Mission Details:

Cure was excited! Cure was super excited! Ever since he'd met the man before he couldn't get Sojiiro Sakura out of his head! Today when he went for another mission assignment though he had to a double...no triple take! There in clear print was that familiar name! Sojiiro Sakura. Cure made sure he had all his equipment and was truly prepared for this mission. Two Katanas? Check! Two Exploding Note's? Check! His senbon? Wait where'd he put that thing? Oh yeah the right sleeve...Check! Medical bag on his hip? Checkeroono! His forehead protector? On his arm in this disguise. Alright then everything was ready to go and the client would begin heading to the gate soon! Cure had to get there well in advance so that he could prepare himself to get in the mission mind frame and also prepare his heart to see that *gulp* mysterious Sun ninja who swept him away.....uhhh...he meant helped him out of a dangerous situation. Cure headed off immediately arriving at the gate at his fastest speed.

Cure spluttered....yes Cure....not Dorima....actually spluttered! What was it about this man that disarmed him so? Hurrying to regain control of the reigns of his emotions Cure hurried to come up with a reply and pretend such a weird sound had never come out of his mouth. Someone spluttered? Who? Wasn't me! "Soji...aha...well if anyone would be the dream here it'd be you. Are more like a comma since no one would want to wake up from....you...." Suddenly Cure realized what he was saying and turned his head unable to stop the red shine from his ears to showcase his embarrassment. Honestly he wasn't sure if he actually had his disguise of and was actually Dorima right now with how he was acting! Getting flustered...flirting...since when does Cure flirt! *Ahem* "What I meant was....there's a lot going on in the village now huh?" Cure looked back to see that their pace wasn't too fast so they could still see the village far off in the distance. They had yet to encounter any problems so the merchants were hardly in any danger just yet. "I heard there have been a lot of new outposts being built and even quite a few new buildings and businesses in the village opening up. That reminds me! I heard of this new Apothecary called the Inukura Apothecary opening up, and from what I here it's the perfect place for an aspiring medic ninja to join! I think their still hiring so I was going to go apply to join when I returned to the village." Cure got distracted as he thought he sensed something strange for a moment but after not seeing anything out of the ordinary he shrugged and continued conversing with Sojiro. "Oh I know! *ahem* What do you think of coming with me to check it out? You're a medical ninja too maybe you'll be interested in joining as well." He cleared his throat when he sounded too excited at first. Cure looked up at the man with shinning hopeful eyes. He actually hoped the other medic ninja would join with him so they could be closer to each other. This is how you made friends right? Well how should he know the closest he'd had to friends as a child had all tried to kill him at some point....not the point though.....

0066ff]]Sojiro would listen to Cure as he began to ramble and would give a sincere laugh as he did, grinning at the man. The male would move from on top of the carriage into the seat next to his fellow Shinobi in the driving seat, listening to him as he went on about speaking about the new buildings that opened up. As he mentioned the Apothecary, Sojiro had pondered on how to respond for a moment while he would start to look around a little bit. He thought that he had picked up something with his nose but perhaps it was just a scent traveling with the wind, though he'd keep his guard up regardless.

"Oh, I would love to but there's actually one problem with that, Cure." The man would give a small nod of his head and move to place a hand on his friend's shoulder, "I am actually the doctor that runs that clinic." After that, the man would move to reach into his shinobi pouch and go rooting around inside. Eventually, he would have his medical ID out and show it to the man while they were traveling, a proud grin on his lips, "And you're right, I'm looking for people to come work. I've recently hired a fellow shinobi named Kannagi on as a nurse. She doesn't have any medical ninjutsu but she's an intelligent mind when it comes to normal procedures." He had been glad that Kannagi had agreed to help around the Apothecary and even more hands would only be better. The man would gently tap his chin, "I only have one office though, I don't have permission to have more than one practicing doctor in my building..."[/center]

When Cure heard Soji mention that he was the owner of the apothecary he almost felt as if his mind was blown! But when he heard they could only have one practicing doctor he was a bit concerned. He was a practicing medic as well but he was fine having a non-practicing job in the apothecary. But what if his having a license to practice prevented him from joining? "While I do have a license to practice I'm fine with having a non-practicing job...hehe...I din't really expect you'd be the Big Boss! makes me wanna join more. Well I hope there's some hope of you considering me?" Little Cure whispered a bit towards the end only someone with sharp senses would hear that part before raising his voice again to ask for Soji's consideration when suddenly....

