Appearance:
Nemo is a average height young man. Of average physique and average weight. He is good looking, in a safe sort of way, not too pretty, nor too rough. His hair is black and styled in a shaggy mess. His skin is neither pale or tanned, but in between. He is an average, ordinary, handsome young man. At least, on the surface.

Where the veneer slips are Nemo's eyes. They are an impenetrable black void. They reveal nothing about him. To look into a person's eyes allows a certain level of intimacy. But with Nemo, a person sees nothing. And that void is terrifying to most. But in the rarest of moments, that void opens, and within it is revealed a whispering, silent fire that seeks to devour and devour until all is brought to nothing. To let this desire slip free is a rare thing indeed for Nemo.

His body is crisscrossed with pale scars. Old and faded. But otherwise he is unmarred. He bears no tattoos, and no other marks. He is a blank canvas.

This is how he likes it, no one bothering him. No one asking questions. No one knowing anything about him.

Personality:
Nemotoashi Houga is an entirely self-serving person. He does what he likes as long as he can get away with it and it serves him.  He has an insatiable love of spilling the blood of the strong, to test himself. If they can injure him, all the better. Nemo feeds on pain as though it were pleasure. For strong people, Nemo doesn't kill them unfairly, through ambush or in their sickbeds. For anyone else, he will kill instantly and without mercy if they stand in his way. The thrill of fighting and the rush of pain are the only things that Nemo lives for.

He doesn't go out of his way to kill people. He is not driven by a simple desire for murder, death and chaos. For him to fulfill his desires, the world must continue to turn. And random violence does not contribute to that. Though seeing confusion and fear on someone's face is somewhat enjoyable to him. So he will play cruel pranks or try to freak out people to unsettle them, if they are someone he has marked as an opponent especially.

He lacks any desire for romantic attachments. And he knows that he cannot always be fighting. So he enjoys verbal jousts of wit. Battles fought with words. Or games of chance, wit or strategy. Sex doesn't hold much attraction for him, except where he can use it as a tool to get what he wants. Though his sadomasochistic nature means he can rarely enjoy this activity.

The only time that Nemo is close to human is when he uses his jutsu. When he channels chakra through himself, it is as though the monster that he is falls away, the part of him that was missing is repaired. And he becomes able to feel joy, happiness. Though this is usually during combat, and thus is channeled most often toward offense.

His foremost interest is keeping himself out of trouble that he doesn't need. So he has become incredibly adept at hiding his intentions and real personality. No one has been able to see through his disguise, and no one will. He is also almost supernaturally perceptive, being able to pierce the veil of what people think very easily. Combined with his staggering intellect, Nemo is a vicious opponent no matter the field of battle.

To most people, Nemo is an average young shinobi, no hero, but no villain either. But beneath that impenetrable facade, lurks this monstrous creature.

History:
The true horror of the creature called Nemo is that he sprang from nowhere special. He was born to a nice family in the Moon Village. His father was a citizen, his mother a shinobi with the Wood Release bloodline. He and his twin sister were both born with it. He was the oldest, born first by three minutes. His parents had two more children, a boy and a girl. But as he grew, his parents would come to see that something was wrong with him. He would seek fights with the other children, and play tricks on them. Goading them into trouble.

He grew distant from his siblings. Distant from his parents. And as he aged, the fights became worse and worse. He ended up in the hospital more than once, and innumerable scars began to trace his body. Until his parents made it clear when he was thirteen that they would not allow him to continue this way, and that severe action would be taken should he not stop.

Then, he was silent not making trouble, or fighting even once. Until he was old enough to enter the shinobi school. Later he graduated, and spent his next few years building up his jutsu, developing a unique style of Wood Release. Now, he is done, and ready to begin testing himself again.

Nemo enters the world of shinobi after a period of absence. Time will tell if his presence will bode ill for the world. Or if perhaps, somehow, Nemo will prove a force for good.
