Supply Drop [Solo Mission]

Letony had heard rumors surrounding the next location he would visit. Supposedly it was quite unforgiving and held a prison for serious criminals. Letony would not be venturing into the prison, rather he would be visiting a nearby outpost to deliver some much needed supplies. Letony was taking a simple stroll through the village when the messenger hawk arrived with this mission. Considering it was C-Rank, Letony was surprised by its location. He would need to ensure he brought proper supplies for even himself. So he stored a few bottles of water on his person for the journey; knowing full well how arduous the desert can be. After all this was rumored to be the harshest desert these lands contained. Letony learned this from overhearing chatter throughout the village. Although he hated crowds; he ascertained they were a vital source of information for his job and revealed things he didn’t know about the village or its lands. Letony received the required supplies from the Administration Building before exiting toward the village gates. He would leave without even acknowledging the guards that stood watch, as they were quite familiar with him leaving by now. As was Letony quite familiar with which direction he would be traveling now. In the beginning he had little sense of direction. So this aspect had improved by now.

When Letony reached the Red Sand Desert it was just as the rumors reported. It was definitely as arid and desolate as they say. Luckily, Letony sported his black cloak which shielded him from the sand and dust kicked up by the wind. He also had his white hoodie covering over his head, and his read sash would be tied around his face; part of it drooping close to his mid-section. This was only part of the time however, the winds would cause the sash to fly out behind Letony in the wind. His other wear was relatively standard, black pants and his white Konowari embroidered flak jacket. When he received the supplies for the mission, it came with a book bag to carry everything and this would be under the black cloak, for protection against the elements. At this moment Letony felt somewhat exhausted from the heat, but he was only thirty meters out from the outpost which was his destination. Letony felt determined to complete the easy C-Ranked mission, but not only for personal gain, but he wanted to ensure his comrades had sufficient supplies to carry out their duties. They were counting on him and he didn’t want to disappoint anyone. It would piss him off to fail such an easy assignment.

About ten meters from the outpost Letony would be spotted by the shinobi dwelling on the highest point of the outpost, looking down around the entire area. Letony forgot to make his forehead protector visible because up until this point he was fending off the sand and dust from the desert. Even his face was still covered by the read sash, and they could not see the supplies which were covered by the cloak. “Oh hell. I forgot,” Letony murmured to himself as a spot light shot toward him. “Halt! Identify yourself masked person!’

Letony disliked being given the command but removed the sash to reveal he had been wearing his Nikkousato forehead protector all along. The spot light shined and the shinobi above could clearly see Letony’s intent. Letony yelled out, “You should have been expecting me! I’m here to bring your supplies,” Letony said pissed off. “Oh, my bad,” the outpost shinobi responded and sent word to retrieve the supplies. Letony handed over the book bag to the outpost shinobi. By now Letony had consumed all his water so he got a refill, took a few sips, and headed back to Nikkousato with his mission complete. Now he didn’t have all those supplies holding him down.
