To hunt a rat (Group Mission)

Ami had been too focused on her battles, perhaps a little more focused than usual because of the sheer number of men that they were facing. She had half the mind to check up on Keiji, to see if he was faring alright, but with her fighting off men as they came at her, she had little liberty to do so. The girl struggled with her battles, the use of both weapon and kekkei gekkai physically taxing as she toyed with her opponents. She had wanted to feel the sense of enjoyment, empowerment that she felt over her opponents, a rush that she rarely was able to feel in normal fights. As she slit the throat of the man with her kunai, she felt his hot blood against her skin, the gushing of it reminding her one of the biggest reasons she had become a kunoichi. The girl leapt away from the man as he slumped to the ground, a pool of blood forming from where his throat was slain.

The green haired girl would turn towards who she believed was their target, since it was pretty obvious that he had bodyguards around him. It seemed that Keiji had gotten to them first, as she watched a little of what he could do. It was pretty horrific the way he used his blade, as she watched silently, her own katana unsheathed. She would throw the bloodied kunai that she had just used to slice the man's throat and aimed it at the second of the four bodyguards, the one that Keiji had attempted to split in half with his blade. The kunai would pierce through his chest, where she had aimed it to be. Ami was getting impatient, perhaps from the fatigue that she was feeling and her Byakugan was losing its effect. Turning her head to look at the remaining two men, she would attempt to take them both on, hoping that Keiji would have enough energy to take out their real target. It had been so long since she had fought such a drawn out fight, her breathing shallow as she tried to maintain her strength to plow through the rest of the men that were in her way.

She had thought about using ninjutsu, as she really liked using them and the combination of ninjutsu and taijutsu techniques worked perfectly most of the time for her. But she respected that they were swordsman, respected that Keiji had fought hard with just his blade. Ami would unsheathe the second of her two katana, now a sword each hand. Although she hadn't gained her second katana until recently, she was now so use to using both at the same time that with just one made her feel uneasy. The girl would turn to Keiji, whispering softly, "Are you alright? I'll take care of them. Finish our target off..." her voice trailed, the idea of talking in and of itself was draining her energy. She didn't notice the cut that was on his back because of her Byakugan. The girl rushed forward, pivoting to the right to attack the first man with the katana in her right hand, a simple slash to his left shoulder. She would then jump up, her legs attempting to kick him in the chest as she did a back flip, her left blade poised so as to slash him in the middle when she landed on the ground again. She was no expert swordsman, but she at least knew how to fight with her own swords. Her attention would turn to the last bodyguard, landing on one knee while she waited for the other man to attack her.

Ami struggled, the fight of two against twenty had taken a physical toll on her. She became rather careless, allowing small cuts and slashes to get her where under normal circumstances could have been easily avoided. As the man she fought dealt a deep cut to left shoulder, one that had paralyzed that part of her shoulder for a good minute, she realized that she was no longer in a position nor had the luxury to play games with her enemies. The girl would catch her opponent with a strike to his left thigh, which was immediately followed by another strike to his arm. He would drop his blade, and seeing the golden opportunity, would finish him with a stab at his chest. The green haired girl would then turn just in time to find Keiji dealing a blow to their target's eye. She pulled out two shuriken, throwing them to slash him in the torso,just in case he managed to escape death from Keiji's attack.

Her Byakugan would lose its effect at that moment, and she was able to regain her natural vision back. Adjusting her eyes to the dead bodies around them it sunk in just how bloodied the scene around looked. Ami was still trying to grasp the full extent of what they had done when she would catch Keiji falling into her arms, her hand traveling for the first time to his back and retracting it would find her hand covered with his blood. Alarmed, the young woman immediately looked at his wound and was horrified at how much blood he had lost. "Keiji! Don't sleep! Look at me!" Her words were more orders than plead as she examined his deep wound. She needed him to stay awake, for his own benefit. Ami stood up weakly herself, forgetting that her left shoulder was probablybleeding out as heavily as his back had. She needed to get them out of there and to a hospital. Taking his arm and putting it around her shoulder, she would walk weakly towards the hospital,her own wound causing her problems. She shifted her body weight to adjust to his as she half limped half walked down the streets.
