The user sheds chakra paper from their body, covering the surface area around them in up to a 15m diameter circle with paper seals that have a smokescreen effect imbued with the user's chakra to make it more challenging for dōjutsu users.
The smokescreen is the initial effect while the subsequent blasts can be detonated at any point during the length of the jutsu, even alongside the initial activation of the jutsu as a whole unless the user specifically states that they have or have not done so. Activating the blasts does not take an action. The user is protected from the damages of this jutsu. A wind jutsu of the same rank of the jutsu being applied will disperse the smoke, but not the paper.

- The smokescreen effect occurs singularly at D Rank (this helps to hide those within the range), and a smokescreen effect with a subsequent concussive blast at C Rank (hides those in range and damages those within the range), and a smoke screen with a subsequent immolating concussive blast at B Rank with the strength of an explosive tag (hides those within the range, damages those within range and sets objects and items on fire, including clothing and terrain).
