Since getting his newest Rank-Up, it had been awhile since the man had been assigned a normal mission and, also, since he had been assigned on a mission with a certain Moon Shinobi. Since becoming a higher rank, the village had actually started to give Sojiro more information before he was thrown into his missions and this led to him knowing who his partner for his mission was going to be; Ryojin. The ice user was someone that Sojiro had considered a comrade in these trying times, or at least someone that wasn't in the deep conspiracies surrounding the village. It would be good to see the man again, assuming that he got here sooner than later. It wasn't that he was late but, as per usual, Sojiro was actually early. Despite looking forward to getting on a mission with Ryojin, mostly to see what type of new techniques and the such that the male developed, Sojiro couldn't help but wish it was in a better area. Their current mission had taken them into the lower marshes that were south of the Moon Village, where random creatures lurked and people could disappear! Which... Wasn't something that Sojiro was actually worried about, truth be told.
They had been told to handle whatever creature was creeping around the area, something that resembled a large pile of mud that was terrorizing people and walking along the main roads and making it impossible for normal travelers to make it by. Sojiro wasn't really sure what this creature could be but, the fact that it was covered in mud meant that hunting it by his nose would be out of the question. Unless the creature had some fowl, natural scent which was possible but he wasn't going to hold his breath waiting to find out, "Hold my breath... What an ironic phrase." The man grunted as adjusted in his perched seat within one of the decrepit trees in the area. The large piece of wood was slanted to one side and it seemed like one wrong move before it went tumbling to the side, only to be devoured by the mud. Despite the precarious situation, the man would rest there wearing his normal attire of black pants and a Flak Jacket to match. His feet were caked in mud but he didn't seem bothered by that, if anything, it was like wearing the most loose-fitting shoes to Sojiro.
