Beasts of Fur and Feathers [Group Mission]

Mission Details:

Cure had "gone on a mission" toward the wilderness. He realized his paranoia was not unfounded and his family might've been getting suspicious of his disguise. So he worked together with HER to set up a fake mission and send a "Fake Cure" off somewhere dangerous in the wilderness meanwhile as both part of the plan and part of the agreement with that old hag he accepted and showed up to a mission....as himself. Dorima Uzamaki! His participation in this mission was "intercepted" by the Uzamaki's but they wouldn't dare to disrupt an official mission so easily especially with a higher ranked ninja accompanying him. Dorima wore a borrowed Blaze(anbu) mask on his head as well as his flexible movement shirt, his weapons, medical bag, and other normal tools. and his favorite sandals. Dorima stood at the gate a little anxiously feeling exposed and a little cold without his disguise before he shook it of and headed out to take care of the mission as swiftly as possible so that once he returned he'd be "sent on a secret anbu mission" just in time for Cure to "return from his mission."

It was a lot of cloak and dagger stuff but Dorima would do whatever necessary to continue to avoid his family until he was strong enough to face them. "Sun Spire Mountain Range, I've yet to come to this place before." It was frustrating to be going to an unknown area for this risky mission but going somewhere "Cure" was familiar with would be riskier. With a heavy mind and heart Dorima started to ponder about the actual contents of the mission. The mission itself was real, albeit troublesome but this also helped add realism to an Blaze and another high ranked shinobi taking on this mission. That didn't really make it less of a headache though especially since their opponent was a branch of the giant eagle clan.

Those guys were always unreasonable to talk to at best and the fact they could fly made them even harder to deal with. If Dorima had any say on the matter he'd just have travelers go another route then bother with these birds but it was not up to him! Also was there even any towns or villages out this far? Why would people these days prefer to live so isolated? "If they want to be so detached from society then they should just not leave their village!" If there were villages there this seemed like a more then reasonable way to avoid conflicts with wild animals. Before he realized he had arrived but apparently he had not been the first to arrive. With his paranoia about his family Dorima immediately pulled out a katana and readied it turning toward the sudden movement shouting, "Who's there!" When he turned though he was greeted with a familiar and heart melting face...

Dorima relaxed when he noticed the two familiar faces and removed his hand from his katanas. "It's you two, did the Village actually....hmmm....seems things really won't be simple this time." Pausing Dorima recalled when setting up this ploy he had two main factions to consider. The main faction of the Village with HER who wanted to resolve the matter peacefully by all means before considering using either violence or and alternative solution to pacify both parties. Then that was that small group of elders that managed to get a hold of info on what was really going on and why there was someone Authorized to pose as a village Blaze(anbu), with a ploy at such a level it was not much of a surprise but what was shocking was the contradicting orders forced upon him.

The orders were to assassinate or kill the eagles if they resisted at all. If he refused there was a chance those few old demons would leak his identity and bring his family to his doorstep. Dorima had no doubt which orders he would follow but if things went bad he might have to become a rogue, but if that happened Dorima knew exactly what he would do before he allowed "Cure" to die and went on the run, and it involved ending a certain few elder's lives. Putting away his killing intent Dorima couldn't help but feel a headache at the situation. Dorima knew there would be others to keep an eye on him on this mission but these two.... powerful A rank and someone incredibly dear to him.......and another close friend of Dorima's in particular? He threw away any ideas of getting rid of his teammates in case they were in league with the elders. Call him emotional but he simply couldn't see the two working with those people.

Pulling himself from his mental arithmetic Dorima sighed as he placed the Blaze mask carefully over his face. His families spies probably had a good look by now. "Nevermind, we should be on our way, the Eagle Clan will be awake soon. Their nests are in the cave system on this mountain, not far from here. When approaching be sure to exude confidence and testosterone. The eagles are warrior-centric in attitude and are more often known to talk with their fists. However it is not impossible to reason with them without fighting but for that assuring their respect is recommended and strength is what they respect. Appear strong throughout this encounter." Taking a deep breath Dorima would turn to the others and listen to any questions and concerns they night have and try to answer them as best as he could. After doing so he would attempt to lead them to the nests as swiftly as he could manage.

There had to be irony at work because as the group approached the Giant Eagles were soaring out of their cave and gathering in the air. They looked like they were prepared for war. Dorima could feel a migraine settling between his brows as he realized he had to talk about peaceful relations with such war-faring eagles. There was no time to lose though before they could all gather Dorima rushed forward standing his full 5 feet of height forward powerfully and letting out a booming tenorous voice. "STOP! We are ninja from the Sun Village and have come to speak with your clan about the violent attacks of your people. Send us your leader to speak with and we'll discuss this with honor!" At the sudden booming voice coming from the small albeit very well built man the eagles paused in their gathering as if they were considering his words. There seemed to be plenty of skepticism in their gaze but with a slight hint of respect as well.

