Monkey Business

Mission Details:

Dorima moved out in a moment. He rushed out of the village making sure to hide his shadow as he rushed forward to complete his mission. He hadn't done a mission on his own as Dorima in years. The breeze caressed him as he flew threw the sand swiftly. His targets were in sight and he would settle this in moments. Dorima flashed forward plowing through the various jutsu thrown at him from the monkeys as he caught and collared one. He took a moment to heal his wounds as the three others ran. They could run but from him they could never hide! With a moment of TLC he was off once again! The monkey's were in his sight within moments. They had split up.....did they think this would shake him? With a swift set of hand signs two clones were created following the two further monkeys from a safe distance so they would not be attacked by the monkey's agitated attack. Dorima's original body charged toward the nearest one with such an intimidating force that the monkey had focused on running instead of retaliating but it was all for naught! In a moment another monkey was collared with it's bell! Next with a sharp left turn he went to replace the clone chasing the money that had run off in that direction and when the original arrived he sent that clone to backup the last clone while he handled the angry monkey throwing lightning at him. This was nothing, Dorima needed more! He needed a challenge! Dorima circled the monkey throwing lightning at him still and after a while the poor little monkey got too puttered out to continue retaliating. With an easy smile Dorima gently collared the monkey reaching in his bag to give him a banana he had brought along. He'd given the other monkey's one as well. Just then he felt his clones being poofed. "Oh? How interesting!" This was a development that piqued Dorima's interest greatly. This last little fellow might give him a bit of challenge after all. 'Heh.'

Without another thought Dorima ran swiftly but carefully forward on his way to track the last of his prey. It took a moment to find the clever little beasts tail but this wasn't a problem at all. Dorima had more then enough time and plenty of patience to spare. Once he caught the trail again Dorima was much more cautious this time. This monkey was very clever and even capable of using it's compatriots as pawns.  As if to confirm his thoughts Dorima just barely able to avoid a well hidden trap that utilized a minor bit of earth jutsu in a brilliant way so Dorima nearly fell into a rather deep hole. After avoiding it properly some small chunks of earth shot at him while at the same time the tiniest movement of a camouflaged beast disappeared in the opposite direction. It was easy to miss especially with the clever two trap assault as corer. But unfortunately Dorima was a medic! Attention to detail was his bread and butter. And another thing.... Dorima charged through the rock assault fearlessly as he avoided some of the assault so he wasn't overwhelmed but charged through the rest of the rocks without restraint and zoomed after the camouflaged blur before jumping forward and catching.....an... already belled monkey? It... it... was another decoy! The clear unmistakable sound of the monkey's bell seemed to taunt Dorima with it's mock innocent sound. How did he miss it before? It seemed he had been to focused on his hunting he hadn't realized perhaps the monkey was watching him too! At this thought Dorima calmed his thoughts and under the guise of concerned confusion at the mix-up, Dorima carefully and discreetly checked his surroundings. He didn't have long but luckily attention to detail is a medic's specialty! And this time he would be especially attentive. And this method would definitely pay off, as Dorima noticed a strange oblong shape within the trees nearby. It was almost stationary just barely moving here and there, but this in and of itself wasn't right. This didn't match the movement of the wind! Dorima raised an explosive tag as if in anger giving the caught monkey time to run as he set it off, while simultaneously activating substitution jutsu, replacing himself with a nearby log behind the suspicious tree. Just as he thought the cunning yet harmless little monkey immediately jumped down in distress thinking it took it's pranks to far. Dorima almost felt bad taking advantage of the little guys naivety as he jumped out and triumphantly placed the bell around the monkey's neck. He felt even worse when the monkey just turned and hugged him sobbing in relief. "Alright little guy, don't worry I'll come play again sometime. You're really the smartest!" After reassuring the now ecstatic monkey, who clearly just wanted a play partner for it's live shogi-like games, Dorima spent some time playing with all the monkey's some more before returning to the village to complete the mission.
