Appearance: Aura is a medium sized, pale-skinned teenage girl with bright, rosy cheeks to colorize her complexion. Their hair is mainly a snow white, so long it nearly reaches her hips. Their body is also fairly average, alongside being rather lithe, though not lacking some form of muscle. The outfit she usually wears is a white and blue kimono with a giant, red ribbon holding it together, fitting with the traditional style of her own mother. Meanwhile her alternate outfit is essentially the same thing, though shortened and created with more room for adventurous reasons. Usually, her small little hands have their nails painted a velvet color, alongside her toes, which the feet attached to them are also small. Finally, her eyes are a shiny, cloudy-baby blue color, due to her blindness, her gaze generally looking off absent-minded in the distance.

Personality: Considering her normal, albeit blessed life, there’s little to no complicated pieces of information to her character. As far as describing it is concerned, she’s an incredibly positive, happy-go-lucky individual that tries to see the bright side of everything. Though she is a bit of a spoiled brat, due to her royal upbringing, and does not have as much self awareness of herself or the world as she probably should, she generally never comes from a place of ill will. She loves to grow as a person, asking others questions and learning whatever she can. Exploration is also a part of her life that gives her some sort of purpose, as she feels like staying in the same place all the time is a waste. Even a small change of scenery, in her mind, can ease the burdens of one’s mind, and bring insight into the world. She’s a sensitive person, and as such easy to get her upset, but on the offhand also making it easier for her to sympathize with others. Finally, she seeks to please others in order to gain attention and praise, as unfortunately the one aspect of her life she lacks is approval and love from a parental figure.

History: The only complicated bits of Aura’s past consists from her conception. Her mother, known by Aurora, was part of an unknown group in the Moon Village that possessed Ice Release due to their bloodline. Despite that, however, she managed to seduce a man in the Hyuga’s Main Branch… who just also happens to be the father of another that will eventually go by ‘Ami’. Of course, this was a severe lapse in judgement on the man’s part, so while it might have caused conflict among those close to him, and his wife, however it was solved did not end in a divorce, or anything too horrible. Meanwhile, the universe decided it would be funny to kill Aurora the very day she gave birth, which meant that if this man didn’t take in his bastard child, not only would the Byakugan have the chance to fall in the wrong hands, the baby was likely to die being simply abandoned. As such, begrudgingly, Aura was allowed to grow up in the clan’s arms… albeit in a cold embrace, rather than the warmth one should expect.

Given that she wasn’t a true daughter of the Hyuga, and from neglect due to shame on her family’s part, she grew up with little to no interaction with anyone of importance, other than Ami herself. Even though they’re only a few months apart in age, Aura considers herself as their little sister, and always looked up to her loving sibling, as not only the one light in her life, but because she was everything she wished she could be. No one gave her responsibilities due to her innate blindness - even worse than that of the regular Hyuga, as she could not even comprehend shape and distance - and she was never allowed to attend the academy, or even learn the Gentle Fist. It makes sense she could not learn the clan’s secrets, due to the circumstances of her birth, after all. To top it all off, she doesn’t even possess the Byakugan at all. Unlike most, if not all members of the Hyuga, especially the main branch, she just didn’t have the All-Seeing Eyes at birth. So even if she was allowed to learn any of her Clan’s abilities, it’s physically impossible for her to perform the same feats as everyone else. All of this does not mean she had a bad life, though - no, she found her own purpose in her loneliness. While a people pleaser, and just trying to be as sweet as possible, she passes the time by traversing around the village where she’s allowed, and reads her braille books that she usually gets as gifts, wondering if one day she’ll be broken free of her rather boring life.