*CLANG*

With only the briefest moment to prepare from the sudden figure dropping in Cure had jerked his right arm immediately sending the senbon to his hand to defend against the kunai that had been heading straight for his heart. As a medic his powers of observation were normally very fine-tuned and efficient so it took only a moment to realize how this stranger in dark robes hiding all it's features got the drop on them. There was the smell of a particular herb Cure knew of that could hide a person's scent at a distance but if you got to close to someone even if the scent was hidden a medic ninja of proficient skill would recognize the herb most likely even when others didn't. Cure did not have Soji's sense of smell so the other ninja probably noticed the scent before him and might even be able to tell exactly how many were ambushing and where they were. As it stood from the strong scent of the herbs in his surrounding Cure only knew there must be many.

Second Cure noticed dense chakra on certain parts of the limbs of his assaulter before the person was able to dissipate it and focus on attacking now that the ambush began. Cure guessed that he had actually sensed them earlier but they had likely used this chakra to silence any noise their limbs had been making in an instant causing him to dismiss it as paranoia.

Thirdly the man had more then one kunai prepared! He'd aimed one directly for his heart....the one Cure had blocked since the level of danger was thick but it was a feint after all and Cure felt a sharp pain as a dagger pierced his midsection. From the way it stabbed forward it was likely aimed for a vital organ but Cure had instinctively shifted his body so it landed in a more harmless area.

The conclusion to these observations? These were professional assassins and there was no way their "client" was some normal merchant! Cure had heard of those shameless bastards who applied for lower ranked mission apps then the actual difficulty of the mission to hide themselves for various reasons but he never thought anyone in the lawful militaristic Sun Village would actually dare! Since it'd come to this Cure would definitely force their "generous client" to spill exactly what the heck was going on! But first? Surviving!

With a determined glint in his eyes Cure immediately had a sharp green chakra coating his left hand which he'd flattened like a knife before stabbing at the assailant's easiest vital point to hit given his disadvantaged position. The guy cursed and dodged backwards but this is what Cure wanted now the fun could really begin! There was a devilish smile beneath his mask as Cure thought it was time for the torture his family put him through in the disguise of "training" to pay off! Senbon in one hand, Chakra Scalpel in the next Cure was the one to attack this time while he also was silently preparing a substitution jutsu to surprise another assassin that was attempting to sneak an attack on him while he attacked the guy in front of him. Cure had been pretending not to notice so that he could take them both on at once!

BOOM! The assassin that had intended on sneaking up on him struck his "body" and Cure only smiled as his body became a log between the two assassins. The two suddenly felt a sense of danger and the one who could dodge was the assassin who had attempted to sneak Cure but it would do the assassin no good. On the log was an explosive note that got rid of the first assassin and Cure appeared behind the assassin who tried to sneak an attack onto him. With a single thrust Cure's hand went through the heart of the second assassin. Cure could feel the warm sticky blood sliding down his arm. There was a darkness in his eye's that sickened him. Despite his family's occupation he had never gotten used to the idea of killing so easy. There was darkness in his eyes as he knew he would be having nightmares that night again but this was a mission and he was Cure. The nightmares and conscience could wait for tonight for Dorima to worry about. Today Cure was here to clean house and he wouldn't allow his feelings to get in the way unless the lives of his comrades were on the line. Otherwise he'd be putting those same comrades in danger. When Cure confirmed the deed done he slung the body from his arm and looked to see the pieces of the other assassin passing on the wind. Before he could turn to look for their "client" to show the man a piece of his mind he frowned before clenching his fist turning and punching an assassin straight in the gut as he slung the surprise assassin toward Beast glad the man had warned him. Cherry Blossom Impact! "Tag. And sure I can teach and nurse you can count on me." After replying he turned casually slinging his senbon straight at the second assassin ninja. He crossed with a katana and he pulled one of his own katana out from the back of his lab coat and the two began a deadly dance but with a flair of speed and his superior skill in vital point finding Cure skewered the assassin but only after getting a few more wounds himself. This time he turned to the carriage of their "client" without interruption and prepared to give that lying bastard a piece of his mind......

