Beauty and grace are the two words most often used to describe Maya. An elegant woman known to hold herself well, with striking beauty and stunning eloquence. A broader woman, Maya is six feet and an inch, weighing one hundred and fifty two pounds with soft pale skin and ashy black hair. Flowing locks of darkness cascade down from atop her head, peppered with light shades of grey due to her bloodline, and bright green eyes that pierce the foggiest of days. While attractive in most senses, she is almost never seen without bright make up, eye shadow and lip stick. Her attire often compliments her figure, depending on the situation of course. While working she is normally seen in form fitting clothing, with most of her skin covered to protect her from heat. However when off the clock Maya can be found wearing very beautiful and elegant sets of clothing, with most articles being black evening dresses or summer gowns. Apart from her happy go lucky demeanor, the woman is almost always found wearing a bright smile, which pulls the entire look together.

A hit at parties and the light of most conversations, Maya is a very friendly and outgoing woman, who never shys away from speaking to others or engaging in conversation. Wearing a gentle smile she is easy to approach, making her very popular among social crowds. Unlike with most people however this is not a façade or a face she puts on, Maya is just a kind hearted and friendly woman. Her outgoing personality makes it easy to interact with others trying her best to be as kind to as many people as she can be. This make being a shinobi hard as she is often faced with situations that ask her to cast aside her kindness and to don a more aggressive, cold hearted personality. While it has gotten easier over the years it is never something she is totally comfortable with, and often leans on others when tasked with difficult choices.

History:
Unlike most Shinobi who grow up in this world, Maya actually had a pretty normal and average life growing up. Both of her parents were well known ninja in the Moon Village who had managed to live to the end of their duty, which was unheard of for many people. Not only did she have one parent, but she had two that lived full lives as ninja and were now ready to retire and settle down. She had a good childhood growing up, loved and spoiled by her parents and treated the best way she could have been. Deep down her parents always knew that Maya would grow up to follow in their footsteps, and that is exactly what she did. Her family was wealthy enough and well off, so going through the academy was easy enough for the girl as she had plenty of help and guidance. In a matter of no time she learned to hone her skills, excelling in most aspects of the shinobi art. While she was a good ninja, she was a better person, trying to be friendly to everyone and treat people with respect. This earned her a reputation as being a kind and compassionate person. She never really over achieved as a ninja, but with the combination of her training and her exceptional people skills, Maya quickly earned a name of her very own.
