History:
Survival in the Crater of Death requires more than the ability to survive the brutal natural and human elements that call that place home, it requires the ability to see beyond the day to day. The Teishin Shudan were formed in a bygone era by the merging of two island mountain clans who had leaders that thought in that exact manner. As the years past their mountain fastness was the only section of safety that travelers could rely on and through those travelers they developed connections with the main village of Gekkousato. As the years went by, the Teishin Shudan used the natural resources available to them in their mountain fastness to become experts in metalworking and engineering transforming the fastness to fortress.
The youth they send to the academy in Gekkousato reflect the technological and industrial progress of the Teishin Shudan in that they have a more developed muscle structure than their peers and usually wield weapons that they have created as a rite of passage that reflects their particular fighting style.
The Teishin Shudan are ruled by a council of elders who elect a Chief Representative. The council is made of four elders, two from each of the original founding clans.
