The Jungle on Fire (Group Mission)

Scouting the border...

It had been a long time she had taken this mission, her hand clasping tightly on the mission scroll as she made her way to the meeting place. Ami had focused all of her attention on escort, protection and elimination mission in the past few weeks that she was actually relieved to take on a more...subtle one, if one could call it that. She remembered the one and only time she had actually done this mission, and it had been with her long time good friend Karite. Not much had happened, except that they had let go of a fox, if her memory had served her correctly. She was told that she would be paired with a new Genin, which was always exciting. Ami was always down with meeting new people and perhaps making new friends.

The black dress hugging her body tightly, the green haired Hyuuga would make her way down the main streets of Gekkousato. Her two katana were sheathed tightly underneath a red sash, with a large bow tied behind her. She had come fully prepared, or rather preferred to be fully prepared for any situation or circumstance. Ami was told to meet her partner at Lunar Light Jungle. She had less than fond memories of the place, having been there all of three times on three different missions, all dealing with some kind of wild animal. The girl secretly hoped that they would not meet a bear, or worse, a group of bears, as she recalled the bears that had randomly attacked her and her teammates the last time. The thought alone was enough to make her shudder.

Ami would walk towards the jungle, noticing the heat and humidity right away. This was normal for the jungle but it still managed to surprise her when the temperature difference was so apparent between here and the village. She would find a boy with white hair leaning against a tree. Perhaps it was his white hair but she reminded her oddly of Jayy. His facial features seemed softer than her friend's and he definitely looked younger. The girl would approach him slowly, clearing her throat in the process to notify him of her presence in case he didn't already know. "Hyuuga Ami, nice to meet you." she would say in a soft whisper, a small smile adorning her lips as she stopped in front of him.
