Building Template and Guide Empty Building Template and Guide

Post by Admin Thu Aug 01, 2019 3:22 pm

These are the Templates used to create your own custom Building. Please try to fill them out fully, with as much detail as possible. The easier it is to read and understand an item, the easier it is to get it approved.

Buildings are used for different things, depending on the kind of building or what you intend to use it for. Buildings normally fall into three different types of categories, people most often use them for personal homes, shops or conquest buildings. Each use of a building has different guidelines or expectations, which will covered here.

    Personal Home
A personal home is a building used as a house for your character. This gives you your very own section of the board to role play in and use for your own. In addition to giving you your own section of the site, a personal home also increases the amount of items you can take with you into battle. There are three different sizes of personal home you can buy. While this is mostly aesthetic, each size comes with its own item amount addition. When you create a personal home you are allowed to decorate it and make it look however you wish.

    -Small Home:
-A small home is one floor, comes with a living room, a kitchen and one bedroom.
-A small home allows you to take an extra small item or light piece of gear into battle.
    -Cost 200 Ryo

    -Medium Home:
-A medium home can be one or two floors, comes with a living room, a kitchen, and three bedrooms.
-A medium home comes with 2 attachments (non bedroom additions)
-A medium home allows you to take an extra medium item or medium piece of gear into battle.
-Cost 250 Ryo + previous homes

    -Large Home:
-A large home can be one, two or three floors, comes with a living room, kitchen, and five bedrooms.
-A large home allows you to take an extra large item or heavy piece of gear into battle.
-A large home comes with 4 attachments (non bedroom additions)
-Cost 300 Ryo + previous homes

    Shops
Shops are buildings in which you sell a good, a product or a resource from. While SG does not have a dedicated civilian system, we will be allowing characters to own their own business and sell items. If you own a business, you are allowed to sell a type of good. For example, if you are a medic, you can sell poisons or antidotes to other characters. If you are a bukijutsu user, you can create weapons and sell them to other players. If you buy something from a shop, the Ryo you spend will go to the player who made it, instead of off into the void. In addition, if you buy something from a shop, you will get a discount based on the size of the shop. To balance the system, the person who owns the shop will make less money off of the discount, but can use the discount themselves.

Example: If you buy a C-Rank small item from a black smith, if you pay 5 ryo less, they will earn 5 ryo less, however the owner of that shop also gets a 5 ryo discount if they use their own shop to make items.

Once you buy a shop, it will get its own place on the forum, giving you a place to rp in your own shop. In order for someone to make a purchase from your shop, you must have a topic in the shop, exchanging goods.

    -Small Shop:
-A small Shop gives you a 5 Ryo discount on the good you are buying.
    -Cost 300 Ryo

    -Medium Shop:
-A Medium Shop gives you a 10 Ryo discount on the good you are buying.
-Cost 350 Ryo + previous shop

    -Large Shop:
-A Medium Shop gives you a 15 Ryo discount on the good you are buying.
-Cost 400 Ryo + previous shop

    Conquest Buildings
A conquest building is used in the process of taking over a region, and is most often used when trying to establish a new village. This topic will not go over the conquest system, with that being found in the conquest guide somewhere else. This topic however will explain each type of conquest building and what it is used for. Keep in mind, if you begin conquest on a region, it is considered property of the village you are aligned with. So if you are a moon shinobi, it will belong to the moon village. The only exception is if you are a missing ninja or not apart of a village. If you are conquering for a village, you must be that villages leader.

    -Outpost:
-An outpost is the first step in conquering a region. It is a small establishment, normally a watch tower or something similar. An out post can hold up to five individuals and requires 2 people of the same allegiance to set up. It must stand for two real life weeks before it can be upgraded.
-An out post cost 300 Ryo

    -Settlement:
-A settlement comes after an outpost, and can only be upgraded from an already established outpost. A settlement can is a small enclosure, with a collection of two or three buildings. It requires 4 people of the same allegiance to set up and must stand for a real life month before it can be upgraded.
-A Settlement cost 350 Ryo and consumes an outpost.

    -Town:
-A town is a fully finished establishment where people can now live and work. It is a collection of a variety of buildings, homes and shops, and now stands alone. If it is owned by a village, it is considered its property and the region is now owned by that village. If it is stand alone or owned by an outside group, it is considered that groups territory. It requires 6 people of the same allegiance to set up and must stand for three real life months before it can be upgraded.
-A Town cost 400 Ryo and consumes a settlement.

    -Village:
-A village is a large area of buildings, shops, homes and other facilities. It has grown to a large enough size to be identified as a major settlement. If the village is owned by another hidden village, then the region is considered to be owned by that hidden village. It requires 10 people of the same allegiance to set up and must stand for three real life months before it can be upgraded.
-A Village cost 450 Ryo and consumes a Town.

    -Hidden Village:
-A Hidden Village is a large village with its own shinobi academy and ninja force. Hidden villages come after a normal village, but can not be upgraded if the village is already owned by a hidden village. This means a Moon Village village can not become a second hidden village. However if the village is not owned or controlled by another hidden village, it can become one. A hidden village requires 10 people that do not belong to another hidden village, and is now considered a fully functional Hidden village.
-A Hidden Village cost 500 Ryo and consumes a village.
