Kappa Style: Water Release Armor

Jutsu Name: Water Release Armor

Type: Ninjutsu and Taijutsu

Appearance: A thin layer of water engulfs the user's entire body.
Backstory: The Kappa Clan developed this technique as a method of making use of their natural abilities when submerged in water. The Water Release Armor allows them to make use of their enhanced speed and strength without actually being in water.

Range: Self
Duration: 5 posts. [Cooldown is equal to the number of posts this technique is used.]
Effect: Water Release Armor is a special type of jutsu developed by the most skilled of the Kappa Clan to greatly increase the effectiveness of their taijutsu when on land. Not only does it imitate being submerged in water, allowing them to make use of their clan's kekkei genkai, but it also grants a stat boost of 20 in the areas of strength, speed, and reflexes. Water Release Armor costs S-rank chakra to activate and C-rank chakra per post to maintain for up to 5 posts. This technique has a cooldown varying with how many posts it is used. If it used for three posts, for example, the cooldown is three posts. The special attributes of the chakra infused water allow it to defend against fire techniques equal in rank or lower, extinguishing them upon contact, while also protecting against lightning as the lightning will remain in the water release armor, electrifying it rather than reaching the user. This is done by the chakra in the armor 'catching' the lightning and pulling it along a specific chakra path throughout the armor. A lightning technique that is S-class or higher is able to pierce through the chakra flow and electrocute the user. Although the armor defends against fire and lightning techniques, the force still goes through and can effect the user such as knocking them backwards. Furthermore, the strength of physical attacks decrease by 20 stat points upon making contact with the armor, though they still can reach the user. The weakness of this armor is primarily cutting or slicing attacks, or very strong physical attacks. Although the inner layer acts as a coolant, protecting the user from the water heating up, the outer layer can become extremely hot, scolding even, when encountering fire jutsu ranked B-rank or higher. The water armor itself is approximately 2 centimeters thick.

Water is a Electric Conductor, in reality, people get electricuted when they are in water and the electrical energy so while touches it . How does the water prevent you from being electricuted? I mean I understnd where your coming from, but the waters touching you right?

Could you go Into more detail on how the lightning doesn't hurt you?

Alright what if the Lightning has a huge force behind it, or it also turns out to be S-rank? Would the power of that push be enough to break through the water?

Ok, here's my issues.


1. Bump the cooldown to at least equal of the jutsu's duration.

2.
The special attributes of the chakra infused water allow it to defend against fire techniques equal in rank or lower
Ok, if it can block up to S rank, which is pretty much almost every fire technique, that I can understand. However, getting hit by a fire jutsu would heat up the armor, scalding you, no?

3. About lightning too. Hm, I'm not sure I can let this slide. Why not we make it like the other jutsu. Even though it nullifies it, the force also goes through. For example, great fireball jutsu. It does a good knockback. Mention that you're also knockback, though the armor lessen the degree.

4. How thick is ze armor? Does the bonuses stack with your clan's passive?