Cure arrived wrenching the door of the carriage open violently! If he was just a bit stronger perhaps he might've even tore the door off it's handle. The wealthy merchant who contracted them jumped in his seat but instead of looking angry at Cure's rude behavior there was already nervous panic around as if he already knew what was coming. He spoke up immediately saying, "You can't cancel the job now! You already took it. It'll count as a failure.....You'd be punished!!!!" When he said this he spoke to Cure who was in front of him but also kept looking toward Sojiro clearly more concerned with keeping him on. Cure was very smart if nothing else and he had realized that the man must've asked for Soji specifically due to his excelling performance among genin. That way he could be more assured in whatever challenge was being faced and still not have to pay as much since Sojiro was still a low tier genin. This pissed Cure off even more and the fact that Cure was mostly disregarded pushed him over the edge. He snatched the merchant by the collar and growled in the man's face! "Spill it or I'll spill you!" The merchant shook looking frightened. He was no longer disregarding Cure, which gave Cure a small albeit petty satisfaction. "Y-y-y-you w-wouldn't!" The man looked into Cure's eyes and was pale as if looking at his death reflected. Defeated he responded, "Well you know that famous hunter-ninja Azubaz? I happened to acquire a favorite sword of his that had been stolen at some point long ago. He may or may not have tracked it toward me...." Cure had already had a bad leafing when the word hunter-ninja was mentioned but when the man finished speaking Cure was the one who's grown pale this time from what little of his skin could be seen. His hand went limp dropping the man and his eyes glassed over with panic. What was he going to do!?!? He was an Uzamaki, plenty of people had a heavy bounty for anyone of his family dead or alive...and even if he wasn't killed or the village took up for him and saved him somehow his days of hiding from his family would b e done. Those people would drag him back home and continue his torture until no humanity was left in him then they would force him to use his overwhelming medical skills that were one of the few good things he ever got from his family to make poisons and toxins crueler and more lethal then even his mother's. He would become a miniature albeit superior version of her! The simple thought brought a cold shiver to down his back and as if it was a catalyst Cure continued to shiver and shake with panic and despair. Not once did it ever cross the logical and loyal man's mind to quit the mission. He was a proud and dedicated Sun ninja after all. .....

Cure was almost lost in another world where horror seemed to overcome him. But the warm and concerned voice from the usual confident and cocky man that seemed to be able to invoke emotions even in the nearly heartless persona of Cure was heard. And it seemed to pierce straight through his depths. Cure opened his moth prepared for the usual lie or brushoff, prepared to pretend everything was fine and he felt nothing, prepared......but he couldn't. It never came. So he closed his mouth and turned back to the lying merchant. Cure realized he was no better then this sniveling man really. With his sensitive identity and the trouble he was sure to bring to the doorstep Cure continued to keep his quiet just waiting for a situation like this to fall on the poor unsuspecting Soji-kun.  He shook his head to clear it. "Get back in the carriage and don't speak again. You owe me a debt. In another time and another place.....I.WILL.COLLECT." His deep gender-neutral voice became even deeper and nearly demonic as he sent the pompous merchant nearly running back into the carriage. After ensuring their clients were secure Cure would grunt and turn to Sojiro. "Come with me a moment." His voice was rough and more close to the impersonal voice he normally used. After he would attempt to lead Sojiro away from the carriage a short distance so they were out of sight and hearing range. He'd come to a decision. He would tell this man who was like his kryptonite his true identity. Afterwords he would return to the carriage no matter what Sojiro said and he'd focus on the mission. If the hunter ninja discovered his identity he would then be able to leave the Sun Village without any regrets. He'd rather be killed or captured by his village's own anbu then a hunter ninja or his family. Cure undid the effects of the transformation jutsu he always wore and removed his mask and surgeons outfit taking the time to strip tease just a little bit leaving him in his shorts and he replaced his boots with sandals. He took of his glasses and took out the colored contacts that disguised his eye color. Finally he put away the arm band that was on his lab coat and replaced it with the village head bandanna he wore as Dorima. "Voilla, here I am. Dorima Uzamaki!" The revealed Dorima's voice was rich deep and somewhat sultry like an old school southern gentleman's voice. He suddenly reversed the process in a flash and with a body flicker he was back on the lead of the carriage standing stiffly and emotionless at attention waiting to continue their duty. When Sojiro came over they could continue and he could worry about losing his first and biggest crush far too early another time.