Dorima stood tall resembling an unbendable mountain despite being so short. Before the eagles could decide whether or not they wanted to bother with the three one eagle appeared that was clearly the Clan leader he was strong looking and sturdy and was probably around 25 with the body of a mocha skinned human man with huge brown and gold wings extending from his back and chief like tattoo markings all over his mostly exposed body and to finish the look a very well crafted looking fur loincloth short mixture with a collection of teeth from ferocious beasts as a belt. "In our clan only the strong may speak and be heard little warrior...." At the eagle calling him little, Dorima growled aggressively at the eagle. 'Idiot! How dare you point it out!Do you want to fight? I'll definitely beat you senseless!' It took all his will power for Dorima not to shout his thought out and start brawling immediately.

These eagles really knew how to get under someone's skin. The Eagle Chief smiled as if Dorima's response pleased him and the respect in the sadistic bird's eye was clear to see. Two more eagles flew forward before shifting to a man and a woman with eagle wings as well. The ladies was brown and white and the other man had mostly black wings with streaks of gray. These were the Chiefs left and right hands. Despite the chief teasing Dorima he looked straight toward Sojiro probably sensing who was the strongest of the three. The Eagle Chief's eye's were alight with challenge and an excitement to compete. "Us three will spar each of you and if you can impress us we'll listen to what you have to say to us without complaint....if not....we'll kidnap you and use you as training posts for our young!"

After saying something so shameless the damn bird rushed over toward Sojiro without even giving Dorima a second glance, but Dorima had bigger fish to fry as the black winged eagle rushed toward him wielding an odachi! And the lady landed pulling a dagger and kunai from....that place...before slowly stalking toward Kokoro. 'Talking with their fists immediately? Are you savages?' Without time to do much but mentally complain Dorima had his katana's out immediately as he crossed them just in time to parry the black eagle's first strike!

[Yin Healing Wound Destruction]

Dorima smacked his lips in annoyance. He had no other choice. He'd finish this in a flash! Dorima traded a few fast paced blows with his two katana. After a few moments the eagle he was fighting landed a powerful blow against Dorima's shoulder cutting through part of the sleeve of his lab coat and shirt and smiling Dorima kicked viciously into the eagle man's legs before gathering the chakra in his fist and punching the off center eagle dead center with all of his might slamming the eagle-man into the nearby cave wall. Dorima had a bad feeling the other two battle maniacs would play with their opponents and Dorima was not interested whatsoever in prolonging this senseless fighting however he knew he could not rush or ruin their fun.

Sighing Dorima healed the actual grievous wound with a glowing green hand and was about to watch the other two fight when another eagle transformed with a rage filled cry she was about to attack but the man who pulled himself wobbly from the cave wall interrupted in a booming voice, "This fight is not yours stay BACK! Do not shame our ways babygirl!" Dorima was rather surprised the tank like man was still standing but at the same time grateful he didn't have to deal with random eagles jumping at him one by one. The eagle man could barely stand now so with a sigh Dorima told him he could recover a bit first and surprised the eagle agreed knowing his limits. So the two began to watch the other two duels as their own was postponed a bit.

Dorima realized he had accidentally done more damage then he had realized to his opponent and when Dorima called the man out on it the eagle begrudgingly admitted defeat. After which Dorima sat behind the eagle and began to heal the eagle while observing his squad mates battling each other. The eagle was against it but as a loser he had no right to complain. Once the other two had most likely both finished their opponent the Clan Leader woke up rapidly after getting knocked out flat. Animals truly were more resistant as the eagle he had healed recovered swiftly as well with the help of his healing. The Clan Leader glared at them all silently for a moment as all the eagles had gone dead silent when the Clan Leader was knocked out, before giving a big cheesy grin and an excited look on his face. "So what can I do for you?" This time the Clan Leader spoke directly to Dorima again acknowledging him as the spokesperson of the group despite him not being the strongest. Exhausted Dorima explained the situation and asked them to cooperate. "Please just stop attacking travelers on that road as it's one that's "supposed" to be under out protection!" After explaining things Dorima got a shocking response. "Oh, okay. We only attacked those travelers because the last time when we petitioned the two villages to send some ninja for a spar with our youth so they can get experience the only ones who answered were some elders from your village. They said they'd send some people along that road every once in a while for us that wanted to train in a battle to the death which we were more then happy to do as well. Much better then a spar. In fact if we got word from them today that some ninja would be coming to us for the same thing today. If the young Blaze there hadn't started trying talk to us about something we would've assumed you guys were those ninja's and just started a fight to the death...." Dorima was shocked but luckily it was hidden by the borrowed Blaze mask. He had a sinking feeling he knew just which elders had set them up, but this was neither the time nor the place. He would certainly settle those bastards soon though. After trying to shoot both ninja a look through the eye holes in his mask to not question the elder thing Dotima continued speaking."Understood those were impostors from now on please son't listen to them or the people they send in the meantime I'll let our Kage's aide know of your intentions and so long as it's normal non-deadly sparring I'm sure we can work out a legitimate partnership." With that Dorima would signal the time to leave and use body flicker to disappear from the Eagles cave and do so continuously until they were once again on the cliff were he met the other two squad mates before. After standing there silently and considering what to tall them he would simply say, "Let's go home."
