapping his hands around the blade and gripping it tightly Near would begin to channel lightning chakra into his hand and thrust it forward into the enemies chest who had been barely a meter from Near, Just enough distance to try and strike the man. The blade would barely pierce through the skin of his hand as it would begin to hit a white layer of bone underneath. "Fear me!"

As the man lifted his hand to grab Arashi's sword, he almost hesitated... Almost... Arashi would use the momentum he had acquired with his running start to jump and flip over him, letting go of the sword with the right hand while barely holding it with his left. As he turned and spun over him, Arashi would concentrate his own lightning chakra into his hands creating claw-like constructs of electricity, letting go of his weapon he would slash the back of his opponent with his right claw, and immediately after he would jump backward0 "Sorry if I don't." While Arashi didn't exactly like being cocky, sometimes he couldn't avoid it in a fight situation.

The enemy would dodge his attack with a simple motion but would lose one of his main ways to fight back as shinigai would release the blade as the man would release it and then give off a smile. The crackling of the Chidori would stay in his hands as he had not hit anything with it giving him another few moments to use the jutsu. As the man would be over his head Near would begin a spin that would cause the wind around him to be created and push back everything that was within 5 meters of him. This would stop the claw attack from the enemy and push him back as he had been just over the male and probably had no way to change his path in mid air. The two blades would be sent back to the enemies original position with the force of the wing and both be stabbed into the tree that was 6 meters from him. With the chidori in hand he would stop spinning to see where the man would now land.

When his opponent started to spin, Arashi couldn't help but brace for the impact of his wind jutsu. He flipped yet again to land on his feet just 4 meters behind his opponent, a bit before landing he did some hand seals, and as soon as he landed he unleashed his Electricity Granade Jutsu, shooting a marble-sized ball of lightning directly to Shinigai's torso, hopefully hitting him with it. This ball would stick wherever it hit and then explode in a 5-meter radius, electrocuting everyone in the area, just to be safe Arashi jumped backward again going 6 meters back and a total of 10 away from his opponent, at this distance he would wait to see what his next move would be

As the raging winds would continue as shinigai would regain his footing and cross his arms he would wait. He had known that the man was struck by the wind attack but he had not known just how far the enemy had been sent back. He would know one thing tho. The enemy was at the least 3 meters from him as the wind would begin to lift the wind around him he would immediately step into the air cauing him to dodge the marble size ball which would strike the tree 6 meters behind him and go off. Not flinching from the sound of the electric bomb he would uncross his arms as he floated in the air with the use of his jutsu. Raging winds would stir up around him and then be sent directly to the man's position. "Cyclone scythe." His chidori releasing from his hand as he would activate this jutsu as it would travel the 10 meters in seconds in an attempt to strike and cut the enemy multiple times.

Arashi was mildly surprised at his opponent dodging his technique with such ease, and as soon as Shinigai started to gather wind chakra around himself, Arashi prepared his own jutsu. With 2 hand-seals he gathered his lightning chakra around him and activated his Lightning Dash Jutsu, he used all his bursts of speed to move to the right and out of the way of the Cyclone Scythe. then prepared his next jutsu the Lightning Eagle, he would run towards Shinigai 5 meters and after this, he would release his technique. The eagle soared through the sky moving towards Shinigai 7 meters trying to tackle him

The man had easily dodged his first attack but now it had been time for the real fight to begin as Shinigai would begin to free fall for a second as his foot would almost hit the ground as the man would complete his hand signs he would see the lightning begin to build just as it would shoot off from the man shinigai would complete yet another step of wind as he would go three meters into the air once more being able to dodge the bird, seconds later he would stick out his foot and aim it at the center of the man's torso. A force would push him through the air as he would complete a Dynamic entry. With the bird heading for the tree that was suffering most of the attacks of the battle. Shinigai would travek the full 5 meters to reach his enemy.

Yet again the Kaguya had dodged Arashi's attack by jumping in mid air, then he did one of the most basic taijutsu. Arashi turned to his left while sliding slightly to his right, he moved just enough to avoid the kick as it came down but before his opponent managed to land Arashi grabbed his opponent's leg and swing him against the ground. After that he would channel lightning chakra into his legs, releasing his Lightning Talon technique readying himself to kick him

Suddenly shinigai would feel his leg be grabbed by the man that had sidestepped his basic attack,. Oh it he had been a smart man until he would grab hold of Shinigai's leg. A surprised look would appear on his face as this would occur. No man or woman had touched shinigai in years and this man would find out why as sharp bones would pierce through his skin as the man would make contact with his skin. It would start where the man would first touch him causing the man's hand to be pierced through if he couldn't move it and cancel his attacks. The bones would fill his whole body and then merge into a cage around Shinigai's body. A sharp cage that would double up and stretch a meter from his body and would not leave a single hole in the outer cage for the man to attack Shinigai. The enemy had been close enough for the sharp edges of the cage to dig deep into his skin if he would attack with the talons on his legs. But the choice would be simple, would the man lose his foot and suffer the full force of the attack The power of the Dance of the Hedgehog.

Almost as soon as Arashi took hold of his opponent, bones sprouted from his ankle piercing the skin just above his wrist. Arashi let go immediately as he felt the stab on his arm, although some force had already been transferred making Shinigai be launched slightly upwards, the combined forces of Arashi jumping back and Shinigai flying 1 meter forward, this helped the bones cut into his hands as the bones grew longer digging deeper into him, thankfully Arashi managed to get away, with a slightly mutilated but still usable hand, sure he was bleeding and his hand hurt like hell to move, but he wouldn't let this stop him.

Arashi kept jumping back until he was 7 meters from him, while a cage of bones formed around Shinigai, he realized fighting this opponent in hand-to-hand combat would end up with him losing, so he would have to be more careful and pull out stronger things he immediately attached 3 explosion notes to his windmill shuriken making a bomb that would explode with a radius of 7 meters, he would wait for the Kaguya's next move with this bomb in hand.

Rigging the Windmill Shuriken with 3 explosive notes

Shinigai's jutsu would fade as he would hit the ground face first. Looking up to the enemy he would quickly stand up and run 2 meters before he would let a small ball come from his hands. This ball would fill up the area with smoke as shinigai would disappear in the smoke. Keeping his eyes locked forward he would jump to the right 5 meters before throwing his own windmill shuriken in the direction of the boy hoping to him as he would send it flying around his chest area. Shinigai would feel a bit of blood on his ankles as he felt a bit gross having another person's blood on his body. but it was what he needed to do to try and win this battle as it would come close to its close.

When Arashi's opponent stood up and started running towards him, he noticed a small canister in his hand, not much after everything was covered in smoke, this smoke barely got to Arashi but was enough to make the opponent's move almost unpredictable, still, he wouldn't just be a sitting duck. Before the smoke finished setting Arashi quickly set an explosion note on the floor, and then moved 7 meters back getting out of the smoke-screen's range, at that point he saw a windmill shuriken fly diagonally out the smoke apparently Shinigai threw one at his last known location. Still even though he was our of it he didn't want to put up with it so he detonated the explosion note that was set on the ground cre
Ating a shock wave that dispersed most of the smoke. A small crater was left where Arashi used to be. As some of the smoke dispersed he waited to see any signs of what his opponent would do next.

First Action: setting the explosive note on the ground

Suddenly an explosion would occur. The force of the explosion would cause most of the smoke to be pushed back from the area but there had still been a good five meters that the young man shinigai could use as cover. His face would stick out of smoke for a small second to see just where his enemy had been without a second thought he would cross his arms and the winds would pick up around him once more causing the smoke around him to clear and many quick slices of wind would fly through the air toward the man that had been 12 meters from his enemy. Most of the trees and grass would be cut up by the sheer force of this wind as it would fly toward his enemy.

That jutsu again... Arashi would prepare for the release of the Cyclone, as soon as Shinigai shot it Arashi would jump to his left several times moving 7 meters total and dodging it completely. After this he would throw his rigged shuriken towards his opponent and would attempt to detonate it as close to the Kaguya as possible

Second Action : exploding it as close to Shinigai as possible

Suddenly as shinigai would watch the blade leave the hands of his enemy he would make a couple of hand signs. Wind signs that would cause him to suck in some air before releasing it toward the blade. Three bullets would quickly shoot out from his mouth the first would strike the Shuriken only 5 meters from the enemy and cause it to fly off course as well as striking the tags and ripping them apart. The next three would head straight for his enemy as 1 aimed to strike the man at his chest and the other at his neck.

Damn that was a waste... Arashi would think as he jumped 1 meter to his right to dodge the wind bullets, He would then run 6 meters towards his opponent closing half the distance of 12 meters between them.

Shinigai would watch as the boy would continue on a path to his destruction as he would reach into his pouch and throw out a kunai. The kunai would fly through the air as it would aim for the man's face in an attempt to either strike his neck and cause him to bleed out or to hit his mouth and cause him to back or run away. As shinigai would take a huge leap backward about 7 meters to keep the distance as he would try to preserve his own energy for a bit as he would think of his next attack.

Arashi would keep running towards his opponent, grabbing his sword's scabbard which was still strapped to his left hip, he took it out and deflected the kunai that was aimed at his face with an upwards motion. The kunai flew up and fell slightly behind him as he kept running forwards getting 7 meters closer again.

Shinigai would simply smile as he watched the man continue his pursuit. Suddenly something would fall out of his hand as he would step back a meter. Suddenly the area would begin to fill up once more with smoke as it would blind both of the opponents vision. Shinigai would then jump back 5 meters and then raise his hands toward his enemy before shooting off 10 bone pellets. Two would be aims for his eyes, the rest would make a straight line down the man and aim to bluntly strike his body. After so he would move to the right a meter.

Again with the smokescreen? Arashi thought to himself a little exasperated by the repeated trick. He didn't know where his opponent would strike but he would still change his position as to not be an easy target, He jumped to his left 7 meters getting out of the smoke. Getting a bit annoyed at the Kaguya's tricks, he would use a gift from a friend to end this fight, summoning the Executioners Blade to his hand, he would use one of his bukijutsu techniques to augment the range of the weapon by 15 meters giving it a total range of almost 17 meters. he grabbed the sword with both hands and swung horizontally towards the smoke screen swiping it entirely from one side to the other, the swing was strong enough that some of the smoke dissipated as the slice traveled through it, this would hopefully get Shinigai who should still be inside the smokescreen.

There the battle would end. Suddenly shinigai would hear something fast coming through the smoke. Sure it was dumb of him to blind himself with this smoke but he did not think the man had something that could deal so much damage. As he would instinctively activate his larch dance as his arm would be struck by the attack. A slash would appear on his stomach as Shinigai would spit up blood. The Smoke would begin to clear a bit but shinigai would sigh. Backing away from the enemy about 7 meters before saying. "I like you.... Maybe... we can meet again. I'll be in Debon if you ever want to sit down and talk. You've peeked my interest in many ways and have earned my respect. Remember the name.... Shinigai Kaguya." He would say before he would begin to make steps backward to get far from the enemy.

As the smoke cleared, Arashi could see that his strike connected, but his opponent was retreating? He put his sword away and stayed in place waiting to see what the Kaguya would do... interestingly enough he presented himself, and then went on his way "Shinigai Kaguya..." He made a mental note to himself as his opponent retreated, he would not follow letting him go and turning to head back to Nikkousato. "I'll see you then."
